Jana was an amazing house guest! She took great care of our 3 pets (dog, cat and Axolotl), and when our naughty pup got into the Axolotl food and ate it all, she went ahead and replaced it for us. She also bought us more espresso beans, washed her towels and vacuumed the entire house before we came home. Our German Shepherd got along wonderfully with her pup and he was actually sad and mopey for 2 days after she left. Would definitely love to have Jana stay as a guest again!
Cameron and Andrea made us feel welcome and comfortable right away. When we arrived, we had a walk-through with Cameron, who showed us everything we needed for our stay. Their home was in a great neighborhood, spacious and included 2 office areas and high speed wifi. They were quick to answer any questions and/or offer local suggestions. Max, their spunky pup was hilarious and a delight to be around. He has a happy personality, wants to please and really loves his humans. On your daily walks, the sitter will need to stay alert because Max doesn't like certain dogs in the area and will definitely let you know. Cameron can offer suggestions for the walks that will help. Mati and Leo were very loving and sweet to be around. We enjoyed finding the little nooks where they would take their afternoon naps. Great location, great family and a great sit!
I had a lovely two month stay at Barbara's home in Warsash and enjoyed my time there. It is a lovely home in an interesting area with great local walks and cycles. It is convenient for local shops but also on the main bus route to Southampton and Portsmouth. Jimmy-the-cat is a real character and excellent company. The wi-fi connection is fast and robust too. I highly recommend this sit!
We had such a fantastic time looking after the gorgeous girls Andreas and Colby. They were a dream to look after and loved their cuddles and walks. Claire and Nick are such a lovely couple and made us feel so welcome in their beautiful home. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to do a house sit in Gold Coast! Xx
We had a great time looking after Bobby while Christine visited family. Her cosy flat in the centre of Keswick has lovely views over the park and fells beyond. Bobby is still quite young but he's really laid back, affectionate and obedient. It was lovely going for a variety of walks around Keswick with him, which must be one of the best places in England to have a dog - shops, pubs and restaurants are nearly all "dog friendly". A particularly nice part of the stay was that Christine is part of a long standing dog walking group who meet daily in the local park. This gives Bobby the chance to meet up with his pals and play. There can be up to 8 dogs of all varieties in this group and it was a joy to watch them socialise, play and generally race round after each other. It was also nice for us to meet and chat to locals. We'd have no hesitation in sitting for Christine again and we'd highly recommend it to any prospective sitter.
Although only a long weekend sit, the communication and welcome were thorough. Nicola and Chris talked us through everything and even sent amusing videos of how to coral the chickens if necessary. Their house is beautiful and I'm sure the area is too but with the temperature up at 34C, we didn't venture far from cold drinks and cold showers! Roxy and Misty are chilled, laid back cats who were no trouble and we didn't need the videos as the chickens knew their routine. A lovely sit for lovely people.
Ann was a very nice host, easy to communicate with, even being out of the country and she gave me a tour of the house prior to her departure and showed me how to use the alarm system (pretty simple btw). Groucho was so sweet! Didn't even need time to warm up, he was ready for pets from the very first minute. Playful if encouraged and was always greeting me at the door when I came back from work. House is a charm (must be awesome to hang out in the backyard during summer), neighborhood is great and felt safe. I highly recommend Ann and Groucho and would love to come back again!! *Ann warned me that Groucho wouldn't let me sleep past 6:30am and that was very true lol I am an early riser so it didn't bother me but I am sure it wouldn't be so great for people who likes to sleep past that time.
