I can’t say enough wonderful things about John! Mollie adores him and he showered her with affection, playtime, walks, and rides in the car. He sent us pictures and videos and shared stories of her silly antics, as well as news about neighbors he’d met. He took great care of the house, an old Victorian with its quirks. I was happy to hear that he was enjoying our home, neighborhood, weather and the sites and activities around our area, but we still think we got the sweet end of the deal on this. He even had fresh flowers waiting for us, and a book he found at our neighborhood Little Library!

When we got home, Mollie ran to us for snuggles, then back to John, then back and forth. I think she has decided that her pack has now expanded to include John! When we came home, we were both sick. John stayed on for a few days to take Mollie for walks and play with her outside, which we couldn’t do. Whenever he left on an errand, Mollie would mope and sit by the back door waiting for his return.

The bottom line is that John is just a wonderful, kind, happy guy who has a genuine love for animals. He’s the kind of person you would want as a neighbor, someone you would give your house keys to and know that you could count on for help whenever you need it. I can’t believe our good luck in finding him. Mollie will be delighted to see him next time, and there will be a next time.

Lori
We had a truly wonderful stay at Lori and Tony’s home! Bo, their golden retriever, is a very sweet boy and listens well. He loves to cuddle and play, and did great with our toddler! Beyond this, Lori and Tony’s home was spacious and comfortable, with cozy beds, a beautiful kitchen, and gorgeous fenced and landscaped backyard. They live in an amazing neighbourhood that feels very safe, with lots of great walking trails and a park nearby. They were both very kind and accommodating, and we would be happy to care for their home and beautiful boy, Bo, again anytime! We highly recommend sitting for them if you have the chance and enjoy spending your time with playful cuddly goldens!
