We would like to give Paul and Wowie a big thank you for allowing us to take care of their smallholding whilst they were attending the Devon County Show. Paul and Wowie greeted us warmly when we arrived and gave us very clear and concise instructions on just what was required for the care of the pets and the livestock, followed by a tour of the farm. We were then shown around the bungalow and shown how to use the various appliances before they left for the show. We were very comfortable in the bungalow throughout our stay which was well equipped and we had a wonderful experience throughout the weekend. The dogs were great fun to be with and surprised us with just how much they enjoyed riding around in the back of the Gator. Herbie seemed to favour John and followed him everywhere! Poppy is an absolute gem and very playful and Juno being the older dog took things at her own pace. They all loved cuddles and are all well behaved, well trained and fantastic companions and Boots loved accompanying us all on our evening walk. We spent many happy moments just watching the chickens roam free and also enjoyed the regular supply of eggs that they provided! It was great to watch the pigs feeding and playing and the sheep are all so adorable, we loved being greeted by them. We were also lucky enough to be looking after day old chicks which was a wonderful experience. All in all we have been privileged to enjoy one of the best experiences of our lives and we have travelled and seen a lot but this was just so much fun. We would love to repeat the experience given the opportunity.
I really enjoyed my sit looking after Otto and Max, who were both adorable and very well behaved. The views across Rothesay bay from Alexander's house were beautiful. Bute is a beautiful Isle and everyone I came into contact with was super friendly and helpful. I hope to return at some point to do more sight seeing.
I had such an amazing time cat sitting for Kaitlyn. This was a fun sit! I absolutely loved taking care of her cats, Meow Meow, Baby and Daisy. Baby and Meow Meow were very affectionate, sweetest and most entertaining cats I have ever taken care of. The three of them have different and unique personalities. Baby would lay on my stomach and sleep with me throughout the night and would purr🥰Meow Meow would just hang out with me anywhere around the house and beg me to let him outside. He is very vocal. Daisy is such a sweetheart with the cutest meow ever who is shy and timid and first but then she warms up to you. Kaitlyn provided me with videos with instructions about their feeding routine. Everything was clear and easy to understand. Plenty of things and activities to do in Dana Point. I loved the plants and how comfortable her place was. It felt like home to me. Thank you Kaitlyn for inviting me over to your house. I would definitely and happily love to sit for these precious kitties again in the future!
