We were away for 2 nights and had Irina and her sister stay over and keep our dogs company. Everything seemed to go ok but we did not receive much communication and only 1 photo - so we don’t really know how the dogs interacted with them. They also left early in the morning and did not let us know at the time - we would have liked to know when they left for us to plan accordingly. Our dogs are easy and laid back, but they need some patting and tlc to help with stress with us being away. They seemed really tired when we got back. We have not experienced this before with pet sitters. Besides this, we know our dogs were looked after and our house was fine

Tracy has been pet sitting my cats for a while now, maybe 2 years(?), over which she has developed a good relationship with them all!! She has a lot of availability and she has reasonable rates. She does a great job making sure they are all well attended while we are out. It is hard leaving them since they are older and have some medicines they need- she takes care of it all. Really great to have Tracy taking care of our fur babies!
Tracy is remarkable. She has a gift for connecting with animals and is loving, kind and a best friend to my 86 lb shaggy pup! I get nervous leaving my two cats because we are so attached but I would not trust anyone other than Tracy to care for them when I go away! They are not sociable cats but love Tracy and get obviously excited when they hear her voice, and I believe that that really says something about her as a person and animal lover! She has been available to cat-sit very last minute and is willing to do as many visits per day as my babies need. She sends daily pictures and updates. Tracy is very accommodating and you can tell she genuinely cares about both the pets’ and the owners’ needs. Highly recommend Tracy’s services whether for daily visits or occasional visits!!!

The folks from The Puppy Butler are fantastic! This was the first time we left our 2 young cats at home to go away on a vacation — and The Puppy Butler made us feel completely at ease & that our kitties were in the best of hands. They sent us twice-a-day detailed updates with adorable photos & videos (they even played with the cats and kept them so entertained!). They fed the cats just like we described, perfectly cleaned out the litter boxes, and the apartment was spotless. I’ve faithfully and exclusively used The Puppy Butler for walks, sitting, and overnight boarding for a while now, and have recently just started using them for their new active offleash playtime sessions as well. I so look forward to receiving the adorable photos and videos they send me each day, as it’s such a delight seeing my little chunky furball running around free in nature on their beautiful lawns. Perhaps the most impressive thing of all is that with their expertise, they have successfully managed to somehow get my extra-stubborn bulldog actually excited and engaged for a full hour of energetic playtime each day (although it does result in some serious snoring when he’s taking his post-playtime doggy nap…). Mark and his team are the absolute best! Mark reached out to me within 30 min of me sending a message on the website inquiring about their business. He quickly set up a meet and greet visit, took very detailed notes during the consultation and spent almost an hour getting to know our kitty. We then met each individual sitter before our trip and they also took detailed notes. All our sitters are amazing! You can tell they truly love animals and have passion for the work. They accommodated us on a short notice, took very good care of our cat and sent picture updates on each visit. They also did a fantastic job cleaning up accidents and updated me on my cat’s mood and health. The price for a 30 min visit is very good. Overall, my husband and I are so happy we found Mark! Your pet and your house will be in excellent hands.
We've been using Sweet Retreat for two years since moving to the area, and we are really pleased with Mark and Arlene's loving and dependable pet sitting service. I have used Sweet Retreat Pet Sitting Service for approximately 5 years. I have three large dogs. They are very reliable and dependable. I work a complicated schedule, including weekends and holidays, but they have always been able to cover my needs. It is most Susan and Steve who take care of my fur babies, but if they aren't available Mark will cover them himself.

I cannot say enough good things about this place!!! We no longer live in the area and we still bring our dog to board here whenever we are away. Our puppy was incredibly nervous around people when we first got her. Instead of turning her away the staff took the time to sit with her and give her time to warm up. Now she loves it there and is comfortable with the staff. The hours are amazing and the price is the best around. It is family owned and they really get to know you and your pet. They always answer the phone or call you right back. Highly recommend!
Wonderful experience, first time boarding my pups while on vacation. They were there Saturday to Saturday, three English Bulldogs, one with visual impairment and incontinent issues. I felt at ease while on vacation knowing they were safe and well taken care of. They shared an area and were kept together, fed regularly and were out to relieve them self. I would recommend this business. The owner has a heart of gold and you can always find her on the premises, hands on taking care of the dogs.
They are wonderful! My dog loves going and always comes home exhausted from playing with his friends. They love them and take great care of them! Each room feels like home with couches, beds, TV's.

My daughter has a covid dog. Meaning he is not socialized. We were hesitant to take him, but we needed to board him. When we bought him in the knowledge & comfort of everyone working there, it made us feel at it ease. They helped calm our dog down & were able to take him with no problems. I recently used Stay & Play Pet resort to take care of my 10 months old kitten Ralphie when I was going out of town on vacation. I am so happy I chose this "resort" for my furbaby. The entire staff is very caring and took great care of my kitten. He got his own room and the staff visited him throughout the day to ensure he was well cared for and for some attention. I called daily to check on him and everyone was very kind and gave updates on how Ralphie's day was going. I am definitely going to reserve a stay for all of my vacations because it gave me such peace of mind knowing my lil furbaby was happy and in good hands. I love Furry Buddies! Our two whippet dogs had the best team of walkers: Tracey, Corbey, Brian, and Carol Ann! Each walker treated our pups with kindness, gave them treats and toys, and absolutely left an impression. The dogs would wag their tails at the front door when a furry buddy walker was at the door! Truly excellent service, always on time, and reliable, and great value. I always felt comfortable and trusted the walkers. Very much recommend their services.
I used Furry Buddies for around 7-8 years. Everyone I met was kind, caring and extremely reliable. They communicated well and if one of the staff was planning a day off and they provided a replacement. I felt so comfortable and relieved knowing they were with my dog,Lexi. They would call or text me if they noticed anything different about her. Their daily notes were great and when I had to say goodbye to her at 15 years old I received cards and beautiful gift from her walker amd the owner made a donation in her memory to a local rescue. This is the best organization to help you care for your pet. It is a great price for what they do. Much more than just a “walk” they provide a loving - compassionate reliable service. The owner is highly insulting and harasses her customers. She called twenty times just to confirm two visits. The subcontractor agreed to meet after the visits were completed and then declined. After all this, the owner wanted to charge extra.

We love Pamper and play! We have used their service for walking our dog and for housesitting. In both cases we found Liz and her team to be reliable, responsible and loving toward our dog. I also love how we can book a dog walk once in a while when we realize we're going to be gone for a long day. Liz is as happy and responsive to do a oner-off walk as to be coming regularly. The folks that housesit for P&P are wonderful. (TJ is great!_ I can tell they really bond with our dog. I highly recommend Pamper & Play. You won't regret it!

Very professional. We had Liz take care of our 2 dogs and 4 cats, in our own home, while away for our summer vacation in Myrtle Beach. They and we loved her!!! She stopped by 3x a day to make sure our furry family members were happy and healthy. Liz even went the extra mile of vacuuming to make sure we didn't come home to extra fluffy carpet due to summer shedding. She loved the animals as if they were her own, and spoiled them as if so. I think they were more upset to see Liz go then us when we left for vacation lol. She also kept us updated daily with how everybody was doing. They didn't seem to miss us one bit 😍
I have two German Shepherds and was dog sitting for a friend when I had a family emergency. I was needed at the hospital ASAP. I was nervous about these dogs being together and I needed someone fast that could handle the job. I had heard about Liz from a friend. I can't express my gratitude enough. She showed up as quickly as she could. She walked them, fed them, managed to have them all tuckered out by the time I got home (not an easy task) AND all three of them were snuggling on the same bed. As far as my experience goes, Liz is a miracle worker! I will definitely be relying on her services from now on.

We love Howls and Meows! Colleen takes care of Harper like she’s one of her own. Harper starts to bark as soon as she’s pulling in the driveway and never has any hesitation when we leave. Colleen is responsive, sends us pics/videos and has a great Instagram account where we see can what’s happening with our pup while we’re away. Best thing is that Harper always has a friend at Howls and Meows like Squeegie and Biggie Paws :-)
We were initially looking for a place to bring our puppy for overnight boarding that didn't seem like 'doggie jail', and we have been so happy with Howls and Meows! Our crazy dog is definitely more comfortable in their home-like environment than she would be in a kennel. The pricing makes sense, and the business owner has consistently taken great care of our girl when we are out of town. Their flexibility for boarding, overnight in-home sitting, and ability to care for our cats when needed makes it an easy choice!
I have two cats Laverne and Shirley. Colleen is absolutely fantastic! She is always available and very professional. Whenever she is pet sitting she always texts me videos and pictures. She also lets me know how my girls are doing. My one cat Vern is very shy and hides when anyone comes over. Colleen was able to build a relationship with Vern so that she is comfortable. My girls love her! I highly recommend using Colleen and her company for your pet sitting needs!

Colleen is wonderful with our dog, Bruce! He’s a 2 year old lab mix who is full of energy and needs plenty of play time. He gets so excited the minute we pull up to her house- he loves going there! Best of all, Colleen has been such a help as we recently found out Bruce has epilepsy. She was right there with us sending suggestions and advice from her years of experience with similar dogs. She’s one of the few people we feel comfortable caring for him when we are away. I know she monitors his medicine schedule and makes sure he’s comfortable in a large crate in case he has a seizure at night. She really goes above and beyond for her clients. You can tell she cares for the animals as if they were her own pets!
Colleen and her business has been such an absolute blessing to our family since we brought our puppy home two months ago. As my father in law says, "She's like the Mary Poppins of dog walkers!" Colleen radiates positivity and kindness and I think she adores our puppy just as much as he loves her. Not only is Colleen always dependable she reliable, she has wonderful communication in updates for our puppy, goes above and beyond by setting up puppy playdates, and has even helped out with little things around the house while she's over (bringing up trashcans, cleaning up after the cat--- she's simply amazing). A couple weeks ago we had a family medical emergency. Colleen was so compassionate and incredible. She came back after her normal hours, packed up our puppy and his things, and boarded him at her place for a few days while we dealt with our emergency. Never did she ask for specifics on when I would be picking up our dog, or bog us and down with questions and demands. We just felt understanding and care from her, and it was such a relief knowing our puppy was in the best hands and we didn't need to worry about a thing. She even sent cute little photo updates on our puppy that were a silver lining in a otherwise very bad time for us! We are so beyond happy with Howls & Meows and can't recommend them enough. Give it a shot and see just how quickly Colleen becomes more than just a dog walker, but a part of your family!
We found Colleen through a Google search, gave her a call, and based on her knowledge, experience, and confidence, we decided to try it out. We went and met with her, saw her home and yard, and were reassured this would be much better than leaving our puppy at a kennel. We were right. She's great, a pack leader so our dog is always safe, and just a nice person. Her rates are reasonable and our dog always comes home happy and tired.
Colleen has gone above and beyond taking care of our Frenchie while we were away. She truly treats these dogs as if they were her own. This was our first time leaving our pup and she checked in everyday, communicated about necessary things, and just gave our dog so much love. Can’t recommend her enough!!

Colleen is great. She's really in tune with reading dog body language and genuinely loves dogs. She will set up a meet and greet with your dog and hers to make sure everyone will get along. I ended up really appreciating this part, as it made me feel a lot better about leaving my 10 month old puppy for a week. My puppy was actually excited to be dropped off afterwards, because she was excited to play with her new friend Squeegee. She was really responsive and the rates were reasonable. I would definitely take my dog here again.
Rosie is absolutely wonderful! She is not only reliable but also incredibly loving towards our dog. Rosie kept our dog overnight. Our dog can be nervous, especially around new people, but she warmed immediately to Rosie during our meet and greet time. In less than ten minutes my dog was sitting next to her getting her ears rubbed! Rosie was also careful to introduce our dog to her other boarders one at a time so that she could be sure that animals had good interaction and our dog was not overwhelmed. We will definitely place our pup in Rosie’s care again when needed!
Rosie has been caring for my 3 fur babies for a couple years now and always pampers my pooches to the point they don’t want to leave! I feel so very comfortable leaving my dogs with her and she always accommodates me the best she can (especially last minute). When I pick up the dogs, they honestly act as though they don’t want to leave. That is a true sign that they are loved and cared for by Rosie. I highly recommend her!
Rosie has been a phenomenal find! Our dog (3 year old goldendoodle) loves to stay with her in her home when we are busy or on vacation. Rosie is the best! My dog loves her daycare days to the point where it's almost impossible to get her in the car when I come to pick her up, even after a full day of playing. She always comes home happy and tired, and Rosie is so sweet with her. I can't recommend her and Main Line Dog Care enough!
We've boarded our 10 year old Havepoo Daisy with Rosie several times in the last year. Each time has been a very good experience for both Daisy and us. Rosie is incredible with our pup, Hobie. She is super flexible & she always sends photo updates so we can see how happy he is with his other fur friends. We are so lucky to have her! Highly recommend.
I wish I could give her more stars if I could! I was so lucky to have found Rosie back in 2020. I rescued my dog Winston in 2020 and was a little nervous finding care for him because he was quite reactive. Big dog boarding facilities were just too overwhelming for him. The one facility we tried, he would book it out the door as soon as you picked him up, just trying to get out asap! Now at Rosies, he runs right up to the door so excited to go in! She welcomes these dogs into her home like they are her own. She's so great with sending photos and the photos I receive always put a smile on my face knowing he has dog friends to hang out with, couches and beds to snuggle up on, and a big backyard to play in. It's so much more personal and home-like than a big boarding facility. As for the negative review, I would fully expect to pay for anything Winston might have destroyed of hers. This is her home and you're taking your dog there knowing that. At the end of the day, dogs are dogs. Your dog could have never chewed anything up in it's life and then just decides one day to chew something! As a millennial woman with no children, my dog is my child. He is my life. And I trust Rosie with him 100%! <3
We are so lucky we found Rosie! She cares for our 6 year old labradoodle Quincy like we do in our own home. She spoils him with daily walks and visits to the dog park. She makes our time away care free knowing he is with her. She sends pictures and updates and puts us at ease. She's a real dog lover! Quincy is the lucky one!!! Thanks Rosie!
Hi - I recently traveled to Europe for a week and Rosie watched my 2 Chesapeakes and did an amazing job. One of my dogs is epileptic and Rosie was great about giving him all his medications. I will definitely be using Main Line Dog Care again.
I literally wish I could give Paws and Claws 10 stars. We are incredibly lucky to be able to work with a kind, thorough, hard-working team of walkers and sitters. Our pup, Delilah, can take a while to warm up to new people (to say the least!), but Stephanie, Kelly, Grady, Clio, Traci, and Grace are incredibly understanding and patient with her. My favorite part is reading about the highlights of Delilah’s walks as well as which of our 4 cats make a guest appearance 😂 The communication has always been crystal-clear and the booking process is incredibly easy. Most recently we used the house sitting service over Christmas and the updates were just as jolly as our holiday! Thank you, thank you, P&C!
Philly paws & claws took great care of my dog while I was on vacation. They even sent me pictures of my dog daily. My dog looked very happy in every photo. They took my dog on many walks & gave him the attention he needed. Highly recommend this company for all of your dog needs.
We had Paws and Claws do in-home visits once a day for our kitty, Ziggy, while we were away for the holidays. They were fantastic! Stephanie and her team are so convenient and professional! In addition to taking such good care of Ziggy, they also sent us daily updates with pictures to let us know how he was doing. Highly recommend!
I've been using Philly Paws Claws for years for drop in visits for my iguana, dog boarding, dog taxi, and a couple walks. They're consistently A+ service, sending pictures of your pet, on time, easy to schedule with, and just fabulous all the way around. They're a bit more expensive than some but the reliability and quality is awesome. The taxi service is great to combine with boarding because then you don't have to do drop offs or pick ups when you're busy trying to get out of town or arriving back after hours. Stephanie and her team at PP&C have provided incredible care for our puppy since we discovered her services earlier in the summer. Our pup goes to daycare a couple of times a week at Stephanie's residence and has been boarded with her for a long weekend as well. We also tried their grooming services, which exceeded my expectations. I've not had the opportunity to meet all of her staff, but they are diligent about sending photo updates with each service so that we can see our pup going on a walk or playing with his doggy friends. Our pup is always excited to go to daycare and comes home appropriately calm instead of being wired or overstimulated (which we appreciate!). I highly recommend PP&C for anyone's pet care needs!
Paws and Claws is hands down our favorite dog sitting services in Philly! Our dog always come back so happy, and not stressed out at all!
In early August I got the opportunity to help Philly's Paws & Claws out on the 'Dog Day of Summer'. I have to give credit where credit is due, All of the employees were beyond helpful as well as very cautious, caring, and friendly with all the wonderful fur faces that we saw! From what I experienced, this team is all about the hard work and communication but you can tell they do it all for the love of the animals. Lovely to see such a wonderful team of people offering amazing and helpful services to the public. In the future if I were to need service, I would trust them with all of my animals! :)
They have been so great watching my dog. He can be a little needy and high energy but he has so much fun when he gets to go to daycare and he has the biggest smile on his face when he gets home. They were also super great an flexible when my flight got canceled and I needed them to keep my dog another day!
We are so happy with the care and attention our pup, Ava, received at her long weekend stay with PPC. They kept us updated with pictures and texts about how she was doing. Would 10/10 recommend using their services!! Our girl clearly got a lot of TLC while she was there and came home happy and healthy!
My Golden Doodle, Douglas, is always so well taken care of and happy with this team. They've cared for him numerous times, and each time he comes back to use happy and tired! They are very communicative and clearly love all kinds of animals. I will continue to use them and highly recommend.

LeeAnn and Karen are awesome. We have a reactive German Shepard and this is the only place that he likes going to and we feel comfortable leaving Jimmy for prolonged time. Truly, the people here care about dogs and not just in it for the $. Would recommend to everyone!
While I am not big in writing reviews, and this is quite possibly my first ever - I felt the need after Leann went out of her way to accommodate and help out. While traveling in the area from up North, I had lined up a sitter for a a few hours a day over the course of two days for my 6 month old Malinois. After the sitter plans fell through I took to google to find a local kennel with a hope and a prayer. And Leann made that prayer come true. Extremely pleasant on the phone and very welcoming - she said to come on in and her staff would help out. Dropping Kacey off, Karen instantly met me and was extremely inviting and energetically pleasant. Karen took me to were Kacey was going to be housed for a few hours and I took note on how clean the entire place was. It wouldn’t surprise me if my Kacey - being in a new environment for the very first time - was a disruption to their normal operating schedule - but they never let on. This place checks all the boxes - Professional, Friendly, Experienced and a pleasure to deal with.
I am so thankful Nightwatch Kennel was recommended to me for my Bernese Mountain Dog, Lucky. I don't have to board him very often, but when I do it is such a relief to know he is in good hands. Lucky is always happy when we arrive at Nightwatch and when I pick him up it is always clear he has been well taken care of. Leanne and her staff are professional and knowledgeable, and they show real care for the dogs who stay there. Thank you!

We love nightwatch! We were referred by a friend. They hire professional staff, they take the dogs out appropriately, and are so easy to work with. The only down side is everyone loves them so much that they book up fast, so you have to book several months in advance. Great service!
We have taken our German Shepard to another kennel and when we picked him up he was a hot mess. I was nervous this time to kennel him again but the staff at Nightwatch was amazing. When we got him THIS TIME, he hardly wanted to come home he had so much fun. Thank you to the staff! 100% would send our Shepherd to you guys again!
Had a great first experience with them and had to wait 3 weeks past his groom time because they were so busy. Finally the day came and I drove there at 8 AM only to get a phone call the groomer had car trouble and was canceling. No back up or we will squeeze you in somewhere. She just said she’d call me in a few days to re-schedule. I am coming from a half hour away with a dog that is very nervous in the car and was freaking out the whole way home. Very disappointed and not sure if I will go back.
Lynn was wonderful with Arthur! She was so nice with my wife on the phone and cut Arthur just like we wanted. We are so happy with the results and will definitely be back. It’s safe to say we found our new groomer.
This is a wonderful place for dogs to stay when they have to be away from home. The staff is extremely loving and our dogs come home exhausted from all the fun they have. Every time we return, our puppies can not wait to get inside. We highly recommend NightWatch!!!
