We had a fabulous time looking after Rita. Even thought she was shy on the first day the rest of the time she was coming to sit with us on the sofa and in bed and chatted away. Leon and Jane were so welcoming and showed up around their house and made us feel at home. The house is so lovely and is in a perfect spot to go on morning walks and visit the local coffee shops. Thank you again for letting us meet Rita and for sharing your home with us.
We had a great time at Jacklin's and Jerome's home with their dog Claire. Claire was an amazing dog to pet sit. She was very sweet and loved to hang around wherever we were. She loves going for walks and drives. She's a bit reactive around other dogs, but nothing that's too much to handle. She's very food motivated so that helped in keeping her focus away from other dogs. We'll definitely miss having her around. The house was clean, easy to maintain and in a safe and quiet neighbourhood. There's plenty of room to park a car in the driveway and the internet speed was fast which was important for our remote work. Jacklin and Jerome are very warm people, easy to communicate with, hospitable and welcoming. They left clear and detailed instructions. Before we started the house sit they showed us around and helped us get to know the house and Claire. They were also very flexible in when we arrived and left the home, they were able to accommodate us arriving one day earlier. We also had one unexpected change in plans where Wout had to go to help with a health scare in his family, this was at the start of the house sit and they were very accommodating to us, even driving him to the airport. This was super appreciated as it made things more smooth and less stressful for Wout. Thanks for having us, we'll definitely visit if we're in the area :) We would highly recommend a house sit at Jacklin and Jerome's home!
Irina and her husband were lovely hosts and made me feel welcome. Their flat was very nice and there was so much to see in their area. Kisi was shy at first, but warmed quickly! So sweet and well-tempered. Great sit- would recommend!
Such a lovely visit. Rusty is all cat. He spends the day sleeping in the sun and the afternoons supervising some neighborhood "frenemy" cats from his window perch as they frolic in his yard. He loves his toys and snuggled on the couch while I did paperwork. The home is clean and uncluttered, making it easy to keep tidy. The guest bed is very comfortable. The location is great, with stores nearby. I had a great time. This is a very chill sit.
We had a wonderful stay at Martin and Glyn’s home. The house is cosy and comfortable and ideally located in the beautiful suburb of Teddington. For walks, Bushy Park is 5min walk from the property which is a stunning wild park filled with deer and leads to Hampton Court Palace for history enthusiasts. Teddington Lock is just a 10min walk with links to riverside and woodland paths to Richmond or Kingston. Piccolina is very easy going and a pleasure to look after. She’ll let you know when she’s hungry or requires brushing and likes a little play time at night. Watch out for an imposter who looks quite similar and very friendly when she visits and also a white cat who sneaks in to snack on cat nuts if the back door is left open. He has also learned to tailgate behind Piccolina through the cat flap! 😺 Martin and Glyn were very welcoming and provided a detailed guidebook plus some suggestions for local walking routes. We remained in contact throughout the stay and they kindly offered us to stay an extra night if required. Overall a pleasant housesit which we’d recommend to others.
Teddy and Charlie are adorable, they are both affectionate, well behaved and love to receive fuss and treats!! Kathy and Andrew made us feel very welcome in their beautiful home and communication throughout was excellent. Thanks for a great housesit
