What a treat it was to look after Noodle for Tommye! Noodle was an absolute delight to spend time with, as she was full of energy, but was also very affectionate. She loved her morning and evening brushes and we enjoyed watching the sunset with her regularly out on the breathtaking lanai. Speaking of the lanai, Tommye’s condo made us feel like we were staying in a resort. Not only did the balcony and the master bedroom provide amazing views across the bay to Lido Key & the bridge, her whole unit was very spacious and luxurious, having everything you could possibly need. The building itself had a lot to offer as well, from two great pools and workout facilities, to a couple of tennis courts and 24-hour security, plus everything (downtown, Lido Key & Siesta Key) was within walking/cycling distance. You couldn’t ask for a better spot. Tommye was the ultimate host. She was a pleasure to converse with, both before and during the sit, and she gave us detailed instructions for Noodle, along with great suggestions for around the area. She really allowed for us to feel right at home. We would absolutely love the opportunity to be able to come back and spend more time with Noodle in the near future. We can’t recommend this sit enough.
My recent house sitting experience with Pi was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I arrived in Perth, I was warmly welcomed by Catherine and Laurie at the airport and into their homey house nestled in the heart of Perth. First and foremost, the communication with Catherine and Laurie was excellent. They were prompt in responding to any inquiries before the sit, providing me with all the necessary information and ensuring a smooth arrival process. Upon meeting them in person, I was immediately put at ease by their friendly demeanour and genuine hospitality. They made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay and was introduced to the neighbours. The house was very comfortable to stay in and Pi is an absolute sweetheart and very well-cared for. Catherine and Laurie informed me that Pi is a very reserved cat to strangers and might be hiding for the first week(s). However, after two days she came out of her shield and completely stole my heart with her affectionate nature and playful antics. I enjoyed every moment spent with her, whether it was her leisurely play sessions or simply cuddling up on the couch. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and wholeheartedly recommend Catherine, Laurie, and Pi to anyone looking for an unforgettable house sitting opportunity in Perth. I feel incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to connect with such wonderful individuals and create beautiful memories. Thank you for everything!
Where to begin! We simply adored Pupi and Richie, and we find ourselves missing them frequently! We had the pleasure of spending time with two amazing dogs. They are incredibly well-behaved, sweet, and easy to take care of. Pupi is energetic, loves her walks and that you throw the ball for her to catch. Besides that playful personality, she is also super affectionate and loved being close to us during the day and when sleeping. Richie loves belly rubs and enjoys cuddling, and sometimes out of nowhere will have the cutest zoomies moments. Occasionally, if he thinks he heard a cat near the front yard, you may have the pleasure of hearing his beautiful basset hound howling. They are both friendly with other dogs and other people, and during walk time, everyone will gravitate toward them because they are adorable. Mariana and Marty were so attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during the sit. They maintained constant and smooth communication and provided us with all the necessary information, both about the routine and care of the dogs and about their home. We also had the opportunity to spend some time with them, and they are truly amazing human beings. Their home is beautiful and comfortable, has everything you need, and it’s in a safe and quiet neighborhood. We felt a sense of well-being and peace during our stay. We are very grateful to Mariana and Marty for giving us the opportunity to take care of Pupita and Richie, for trusting us and opening the doors of their home to us.
Monty is lovely to look after and very easy to care for. He loves the river and would chase a ball all day if you let him. There is an excellent large exercise area 5 minutes drive away or a 20 minute walk. Ellie's home is comfortable and walking distance of shops and public transport.
Michelle and DJ are the best! Their apartment is located in a very nice part of CDMX within walking distance of a number of really excellent cafes and restaurants. Just around the corner is a well-stocked supermarket with everything you need. Communication with Michelle was great and I have to say that DJ is one of the best cats I have ever taken care of. Highly recommended!
We had the absolute best time looking after Luna the dog, Tinker the cat and an array of small fish during our stay at Jane and Karl’s while they headed to Cambodia. Luna is the sweetest spaniel who made the best company, came with ample energy and gave the best cuddles. She behaved really well for us off leash so we got the opportunity to freely walk all the gorgeous local parks in the area. Tinker the cat was also a joy to look after, super low maintenance but she definitely enjoyed having company and affection. Jane was amazing to communicate with, we kept in touch with plenty of photo sharing - us sending photos of the animals and Jane sending photos of their holiday! We felt we had been well equipped with all the relevant information from Jane to set us up for success. Not to mention the delicious Cambodian coffee she brought us from their holiday! We’d not hesitate to look after Jane’s pets again, missing Luna already. Thanks 😊
