I was lucky to find Lori for a last-minute cat sit. She was communicative and flexible on timing and sit dates, which is exactly what I needed for this sit. Lori asked the right questions to get to know Happy and the house prior to committing to the sit, which made me very comfortable. As she is local to Nashville (for a bit), she was able to stop by and get to know the house and me prior to the stay. Lori provided updates on Happy throughout the sit (which was greatly appreciated) and left the house in wonderful condition. I really appreciated how self-sufficient she was as I was in a completely different part of the world. I look forward to having Lori sit again in 2024.
Traveling and leaving Bella behind is always heartwrenching. Bella was dumped at the age of 5 years old in the desert to fend for herself. While we agreed to foster her, we were (happily) a foster failures. The next day I adopted Bella. We spent weeks getting her to trust us and that we would not leave her. Fast forward 8 years, we always wonder what she thinks when we travel. Laura and Jaime stepped up and made Bella feel loved. Laura and Jaime were kind enough to keep us posted on their stay, how Bella was doing and the photos always made us feel good that she was well cared for and enjoying their visit as well. Milena and Bob are outstanding sitters! I was so happy to meet them and thrilled with the care they gave the pets. Milena kept in touch, sent pictures, made sure I knew all the critters were in good shape. This gave me great peace of mind. The house was in fantastic shape when I came home - she had gone above and beyond on the house for sure. I got to visit with them - they are global travelers with lots of great stories! Just great fun people all around, and anyone would be lucky to get them.
