I’m one of those dog mums that , Well to be fair is really nervous about leaving my pup (( she’s always a pup even though she’s nearly 8)) with anyone.. so to find Yasmin on Facebook last year and saving her details was the best thing I have done… I read several comments and read her posts and reviews with great interest. So a couple of months ago after several messages back and forth and lots of reassurance from Yasmin we met had a walk and low and behold this weekend we had a family wedding so Yasmin’s service was required and to say that I felt so happy that my Smartie was in safe hands was brilliant! I received pics throughout the day and knowing she was having the best time as if we were with her was so reassuring. I definitely recommend and will be using Yasmin again. Thank you Yasmin you are truly amazing. 😊

Initial correspondence was Paw-fect and Yasmin is very friendly. Our dog took to her straight away. Yasmin took care of our lovely boy whilst we were away. Cannot thank her enough for looking after him for his walkies. Definitely come back for more care in the future.

Yasmin is our 2 dogs walker and they absolutely love her! We are really happy with her, she walks them weekly and she'll be pet sitting too over the summer, and hopefully every time we need to go away :-)

Yasmine has been looking after our dog Bruno since he was 8 weeks old. She built up a lovely bond with him during puppy play sessions at our house, whilst he wasn’t allowed out, and now she takes him out in group walks. It’s easy to see that this isn’t just a job for Yasmine, she genuinely loves and cares for all of the dogs she looks after. Bruno absolutely adores her. He can be a bit stubborn and slow at walking, but she’s always so patient and encouraging to get him walking. Yasmine has also done overnight dog sitting/care for Bruno too. It was so nice to go away knowing he was in safe hands and being more than well looked after. The house was immaculate when we returned. I can honestly recommend all the services. We’re so happy with Yasmine and knowing he’s being so well looked after in her care.

Yasmin is brilliant, reliable and clearly loves dogs! She’d been a great help keeping an eye on my dog who adores her!

Yaz and her partner house sat for me for just over a week whilst I was on holiday in Costa Rica. They did an amazing job of looking after my Boxer dog Twiggy, my marine fish and my chicken. Yaz took extra special care of Twiggy, baking her treats and taking her for exciting days out. In all honesty, I don’t think Twiggy wanted me to come home haha. Thank you so much 🐾

I've been using Richard, owner of Run Doggy Run since my beautiful Max was a 10 week old pup, now over 6 years. Max looks forward to his daily walks and adventures with his friends, waiting by the door as he knows when his current walker, Matt (has such enthusiasm and passion for his job) will be arriving to pick him up. Fantastic company, reliable and efficient, prompt responses to emails/texts and nothing is a problem. if I could give 10 stars I would, highly recommended and Max and I would be lost without you

Run Doggy Run is seriously the most professional, amazingly lovely dog walkers and home boarders EVER. Benji has been with Richard since he was a pup (4 years ago now) and gets walked every weekday by him. As soon as Richard arrives to collect him. he can’t wait to jump into the van with his other doggie friends and when we are away he spends weekends at richard’s home boarding - being taken on long country walks and returning to cosy up in front of the fire. I highly recommend Run Doggy Run and can’t praise them enough for being so AMAZING.

Richard is amazing with our animals! Ruby loves her pack walks and has transformed into a confident and happy dog with the Run Doggy Run crew. Our cats have the best care when we go on holiday too! Just pawfect :)

We can’t recommend Run Doggy Run enough, they have given Nell the very best care on her pack walks and during home boarding since she was a pup. She adores everybody and can’t wait to be with her carefully chosen friends. They are incredibly reliable and have never let us down. Most of all they are all just lovely people who are incredibly experienced and love the dogs like they were their own.

We are so pleased to have found such wonderful people to care for our two dogs, Reggie and Ronnie. Richard and Mat are true animal lovers and we are extremely confident that ‘the boys’ are well looked after when in their care whether it’s on their twice weekly pack walk in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside or during a homeboarding holiday. They are extremely reliable, in the five years we have been using them they have never missed a scheduled walk and will always try to accommodate a short notice request for an extra walk if they possibly can. Reggie and Ronnie recognise the van pulling up outside and their excitement and enthusiasm only confirms what we think of Run Doggy Run. We could not recommend them highly enough.

Best dog walker ever!! Rich and his team are amazing! Our little dog Jamón has been going for walks since he was 6month old and really enjoys the walks with the rest of the pack. Super easy service, we don't even need to be home, they come, pick Jamón up and of he goes! Not to say the prices are amazing!! Highly recommend Run Doggy Run for reliable and trustworthy walks for our furry love ones!

I can't recommend Run Doggy Run enough! They treat Kara, our high energy Hungarian Vizsla, like their own & she absolutely loves spending the day with the team. I can tell the team genuinely care for her & she's always happy to go out which makes it easy for me to leave her.

Run Doggy Run is THE best. Wish there were more stars! Richard clearly loves what he does and my dog can’t wait to leap into his arms to go on an adventure. She gets walked, socialised with dogs of all sizes and I get peace of mind she’s with someone who likes her and knows what they are doing (as well as a bit of peace for me!) Best dog Walker ever! Have been using Run Doggy Run for many years - my dogs love Rich! Such a reliable and friendly company who always accommodate my last minute lifestyle.

I wish I could add more stars! When we met Rich at the beginning of the year with our GSD/Husky, it was unbearable to walk her, she was reactive, barked at most things, pulled and couldn’t socialise. However, Rich is an absolute lifesaver and has turned that around! Luna can now walk with other dogs, and loves to socialise and you can just tell she is so happy in his care. I have no anxieties about leaving Luna with him and trust him 100%. Rich even recently looked after her for the week when we went away, and she had the best week of her life! I literally cannot be more thankful for the amazing human that he is, and how he interacts with the dogs. He is always striving to go above and beyond, and he’s just amazing! Louis was recently visited by Sonia and judging by how much he adored Sonia, it was a success! Louis can be very timid and anxious which means that making arrangements for him, when we’re away, can be difficult. Sonia, thank you for taking such good care of Louis and for all the cuddles and treats.

Edit 13/05/24 - we’ve just returned from a holiday and just an update to say we still think Sonia is the very best. Our cat is getting quite elderly now but we have no worries about her care. We wouldn’t use anyone else because we know she’s in such safe hands when we go away. I cannot recommend Sonia and her team highly enough. They are reliable, trustworthy and very caring. I know that when I go away I don’t have to worry about my cat because she is in safe hands. They send photos daily which is such a lovely thing to do (that’s Tetley giving a high 4 to Sonia!). You really won’t find a better service than this!

Sonia has looked after our cat Lulu when we go on holiday for nearly two years now and we're so glad we found her! It really takes the worry out of going away as we know Lulu is in the best hands. Communication is brilliant - we get updates and lots of photos every day. Lulu loves all the cuddles and attention, and I think she is always a bit disappointed when we get home! I'd recommend the Jeeves and Woofster team 100%.

As full time workers, when we moved to Abingdon we wanted to make sure our Dachshund Otto was in good hands. When we met Sonia and Poppy, we knew we'd found the right person! Otto loves going off on his walks (if only he was as excited to see us as he is when Sonia knocks on the door!). So much so that, even though I am on maternity leave, we still have Sonia come and take him out for a run around the fields with his buddies. We also love that we can see what fun he's had through her updates and photos.

Sonia has looked after our cat numerous times when we've been on holiday and she is absolutely fantastic. She really cares about the animals she looks after and emails me lots of photos and detailed message every time she visits. Tab (who is a pretty aloof cat) adores her and you can tell from the pictures that Sonia spends a lot of time on each visit fussing and playing with her as well as filling up her food and water. I can't recommend highly enough!

Sonia has been walking our dog Zia twice a week for over 6 months. From these walks she's grown from a disobedient puppy into a very well behaved 1 year old. The walks are great for her socialization and also she's happy for the rest of the day and night. Sonia is extremely reliable and professional and if there are any issues she'll always text or call. It goes without saying she loves her job and the dogs love her

Probably the best cat sitting experience I (and my cats) have ever had. Sonia and Dziugas kept in touch regularly while we were away, and were attentive to our cats' particular needs and idiosyncrasies. The cats got lots of attention and stimulation, and we appreciated the regular pictures of their visits. I felt the cats were cared for by people who really love animals - which gave me peace of mind. And when we came home, the cats seemed relaxed.

Finding someone you trust to walk and look after your dog is a big, and sometimes difficult, decision. Sonia is the perfect person to do this. When my Labradoodle, Pepper, was a puppy, Sonia helped out in a few emergency situations by coming to my house and keeping Pepper company; playing with her in the garden and making sure she was fed, watered and exercised! Having someone I could trust to do this meant a lot to me, especially as Pepper was so young. More recently, Sonia has taken Pepper on walks with her own wonderful dog, Poppy. Poppy is an incredibly sociable, gentle and obedient dog, who Pepper loves to play with. Whenever Pepper has been out walking with Sonia, I can always tell that she has had a great time - a wagging tail and an exhausted dog says it all! If you choose to trust your puppy or dog with Sonia, you won’t be disappointed. She is incredibly friendly, professional and cares very much about all the dogs who she looks after. You and your dog will be in very good hands!

We left our cat in Sonia’s very good care and we were able to have a holiday free from worry. We knew he was being very well looked after, and the photo updates were a nice addition. We will definitely be booking again and would heartily recommend their services.

Having only had a cat for a few months ourselves, we were worried about going on holiday for 2 weeks and leaving him for the first time, but after seeing the incredible reviews on the Facebook and google page and from seeing their interactions with other cats on there we were reassured he would be in safe hands. I can not recommend Sonia and the team enough, before we went they were very thorough and took the time to meet him and we were able to go through in person and write out all of his 'instructions' in a form that reassured us that he would be given the care he normally gets! Sonia thought of things that we had forgotten (like bringing a timer for lights and turning the Alexa radio on so he wouldn't get too lonely)! We were able to relax on holiday knowing he was well looked after and we looked forward to our twice daily photos and updates very much!! He seemed to bond really nicely with them and even seem disappointed when we returned!!! 😂 He learnt lots of fun tricks which he enjoys showing us even now! We will be using Jeeves and woofster for every holiday from now on without hesitation, and we are even happier booking holidays knowing he will be happy and in great company (more holidays for us)! We were looking for someone to take our boy out for a couple of walks a week during the work week and we are so glad we chose The Paw Smith gang! Katherine was more than helpful and introduced us at a meet to one of her lovely ladies Claire who takes our little man out for us and is now a firm favourite of Dobby! He absolutely loves going on his weekly adventures with Claire and has an amazing time with her and always comes back with a smile on his face! And she sends us wonderful snaps of him on her walks with him. We use The Paw Smith twice a week for Lionel and Bella and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Despite a rather wet few months the dogs are always left clean (which is a miracle since our lab will jump in any water she can find). Clare is our regular dog walker in Botley and I can’t recommend her more, our dogs aren’t the best behaved and she is so patient with them. P.S. It makes my day coming home to the little notes Clare leaves us about her adventures with them. Thankyou Katherine and Clare ☺️

Katherine has been looking after my dog, Red, regularly (twice a week) for over a year now. She's always treated Red like he's her own dog, which shows in all of Red's interactions with her as he absolutely loves her! My dog is my world, and I know Red is in good hands with her. She's 100% reliable, really friendly, and I couldn't recommend her more highly.

We came across The Paw Smith when looking for a bit of help on busy days walking our two Cardigan corgi pups. Meeting Katherine and Clare made me feel super comfortable right away. Both our dogs took to them straight away, and Clare was really receptive to hearing about each of the dog’s quirks and tendencies to make sure they were well looked after and enjoyed their walks. Six months on, we are absolutely thrilled with how Clare looks after our babies. They are always overjoyed to see her; they come back from every walk full of smiles and tail wags (and thankfully very tired)! Clare has also stayed overnight with them and done a couple daycare visits, and those have gone brilliantly as well. Recommend unreservedly!

I have met both Katherine and Sophie and they are both lovely. When I get a new dog walker for Archie and Dillon, I pay a lot of attention to how my dogs react to being walked by a particular person, how enthusiastic they are to go and walk again with that person and I can state, without any doubt, that my dogs absolutely love their walks with Pawsmith and this is a reflection on how they are treated during the walks. I can therefore say that I would recommend Pawsmith to anyone who needs a dog walking service

Katherine walks my two dogs 3 times a week for an hour. They both love her and have enjoyed their walks over the past few months. I have profound mobility issues and this is a life line that has enabled me to keep both dogs. I really like the way that Katherine walks the dogs separately without “a pack”. One of my dogs can be very anxious but I haven’t seen that at all with Katherine. Would totally recommend.

The Paw Smith came highly recommended by a friend, so imagine my delight when I heard they were expanding into Oxford! Katherine and Carly send me photos/short videos and leave a note which says how the walk has gone. My Labrador has been on 3 walks with The Paw Smith so far and it is really lovely to come home from work to a calm and well stimulated pup. Therefore, I too, can highly recommend this company … I only wish they could walk my boy every day!!

Katherine is simply amazing and we wouldn’t think of ever using anyone else. She takes such amazing care of Rae when she house sits for us, who adores spending time with her.

Our Peggy loves staying with Lorain and her lovely labs at Dog Haven Boarding! Whether it’s a weekend trip or just a daycare session, the dogs are occupied and engaged and get plenty of love and cuddles. We are so glad to have found them as it really has been like a home from home for Peggy, she even knows exactly where she’s going once we turn off at the roundabout and gets all excited in the car! You can tell Lorain really cares for the dogs and gets to know them and all their little quirks to make sure their normal routines aren't disrupted too much. We also get plenty of photo updates which really make us smile! We would recommend Dog Haven Boarding 100%!

We were away for a week, and our energetic furball Rocco had the time of his life with Lorain and his new best friend, Ronnie. Our 3-year-old Golden Retriever was truly receiving top-notch care every step of the way. Lorain is so thoughtful and kind and has really helped our dog Oscar to settle and feel at home with her and her other dogs. Lorain has looked after my rescue dog who does not warm to people easily. However, the moment he entered Dog Haven he was at ease and instantly loved Lorain (unusual for him). He had a fantastic weekend and didn’t want to come home! Lorain kept us updated with how he was getting on. It is such a lovely place for dogs and felt like a little holiday for him. Lorain and her lovely family look after our highly strung English bulldog every year when we go on our holidays. It’s a home from home for our four legged baby, she loves it. Our Lola is always well cared for and looked after during her stay. Amazing service!

Lorain has looked after my greyhound for the last couple of years and she loves it there. It’s like home from home for her and much less stressful than a traditional kennels. Highly recommend!

We have used Dog Haven Boarding on numerous occasions and it is a god send for our two little fur babies! We were not keen with putting our dogs in kennels, particularly as our little Yorkipoo is very needy, so when we found Lorain and her family offering daycare, overnight stays, including holidays in a home environment we were so pleased. We went for an initial visit to meet Lorain and to see how our dogs would enjoy the stay, and interact with Lorain’s own lovely labradors. It is a clean home, with a good sized, safe enclosed garden for the dogs to play and enjoy the outdoors. They are also taken for walks outside of the house in small groups during daycare on leads, as safety of the dogs is taken seriously. I think this is really important for routine and also provides further stimulation. Photo updates during the day gives reassurance and is a nice touch. After daycare, on collection, both our dogs appear very happy, so we know they have been well looked after whilst in daycare with Lorain and often are very keen to get back into the house when we return. We also used Dog Haven Boarding for our first holiday away since we got the dogs and we were very anxious. Lorain listened to our requirements and met all the needs for our dogs whilst we were away. So it was easy to enjoy our time away without worrying about the dogs. Again the photo and video updates really helped us to stay relaxed and not worry so much. Lorain is very approachable and has a lovely manner. She often responds at short notice and she is totally amazing with our dogs. If you are considering a home environment for daycare or whilst you are on holiday, I would highly recommend using Dog Haven Boarding!

I can't recommend Lorain highly enough. She clearly loves dogs, and they clearly love being with her - dog people will understand what this means. I always used to feel guilty going on holiday and taking my black lab to kennels. Not any more. As soon as we are near Dog Haven he knows exactly where he is and is visibly excited and happy. Loraine sends through regularly updates during the stay and I'm always happy knowing that our dog is being well cared for.

My two dogs were instantly at ease with Lorain, as was I. She has the loveliest manner with dogs, and I felt very happy to leave my boys with her. They came back happy and tired. When we went for our second visit, they could not wait to get back through her door! I am delighted I have found Lorain , and we will now be regular visitors.

Our black lab loves going twice a week and he is treated like a member of the family. We cannot recommend it highly enough. A fantastic friendly service where the wellbeing of the dog is taken very seriously. First class and much appreciated....thank you.

Rudy had a fabulous stay at Pet Whisperers hotel for 11 nights. We had regular updates, videos and pictures of our Boy, all were really appreciated! We could relax knowing that our boy was well looked after and constantly stimulated during the day, tired and comfortable during the night. We would recommend Pet Whisperers to take care of your four legged family member while you are on holiday.

Oxford Pet Whisperers are an exceptional team of caring and dedicated professionals whom I completely trust with our puppy. The heartwarming videos they share on Instagram always brighten my day, showing all the happy dogs playing and enjoying themselves. They provide a wide range of activities and enrichment experiences, and you can even book additional services like baths, tail trims, and full grooming. Amber absolutely loves her time with them and has grown so much more confident since she started attending. I would highly recommend Oxford Pet Whisperers to anyone looking to enhance their puppy’s socialisation. Or to anyone needing day care facilities due to work schedules.

Our golden retriever Ella is a regular daycare visitor and this year we tried the doggy hotel facilities for the first time. It gave us peace of mind as we knew she will be comfortable knowing all staff and environment, and she absolutely loved it, I don't think she was very impressed when we turned up to pick her up 5 days later, she wanted to carry on with the fun! We had a couple of updates on how she is getting on which was lovely to have. And you can see what your pup is up to during the days on Instagram account. Would definitely recommend this over regular kennels!

Lovely introduction. The business has an amazing concept with everything to make the dogs and the owners happy. So much space and all is clean and safe. Even the air gets filtered. My dog didn't want to come with me home after 30 minutes there.

once again Oxford pet whisperer have outdone themselves my little baby Frenchie had the time of his life actually came back with some extra manners. They also managed to squeeze me in a short note as I had to go away thank you very much for everything you’ve done.

We booked our dog in for a puppy groom last year. We looked online and saw that it was going to cost £10 but were surprised by hidden charges and ended up paying around £35-£40. The female groomer was not friendly towards our dog and did not even ask for his name, then was rude when we arrived back a few minutes late to collect him. He did not look well groomed and certainly did not look happy in his post groom photo (see pic). Upon returning home we found out why as the groomer had cut him under the eye and did not tell us. It looked like she had just washed the wound and covered it up. Luckily it did not become infected. We were very displeased and frankly disgusted with the service but due to other factors in life getting in the way at the time we never reached out to Oxford Pet Whisperers, hence the late review. We would certainly not return nor recommend their services to anyone else.

From the start, they have been very accommodating, professional and so friendly! We love the amount of time our pup gets to play and socialise with her friends as well as the first week report card and ongoing photos we can see on social media during her visits! A really well-run and dog centric business who we will be sure to continue to use 👍🏻

All I can say is that this company provides a fantastic service - my 16 week Frenchie had the time of his life playing and mixing with the other dog and staff. thanks for all the support and kindness you gave to my little boy.

Thank you so much for another fabulous groom on Friday. The family commented on how silky soft his coat was and he smelt fabulous. Teddy is so happy at OPW he goes off happily and comes home content and in need of a good long snooze. Having a bath/groom at OPW is a must, especially if the children/grandchildren are home for the weekend as Teddy looks and smells great. Roll on his Christmas groom . Couldn’t recommend highly enough! Jamie, Natalie and the team are amazing. I’ve been sending my dog Cooper to oxford pet whisperers for a year and a half now since he was a puppy and I wouldn’t dream of using any other daycare/dog walking service. They are experts in their field and take such good care of Cooper. He comes home tired out for the evening after a day at daycare and as soon as I turn the corner in to the car park to drop him off, he gets so excited! The pick up and play service is great too as it allows me to be a lot more flexible with work! The daily updates on Instagram are fantastic as it allows you to see what your dogs been getting up to in the day. Couldn’t give a more glowing review ⭐️

Trinabels recently looked after my two cats for 9 days while I was away & Katrina was brilliant, they will be my first call when I need a cat sitter again. One of my cats is a little nervous & I was worried how she would cope but Katrina patiently won her trust over the initial days. Then while I was away my worst fear happened & she injured herself for the first time but Katrina was amazing, taking her to the vets, making sure she had her medicine & giving her the fuss & reassurance she needed, as well as letting me know how she was getting on until I could get back. Finding the right person to look after your pets can be really tough so to find Trinabels & have had such a positive experience despite the circumstances has been fantastic. Thank you

Katrina has been fantastic car sitting during our honeymoon and I’m super happy to recommend Trinabels. Pip is a 2,5 year old indoor rescue cat and despite living with us for 2 years is still super anxious meeting new people, changes to her routine and loud noises such as the doorbell or someone shouting. We tried a weekend in a cattery / cat prison last year and she really didn’t enjoy it and hardly ate during the days she was there. Pips nervousness and anxiety have made it so hard for us to go away and see friends and family since we adopted her. Planning our honeymoon has been super hard because we were away for just over 2 weeks and we knew this was too much of an ask to hope friends and family could commit to regular visits. We were recommended Katrina and Trinabels after hearing someone else’s good experience. I was super cautious but Katrina was so understanding and came over one day to meet us and meet Pip. Pip didn’t hide under the bed which was a huge relief but she was quite shy and kept her distance. We talked to Katrina quite a few times before making a final decision just to understand the options available and what sort of things Katrina would need to know All of this took time but we were both very grateful and felt really reassured how nothing phases Katrina and how every part of Pip’s daily plan was not a problem. We had a mixture of Katrina coming in the morning, or evening or staying overnight and doing both to fit in with our friends and family and Katrina came over just before we left to make sure everything was clear. Katrina was great when we were away sharing daily updates with us on WhatsApp together with pictures showing how Pip was becoming less and less shy and more and more playful. The daily updates were perfect and really relaxed us and allowed us to enjoy our honeymoon and when we go away next time, we know we’ve a trusted friend to take care of Pip in her own home. I was looking for someone to come and stay over and look after my cats Stumpz and Zuzu while I was away, and not having much luck. I managed to find a few people that would kindly come and feed them for me but If I am away for more than one night then I much prefer for someone to stay overnight and hang out with my sociable little buddies. Anyway, I stumbled across Katrina and from the minute she came round to meet them, my search was over. She stayed for three nights looking after them. She checked in with me every day giving me updates on their antics and providing photos for me. She put my mind at rest from the off. I was so pleased that I have booked her in again for my next trip and she is now my first port of call whenever I am going away. Her rates were more than reasonable and the service that she provides is nothing short of first class! For total peace of mind when trusting someone with your furry friends, then I can thoroughly recommend Trinabels.

Katrina did such a wonderful job looking after our cat Socks. He totally loved her! I thought he might take a few days to warm up as he's very shy. But by the second day he was giving her the belly asking for cuddles! This was such a relief as I was quite anxious leaving Socks. But Katrina sent us updates and photos which help to put our minds at ease. She is attentive and truly loves animals. I would definitely recommend her.

I wouldn't trust my pets with anyone else. I'm the proud owner of 3 dogs, 3 lizards, 2 ferrets and a cat, and I've found Katrina and Annabel to be by far the best at caring for them when I can't. It was our first time using this pet service and after being using others in the past, I can say that the experience has been really positive. They are really professional, keeping you posted in each visit and sharing pictures, what makes you feel more relaxed when you are so far from home. These updates gave us a sense of calm and attention to our pets each day and not the typical rush from visit to visit. One of our cats is getting older and she needs special attention for the litter and Katrina dealt with it so well that no mess when we arrived home. It has been a pleasure and we will use their services in future occasions. Highly recommended.

Katrina has been absolutely amazing from day 1 and we totally trust her. She’s kept Remi several times and has always given us updates, sent photos.. he loves her, and still hates everyone else ! Professional reliable and animal crazy loving ladies .Finding some one who you trust with your animals is hard to come by this day and age . My Yorkshire Terrier is a troublesome dog . These wonderful ladies work their magic with her . My Dog is always happy and pleased to see them and comes home after her lovely walks calm and ready for a snooze . They provide a top notch service to us. I can’t recommend them enough .

I have known Amanda for several years as she used to occasionally look after our dog who we sadly lost last summer. We now have a rescue spaniel who hadn't been socialised sufficiently and could be anxious around other dogs. After only a handful of sessions in their wonderful private paddock, we can see Willow's confidence improving. Amanda and her team provide a safe and caring environment for our much loved pets and I would have no hesitation in recommending their services.

I’ve been absolutely delighted with Amanda and her team, having recently stopped working from home and needing support with my German Shorthaired Pointer during the day. Amanda shows the utmost professionalism - she is highly experienced and also clearly loves what she does and does an excellent job. I love getting the photo updates and am convinced my dog is in the best hands. I was worried about leaving her but any anxiety dissipated straight away. We are very lucky and I cannot recommend SOPS highly enough.

Fantastic, friendly and caring service from South Oxon Pet Services. Amanda recently looked after our 3 cats, coming in twice a day to ensure they had everything they needed and keeping them busy with cat treat puzzles and other games. I always worry about leaving the cats but Amanda kept us reassured with plenty of photos and videos. Highly recommend!

I have used the boarding services of South Oxon Pet Services for a number of years now for my two Working Cocker Spaniels. It is great to see the daily photos of my dogs out on their walks while my wife and I are on holiday or when South Oxon Pet Services have them for the day. I can highly recommend their services and have total faith my dogs are in good hands.

I first used SOPS 8 years ago for my Cockapoo Cracker. I was anxious about leaving him for the first time but he had a wonderful stay . It was lovely to see daily photos of him on Facebook while I was away. Amanda and Tony are friendly and easy to get on with and provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment for the animals they look after. Cracker and I moved away to Wales a few years ago but I recently used their services again. Cracker made himself at home instantly as if he’d never been away and on my return, apart from being delighted to see me of course, he was relaxed and clearly had a wonderful holiday too. Thank you SOPS. I highly recommend their services to anyone.

Saying THANK YOU is not enough for the service Amanda and Tony provides. We were going away for ten days for the first time since we have adopted Ruby more than two years ago. She is a sensitive and stressed senior girl around anyone new. Amanda reassured us prior our departure that everything will be fine and provided regular updates with pictures and videos through our stay. Ruby seemed to get used to with Amanda and Tony quickly, which demonstrates how caring and loving they are. When we have returned Ruby didn't seemed stressed and she look well looked after and happy. After all Amanda gave Ruby her favorite treats :). They have also ensured that our bins were moved in and out of the property for collection, and even potted up plant plugs when they were delivered while we were away and saved all the plants. I will definitely use South Oxon Pet Service again and will recommend anyone looking for affordable and the best pet service they can have by miles. Thank you both!

Having never used a pet sitting service before I wasn’t really sure what to expect but Amanda exceeded my expectations. Her service was personalised and the care she gave for our cat Ozzi was exceptional. He injured his paw which required stitches just before we went on holiday. This meant he was housebound for a week which he is not used to and is a timid cat by nature. She visited twice daily and administered his antibiotics and took him for his check up at the vets and kept us updated with her fantastic photos and gave us the reassurance we needed that he was in good hands. We returned from our 2 week holiday to a very contented cat and his paw has healed beautifully. I highly recommend South Oxon Pet Services and would not hesitate to use them again. 🐈‍⬛🥰

Amanda has looked after willow since she was 4 months old ,she was recommended by a friend ,willow was a very nervous puppy when we got her and was literally scared of everything and everyone willow was so bad biting all the time and not just puppy biting really biting that we very nearly got rid of her ,Amanda was so good and patient with willow and treated her like she was her dog even took her home to play with her dogs Now 2 years later willow is a different dog so calm cuddly and very loving although she still has some nervoness in her until she trust you then she's your best friend Amanda has been amazing for willow she goes out everyday with Amanda for walks and boards at her house when we go away willow knows when the door bell rings it's Amanda and looks forward to seeing her and her walks if it wasn't for Amanda and all her help and training willow would not be with us now would definitely recommend Amanda and south oxon pet services 100%

Amanda took great care of our cat whilst we were on holiday. It was so much easier leaving him at home knowing he would have visits and be fussed over, than taking him to a cattery. It was wonderful to see pictures of him on Facebook and Amanda kept in touch to let us know how he was getting on so we didn't need to worry! We came back to a very happy cat (we didn't even have the usual post holiday sulk, either!!). Would very much recommend to anyone looking for someone to look after their fur-baby whilst they're away!

Jo is just the best! Our dog loves coming to her - in fact she starts to whine excitedly as soon as we turn off the roundabout! It's because Jo is a genuine dog person - always putting the welfare of the dogs first, careful about how she introduces them to other dogs, understanding their little foibles and needs and all in a safe environment that satisfies even the most protective owner (my husband!!). Cannot recommend her highly enough.

Jo at Cool Canines has been the most amazing dog sitter we have known. We have been taking our fur baby to her for over 5 years and wouldnt dream of putting her with any one else. Jo is welcoming and understands dogs and has always given us advice and her observations as required, things that we may have missed. Would we recommend her, most definitely!!! We were in a tough situation while visiting Oxford and more than 15 dog sitters turned us down. Although Jo was precautious taking a new dog on such short notice, she was really helpful and understanding. Not only that, but our dog is on a raw diet and sitters sometimes struggle with that. Jo was very familiar with a raw diet, even fed our dog from her food stock at no extra cost for us. It is clear that the person behind this business really cares about dogs. I can't recommend her enough and I will always use her services if I'm visiting that area.

Not even sure she deserves one star. I was ignored (read my message) and when I replied with hello and a ? I was greeted with a message saying I was rude and how she was busy. I then proceeded to apologise and say that’s not how it meant to come across she proceeded to still call me rude and did this multiple times treating me like I was stupid at multiple points. I understand the message I sent may have come across wrong but when I apologised multiple times tried to explain what I meant etc and was just given abuse back I’m not gunna stand for that. Jo is exactly the kind of dog sitter I was hoping to find. I've got a very anxious sighthound (separation anxiety especially) who can be reactive with certain dogs. Jo took time to build a relationship between herself and her dogs and my dog. Jo absolutely puts your dog before anything, keeps you up to date and obviously has the utmost love and adoration for all dogs. I can't thank her enough for all the support she's given to us and our pooch!

Our Labrador absolutely loves going to Cool Canine. Jo genuinely bonds with each dog individually, personalises care for them and looks after them with utmost attention to details. Our lab comes back blissfully exhausted after spending a day filled with the right balance of play, enrichment activities and downtime. We had tried other local day cares, however they found our puppy to be 'over exuberant' and a 'little too full of beans' to handle. We then found Cool Canine, where Jo welcomed him with affection and tailored the days for his personality. Highly recommended!

Jo helped me and my dog out of a difficult situation yesterday. It wasn't ideal because it was her first time in doggy day care but Jo looked after her really well and she came home tired. I can't thank her enough for stepping in to help and I knew Otter was safe and being loved.

Jo and her team are absolutely fantastic; we put our little dachshund into daycare after we were recommended them from a friend from puppy class, and when lockdown seemed to be having a negative impact on her socialisation. Our dog was becoming more and more reactive to other dogs and because we couldn’t take her to classes any longer or be close to many other dogs due to social distancing, we were at a loss as to what to do to help. Thankfully Jo was incredibly understanding and helped our dog come out of her shell a whole lot. She’s really great at making sure all the dogs are well “matched up” so they have lots of positive experiences playing with one another and don’t become overwhelmed or bully one another. It’s so important when you’re working with a scared/reactive dog - otherwise daycare can apparently make things worse! I love that they can pick up and drop off the puppers too, such a helpful service to offer, it makes things really easy for us. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Our lovely Molly has grown in confidence over the years she has been walking with Claire and her brilliant team. Perfect example of a personal service. The team are great, our pup gets a really good walk (often for much longer than we expect). They accommodate us last minute when needed for busy days at work. My only worry is he likes them more than us :)

We have used outward hounds for nearly a year now Claire and the team are extremely professional give great communication and are good value for money I would highly recommend their services.

We took our 2 cavachons here for 12 days, I am honestly so happy with the care from this place. We asked for updates and they would reply and send updates and pictures along side. Our boy was overweight and we asked for suggestions and if they could try and get him to loose some weight, he lost 1kg being here and we now have a routine and he has since lost another 1kg being with us at home, we couldn't be happier with him. I could not recommend Honeybottom more! Both ladies on the reception and phones are lovely too! Which really helps. Thanks again, see you guys in June! X

The communication levels are very good, and the team have all been really friendly. Most importantly our dog always comes home after a visit in a really positive mood and is always tired the next day which is a clear sign he has had plenty of exercise.

Our dog has been coming to Honeybottom for regular daycare and occasional overnight stays since he was 15 weeks old and he absolutely loves it here. He can't wait to go in when we arrive, spends the day playing with his friends and comes home happy and very tired! Phil and the team are fantastic and really understand and care about each dog. It's very reassuring knowing your dog is so well looked after. All dogs can be catered for, whether they are super sociable or more on the nervous side and as first time dog owners we have really appreciated all Phil's advice over the last year or so. We wouldn't want to send our dog anywhere else and would highly recommend!

Our dog Max spent 8 nights at Honeybottom kennels. He went there based on these reviews of which, the latest ones looked good. Unfortunately ours was a different story. Max has been in kennels many times before, mainly in Yorkshire before we moved. He always came out happy to see us but more importantly he came out healthy and clean. Max was picked up by our son while we were still travelling home. The first thing we noticed was the smell, he stank. He’s a very bouncy, happy dog and after the initial excitement of seeing us he slumped. It was then we noticed how poorly he looked. His lower eye lids had dropped to the extent that he looked like a blood hound. It was also evident that, apart from the fact he smelled awful, he’d lost a lot of weight. When we dropped him of we were asked how much he ate. I explained exactly his morning and evening meals. He’s quite a large dog so one can isn’t enough. He’s also active all day as he comes to work with me. The fact that he lost weight surprised me as we were told that he would be walked twice a day which means he should actually have put on weight had he been fed correctly. We contacted Phil and explained our concerns. As per his weight loss he explained that on arrival his weight was 48kg and on departure a little over 46kg. That nearly a 2 kg weight loss in just over a week. He apparently saw no problem with this. As for his listlessness he explained that some dogs don’t take well to being left at kennels. I’ve worked out that over the six years we’ve had max he would have been in kennels well over 10 times. He’s never had a problem before. It took two days until he was back to his normal self. I’m sure the owners response will claim that we are unhappy that we were charged for 9 nights and he was only there for 8 nights which prompted this 1 star review. That isn’t the case as after he explained their terms and conditions I fully understand the charge and it’s only £19.50. Maybe we were unlucky as a lot of people have given good reviews but I will never leave a dog in their care again.

We were worried as this was our dog’s first time in Kennelly but the staff were great and instantly gave us confidence. A kennel that clearly cares about dogs and not just making a profit! Clean, caring and great value.

I cannot express how excellent this company is! I have been using them for a few weeks now and they have provided myself with peace of mind that my dog is being well looked after during the day. He is able to socialise with other dogs and exercise, play and have an incredible time. Team are always willing to answer my silly calls and emails with questions. It is a blessing to have them so close to us. I would recommend AND HAVE to all the dog owners I know. No faults. Safe and friendly environment where they know your dog personally... so much so that my Winston because a bouncy and excited whenever we get close to the building. All my dogs love it here - even the very nervous one. The Staff go out of their way to make sure the dogs are all happy and healthy whilst in their care. I've been using these kennels for several years and it's great to see all the updating that is being done - new Kennel blocks are great and the new run layout means that all the dogs have plenty of space when outside. Can't praise the Staff and Management enough. Great new kennel blocks mean all kennels have dedicated runs - so dogs get much more run time (as well as their walks)

We used Honeybottom kennels for the first time recently. We picked up our Goldendoodle this morning after her first week there while we were on a holiday abroad, and she has come back very happy and relaxed and there were no issues at all. Very quick & easy drop-off and pick-up and great value. Will definitely be back, and we recommend 👍 Thank you Honeybottom Kennels!
