Jaqueline was able to sit for us last minute and it was her first time with Aussies. She was great about asking questions at the start and during the sit while we were away. We were glad she was able to maintain her work schedule while watching our dogs and still provide them with care. During the 4th of July fireworks, she cuddled with the dogs when they were scared. She took the dogs on 2 walks every day, which was more than expected. Jaqueline also kept up with fur shedding maintenance including vacuuming.
This was a fantastic house sit. I only had the pleasure of hanging with Ellie, but she’s an awesome dog. She’s super chill, but also high energy when it comes to going for walks or playing fetch in the yard. When we weren’t doing anything active, she liked to sit with me on the couch or hang out nearby whatever I was doing. Jared and Shelby were great hosts, providing detailed instructions to ensure I had no issues. The house was nice and comfortable and situated in a safe little neighborhood. All around this was a great sit and I would gladly recommend it!
I had a wonderful time taking care of Lucy, Romeo and Juliet. Bettina’s flat is modern, comfortable and within walking distance to London Fields, great local cafes and London Fields overground station. Her indoor jungle of house plants did not go unnoticed and this, along with her terrace made the flat feel very relaxing during my stay. Bettina provided an in-person/in-depth overview of the home and the local area prior to the sit which made me feel very comfortable upon my arrival. An all round great sit and would happily apply to sit again in the future.
It was a pleasure to stay at Reola and Bob's home. Chloe and Penelope are really easy to care for. Chloe is a more shy cat, but even she warmed up after a while. Penelope was shy at first, but was very friendly after a few days. The home is beautiful, clean and Reola and Bob are great and were reachable whenever I had any questions. The area is also pretty with great views and lovely walking trails. Thanks for the opportunity to take care of your home and cats!
What an amazing stay we had at Kathy & Don's home! their dog Rocky was our constant companion. He would remind us daily that the most important place to sit was in the sun on the deck enjoying the view, and if we were to leave the house it should be by kayak out onto the lake. We will truly miss Rocky till our next visit. He has become our best friend. He is so obedient and cheerful, and he loves a great snuggle on the couch while watching a movie. Kathy & Don's home is a gem. It is hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the city perched on a cliff with spectacular views, yet hidden behind a screen of native bush that camouflages it from even boats passing by. Sitting in the home enjoying the sweeping views or out on the deck enjoying the breezes and native birds and butterflies... you will soon forget the "real world" out there. They are close enough to city needs like shops, markets, and restaurants a short drive away. But we did our best to make meals at home and enjoy the slice of heaven they have built on the lakeside. Our new friends Kathy & Don are great folks as well. They were very friendly and great hosts when we met them. Easy to communicate with and not overly demanding or obsessive about details. They treated us to a nice happy hour on their deck with appetizers and drinks, and shared long conversations of world-wide adventures. We look forward to visiting with them on our way back around to share more stories of adventure. until then, happy trails! -Jacob & Davina
This was a housesit where we felt at home immediately. Sally is a very warmhearted woman and housesitter herself. We were able to arrive two days before she left for her journey which was extremely helpful to us. We had the possibility to learn everything about Pippin and Merry, the cats, the house and the vicinity. The cats were very easy to care for and it was a little bit sad to leave them. The house was very clean and situated in a quiet area where we were able to sleep better as at home. If you do have a car it is easy to see cities like Liverpool. Which we enjoyed very much. Sally left us plenty of food. The communication with her was always straight forward and clear. We highly recommend this housesit. Thank you Sally.
I had amazing week in Finland at Päivi. Reino was really easy-going and lovely cat, he was always cuddling with me. I would never have said Reino is 17 years old if I don´t know about it. He is really cute and perfect buddy. Päivi was always ready for prompt reply to my questions and messages. Thank you!
