I have truly never written a review before, but I am so grateful to The Puppy Au Pair and Anne Marie that I needed to share my experience. I got married last month, and that meant that time snuck up on me fast. After frantic Googling way too close to the wedding, I found The Puppy Au Pair and their many services. Anne Marie put together a special, affordable package that met our needs and was a dream to work with. I hope to find an opportunity to work with them again and strongly recommend you hire them—whether for your special day, or just because. I had plans for everything except for how to manage my dog. We had a complex plan, it had many steps, and we needed someone to pick her up from our friend's house, take her to our first look location, and then babysit her at the hotel. Complicated! And on top of that, places that specialize in dogs at weddings have a ridiculous markup amd were like $500 for three hours of dog watching. And they couldn't pick up my dog and drive her around anyway. It was so wonderful to know I could hand off this very important and complex item to Anne Marie and her amazing team member, Madison. I am a single dog dad of one adorable little girl named Briseis. When I started going back to the office for work, I was in need of someone I trusted to walk her. I found Anne Marie & The Puppy Au Pair online & couldn't be happier with the service I have received. Anne Marie is like family to us & her staff are top notch. They take excellent care of Briseis while I am away at work or when I have to board her for travel. They even send me emails, with the highlights from her walk each day, which always puts a smile on my face. Not having to worry about Briseis when I am gone is a huge lift off my shoulders. The Puppy au Pair is the BEST! The owner, Anne Marie, has been walking and boarding my dog for close to10 years and she is just wonderful - 100% reliable, goes the extra mile in caring for my dog, sends "pupdates" after every walk/daily when boarding (with pics!), and always has a great staff. My dog is very wary of new people so Anne Marie always walks with a new staff member so that my dog can get used to her before going on solo walks. Best of all - my dog absolutely loves her! When she boards with Anne Marie I can tell from the pics and videos that my pup having the time of her life : ) ***UPDATE*** -I wanted to add this updated review, as the Puppy au Pair has once again provided outstanding services. I recently had a flight delay and cancelation that left me getting home several hours after my expected arrival. Anne Marie was able to arrange for an emergency house key transfer and evening walk so that my senior pup wasn’t left unattended – a true life saver. I’ve been using this service for over 10 years and can’t say enough good things about the owner, Anne Marie, and all her walkers. Everyone is so thoughtful and caring and I feel great peace of mind knowing that my dog is in their care

We’ve been using Puppy Au Pair for the past 4 years since we moved to Old Town and our two fur babies love Anne Marie and the other walkers. They are always excited when it’s time for their walk and I love receiving the daily updates and pictures from the team. We also use Anne Marie and her team for overnights when we’re out of town and I can see how happy and relaxed my boys are while we’re away. I can’t recommend this team enough!

We use The Puppy Au Pair for both midday walks and boarding when we can't have Gus with us. Anne Marie and her team are diligent and caring. Gus looks forward to seeing them and we look forward to regular "Pupdates." You might find a cheaper price, but you won't find a better deal.

The team at Puppy Au Pair always takes great care of my big, anxious ball of cuteness. Communication is easy and they always provide excellent updates.

We have been using Anne Marie and the Puppy Au Pair team for both daily walks and boarding for the past three and a half years since we adopted our dog and we HIGHLY recommend them! We've used The Puppy Au Pair for our pups mid-day walks/in home sitting for the last 2 years and Anne-Marie and her team are fantastic. I can tell that Anne-Marie, Daria, and all of the team truly love our dogs and look after them as such. We even get emailed pupdates on how walks/overnight stays go .We recently moved and were afraid we'd have to look for another dog walker and Anne-Marie found a way to make it work. Highly recommend.

There aren’t enough words to describe how incredible our experience with Anne Marie and the entire Puppy AuPair team has been! She put us at ease immediately the first time we met her, taking notes about our pups and asking tons of detailed questions to ensure they are well taken care of. Since then, we’ve continued to work with the Puppy AuPair team for walk breaks, weekends away, and trusted them with all three of our dogs while out of town for 10 days. Even if the pups didn’t race to greet their friends at their home away from home when we drop them off, we can see how well they are taken care of in the daily email updates we receive. We feel so comforted knowing that our dogs are getting the attention they need, and the descriptions and videos of what they’ve been up to are also hilarious. Anne Marie and the Puppy Au Pair team have been crucial to raising and taking care of my dog Ace since he was 8 weeks. The Puppy Au Pair team is reliable, communicative and flexible. They treat Ace as if he was there own dog on every single walk. They always send pictures and a detailed report post walk, which I look forward to so much. Putting your dog in someone else’s care can be nerve wracking at first, but meeting the Puppy Au Pair team changes that instantly. As long as they’ll have us, Ace and I will be loyal members of the Puppy Au Pair fam!!

We connected with Susie shortly after we adopted a Westie mix from the animal shelter. Our dog (Sophie) dealt with reactivity issues when we went outside for walks. Susie worked with us extensively to both improve Sophie's comfort level around other dogs and also how we could distract her through the use of positive reinforcement and clicker training. We greatly appreciated Susie's time and her willingness to ago above and beyond to help with with Sophie. She came to us for training, joined us in our nearby park (Meridian Hill Park), and even offered up her building front yard for long leash training. She provided necessary tools to help us and was all around a great trainer to work with. We can't recommend her highly enough.

Susie is an excellent trainer- she has helped us to zero in on our dog’s behavioral triggers and needs. She’s also been a fantastic dog sitter and our dog ADORES her. Would recommend to anyone!

We've had a great experience with Susie. She is very caring and wonderful with the dogs. Great communication and follow-ups. We've had her out to our house twice to help with our transition to having 2 dogs and she has been so helpful. Going to take our younger dog to her upcoming training classes. Looking forward to working with her more.

Susie really helped our pack out with not just one but two dogs getting to know each other and the city better. Susie really took us in when we needed help the most. Over the months I felt like Susie did not only help the dogs but also even me in comforting and supporting us during our transition into a new family.

Susie is fabulous. I adopted a 2 year old pit mix in May 2023 and was totally lost. I wanted a trainer in the neighborhood who would teach me how to be a good dog parent. Susie helped guide me and my pup into being a cohesive team, helping me teach my dog not to pull, jump, etc while dealing with my neuroses as a first time dog owner! Susie really cares about you and your dog and it shows. In addition to being a great trainer, she's also a fabulous dog sitter - she always sends me picture updates and my dog has a blast with her.

Susie is a wonderful dog trainer and I would recommend her to anyone. She gave us several critical survival tips when we had a lab puppy and infant baby all at once. You can tell she cares about the wonderful creatures she works with and is also a very accommodating person when life comes up. Thank you Susie!

Susie is fantastic! She’s knowledgeable and kind, and she was a huge help with instilling basic training in a newly adopted puppy (and us too). Months later, we still use her techniques frequently, and we know who we’ll call if we ever need support in the future. Highly recommend!

Susie is top-notch and amazing to work with! We adopted a dog, who was very timid and scared of almost everything and Susie was super knowledgeable in helping us develop a training plan. She is patient and not judgmental at all, which I very much appreciated being a first-time dog owner.

Susie is an excellent dog trainer! My dog is a rescue who was in the shelter for a very long time and didn't have any training. This is my first dog, so I also have a lot to learn. Susie is great with my dog, very supportive, and helps me feel comfortable as I learn how to engage with my dog. I also like that she uses positive reinforcement and clicker training. I saw huge improvements even after the first session! We've done three sessions together so far and made a lot of progress. She also provides detailed follow up after each session with tips for things to work on on my own. Highly recommend reaching out to Susie!

Susie is wonderful! We've been working with her for our puppy Evie, and Evie just adores Susie. Susie has taught us so much and we really see Evie's behavior improving. Susie is also great training our two young kids (7 & 10) to help with the puppy. We couldn't recommend her more.

I cannot say enough nice things about Tails of the City. We have used them for dog boarding (in a sitter's home) about half a dozen times over the last 2 years, and our dog is always so well taken care of and happy to see his sitter. When we first found Tails of the City we were trying to find a place where he wouldn't be around other dogs (he's friendly but used to being an only dog) with an experienced walker. The scheduling is a breeze, and nothing makes my day more than getting little "report cards" about how he's doing. If you're looking for trustworthy sitters and walkers, I cannot recommend Tails of the City more!

Tails of the City is fantastic! We have been working with them for 2+ years. I have a 13 y/o, weather-averse, dog-reactive Yorkie who likes to be carried more than he likes to walk, and all of the folks we have worked with from Tails have been phenomenal about accommodating his special quirks. Scheduling is a breeze, everyone is so communicative, and the daily progress reports never fail to make me smile.

I use Tails of the City for their cat-sitting service and have nothing but great things to say. The owners and staff are kind, professional, and responsive. Scheduling is a breeze, and pricing is very fair. I love that I receive a personalized email with photos and a detailed description of my kitty's mood, behavior, eating habits, etc, at the end of each visit. It really puts me at ease knowing that she's being looked after by such caring folks while I'm away. Thank you for being so awesome, Tails of the City! Kitty and I appreciate it very much :)

We love Tails of the City! They are affordable and we get the best pics and updates from our dog walker (and portrait mode glamour shots!). Our shy girl has come out of her shell so much through her weekly walks with a group of other dogs through Tails of the City and has learned to play with other dogs at the dog park (previously she would just hang with the humans)! They are incredibly responsive in terms of scheduling and have a very easy client portal.

We love Tails of the City! We use their dog walking and boarding services frequently. They take such good care of our pets and provide great customer service.

Great experience with Guadalupe! I hired her to walk my fearful reactive dog who avoided strangers to the point of paralysis. The goal was to get my dog to a point where housesitting when I travel for work could be possible. Within two weeks of daily walks, Guadalupe was able to retrieve and walk my dog on solo walks without me.

No one takes better care of our kitty than TOTC. They have a great booking system and always give fantastic updates with pictures that make us feel better while we’re away.

I cannot begin to sing the praises of Patrick's loudly enough. I brought my 7 month old puppy, Emet, who is a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, to see them today for his first ever grooming appointment. They were so communicative during the appointment, including me in Zoom calls throughout the day and letting me know how he did on breaks. It was obvious from the video chats that they put a lot of effort into getting him comfortable and gaining his trust. He's already an outgoing little guy, but they were so patient with him and it showed in how happy he was in the videos. Their report card was incredibly thorough and really let me know how things went, and included bonus videos of him getting trimmed as well as photos of the process. It's clear that they really love dogs and love what they do. He came out looking great, and they laid the foundation for many more happy grooming appointments to come.

Posy absolutely loves Mini Mondays at Patrick's. As soon as we get anywhere near the building, she starts whining with excitement, and once through the front door, she doesn't look back at me once. Ian and Emma are such wonderful trainers with her and I can tell she's getting a ton of enrichment playing with other dogs and doing activities all day. I've already noticed a huge improvement in her sharing abilities and recall and can't recommend the Mini Mondays Montessori program highly enough for small dogs! It is the highlight of her week and I love seeing her so excited.

Baloo just completed Patrick's Puppy Head Start Part One and Part Two with Nikita, and I can't say enough good things about it. The first day I dropped him off, he was shaking and clinging to me. The second time, and every time after that, he ran right in. He clearly loves going and absolutely adores Nikita. I don't know what we would have done without them, we were very overwhelmed when we enrolled Baloo in their program. It really gave us a structured plan to work on with him, and it's been amazing to see him improve from week to week. Nikita is a puppy whisperer. She helped us with every problematic behavior he had, and he's grown into a really good boy. There are still a few things we need to work on with him, so I won't say we've 100% solved everything....but he is miles ahead of most other dogs his age that I meet. He's polite, he comes when he's called (even in distracted environment ). He's good about checking in. He also has all his important commands down. They introduced it during Head Start, and we reinforced it at home. I find that with new commands, the hardest part is getting it to click, which Patrick's does amazingly. Concepts that take me multiple days to teach the puppy, Nikita manages to do in a few short hours. They've helped him become socialized to grooming, weird noises and different surfaces, all important in a city! He's also learned excellent play behavior with other dogs. Nikita does such a great job of monitoring the puppies and reinforcing positive, healthy behavior. I also loved the photos and report cards at the end of the day, so did Baloo. When Baloo hears Nikita's voice, he drops whatever he's doing to come over and look for her. Overall, such a positive experience. I find that you really get out of the program what you put into it! The more you work with the puppy out of hours and reach out to the instructors for help, the more progress you see. Highly recommend it!

I already recommend Patrick's to everyone I encounter on my walks so making it more official here. Emma Teller first did an amazing job training and guiding my cautious puppy through the newly created Dog Daycare 101. Then in the regular daycare Emma continues training all the attendees. She does the most to make sure the dogs are playing in appropriate energy level play groups, learning new things, and getting constant attention. The end of day report cards are lovely. Getting a video of my puppy walking up stairs, and activity she had completely refused to do, was the highlight of my week! We do grooming at Patrick's as well and they do a great job while still keeping my puppy so excited to attend.

I highly recommend the Puppy Head Start program at Patrick's Pet Care. The trainers are fantastic and really know how to get the best out of your pup. I couldn't be happier with my experience at this puppy training program. Friends of mine have commented how impressed they were that my puppy is a well-behaved and socialized dog, and I have the trainers to thank for that. I wholeheartedly recommend Patrick's Pet Care!! Hands down, Patrick's Pet Care is one of the best doggy daycares in DC. My dog has slight anxiety around larger dogs and would prefer to spend all day cuddling with humans, which doesn't make for a great time at most of the other daycares in DC. Patrick's Pet Care not only has a location specifically for smaller dogs but their enrichment activities are a sure fire way to make sure your pup comes home happy and exhausted. The entire team at Patrick's Pet Care is great, but Emma is by far the best. Emma takes great care of my dog and makes the best report card videos that I look forward to watching every single time. I'm so happy that I found Patrick's Pet Care!

Patrick's Pet Care is 5 star! After researching various doggy daycare options, I decided to give Patrick's a try. It is one of the best decisions I've made for my 11 month old Frenchie! My pup is a very "spirited" dog who goes from 0 to 100 in an instant, and never meets a stranger. Emma has done a great job helping her to focus, learn how to regulate her excitement level, and learn how to play at appropriate levels. I love that Emma teaches her new things and has helped her meet her goals in such a short amount of time. Although I pass several doggy daycares on my way to Patrick's in Columbia Heights, I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else!

Patrick's is amazing. We have a puppy who can be anxious at times and Patrick's is wonderful for him. It's not just a day care like many where dogs run around randomly - it's structured and each dog gets individual attention. Seriously, it's worth doing Patrick's over something else, even if Patrick's is a couple extra dollars. We had Patrick's recommended as the best in DC, and it definitely did not disappoint...

We love having Patrick’s Pet Care in the neighborhood – and our pup loves it, too. Our dog was a bit shy and uneasy around some of the other dogs when she first started attending daycare. Now she can’t wait to go and pulls towards the building whenever we’re out on a walk nearby. Emma and Nikita are wonderful with the dogs and have a done a tremendous job building our pup’s confidence through play, structured activities, and one-on-one time. It turns out our dog really likes puzzles, and they are always creating new challenges for her. We highly recommend Patrick’s Pet Care Dog Montessori – and added bonus that you can watch your pup play on the webcams!

We are so happy with the service and attention that our Shih Tzu/Mini Poodle mix Rocco has been receiving that if I could give Patrick's 6 stars I would. Their attention to detail and general concern for every dog in their care is amazing from Ian with Mini Dog Mondays to Emma with small dog Montessori. Their reports are frankly more informative than anything I ever received for my kids and given our dog's separation anxiety, knowing exactly how Rocco is doing is very helpful. In addition, the webcams give us the option to check on Rocco throughout the day. Great organization.

Couldn’t recommend Pant & Wag more highly! Cliff is beyond excited every time Sean comes to the door and comes back exhausted (in the best way). I’m so grateful to know Cliff is having a great time during the day while we’re at work. Sean and team are highly experienced and trustworthy, and I know Cliff is in good hands whenever he’s with them.

I was lucky enough to run into another dog walker in my neighborhood a couple of months ago. During our conversation, I complained that I couldn't give my dog, Teddy, the exercise that he needs due to knee problems. Teddy is three years old, very friendly, and has LOTS of energy. We walk a couple of miles each day, but it still wasn't enough. My neighbor told me about Pant and Wag. I owe him big time. Sean at Pant and Wag came out and "interviewed" Teddy and me, and we set up a two day a week schedule for him to take Teddy hiking and running, rain or shine. I was a little concerned because Teddy sometimes has a bit of a separation anxiety issue, but he INSTANTLY took to Sean. (I think Sean may be a "dog whisperer") Now, when I drop Teddy off, he can't wait to see Sean and his other dog friends. He doesn't even look back at me. And Sean seems to adore Teddy. Sean is so easy to get along with. I love that I can talk to him about any Teddy concerns that I have and get his takes/observations on my little guy. Being his mom of course, I think he's perfect, but it never hurts to get another opinion! After the hikes, Sean sends an email with a map, and pictures/video of where they were (they go all over the place in DC and MD). The email shows the path they traveled, the distance, and observations from Sean. I love it!! I could go on and on about Sean and Pant and Wag. I want to seriously recommend Pant and Wag. Sean has been a blessing for us.

My dog and I have both loved Sean’s adventures. The whole process is so easy, Sean is amazing with the dogs, and they get so much exercise! Easily the best decision I’ve made.

The reports from our dog’s adventures (with routes, pictures, and videos) are the highlight of our day. Sean is always very responsive and reliable and we know that our dog is in the best hands. We used Sean at Pant and Wag for 2 years before moving outside of DC. Sean provided the perfect situation for our active dog, who wasn't getting much out of day care and dog walkers. Sean was an excellent communicator, providing detailed reports of the outings, with occasional pictures and videos of the sessions! We trusted him coming into our home and always knew our dog was in good, safe hands. If not for moving outside the area, we would have remained a client. I would recommend his services to anyone with a dog!

We have been working with Sean for almost a year now. His service is amazing - he picks/drops off our dog midday everyday and takes him on a long fitness adventure. Most dog walkers are just taking the dogs to the dog park where they get barely any exercise. The session with Pant & wag completely tire our dog out and he gets socialization in with the other dogs as well. He is very reliable and does an excellent job communicating with us.

You will not find better dog walkers, or better humans, in NW DC! These folks set the bar high and then raise it higher. Underdogs have walked our two dogs for the past five years. When we moved from U Street to Park View, we were so happy that Greg and company could continue walking them. Every walker that we have worked with at Underdogs has been professional, punctual, responsive, and most important of all extremely loving toward our dogs! This is a small business that we are so proud to support. Throughout COVID, they have been steadfast. When we were stuck working from home, it was a joy to hand the dogs off each day and have a socially distanced chat. If you’re getting ready to go back to the office, definitely contact Underdogs. Underdogs is absolute best! Greg is wonderful to work with, he is responsive and friendly, and his website is very easy to use. Thomas is the absolute best too! He took my little dog for 5-6 walks a week for the past 6 months and always let me know how the walks went, and I trusted that my dog was in great care. On two separate occasions Thomas arrived to find my dog had had an accident (from an upset tummy issue) and he sent me texts and helped to clean up and make my dog feel better. It was a huge relief while I was away knowing that my dog was in good hands. I can't say enough great things about Underdogs.

I am grateful to Underdogs for all the services they provided for my dog. They were kind, responsive, and able to help me ensure he had the best quality of life possible during my work schedule. I have never had any issues, and everyone is a delight to work with. Even more importantly, if I ever needed last minute services, they were easy to book, and I always knew they would be able to ensure my pup was taken care of. We are sad to be moving and therefore no longer be able to work with them !

UnderDogs is the BEST dog walking service I've used in the city. They really care about your dog as if they are their own. One great thing about retaining them through my working from home was getting to hear my pups excitement each day when they arrived. Cannot recommend them (esp Thomas) enough!

I've been using UnderDogs for about 5 years. We've had the same amazing walker (Thomas). The consistency and trust is unparalleled to other companies. Greg and the other managers have also been super easy to communicate with. Knowing that I can trust my keys and most of all, my dog, with UnderDogs and Thomas, has been a blessing!

UnderDogs is truly amazing. Grace was wonderful with our very high energy golden retriever. They are extremely reliable, responsive, and always professional. They were even "on call" for us to watch our pup at the last minute while we went to the hospital for a few days to have our son.

District Pet Care is simply the best. Our vet recommended them, and we couldn’t be happier. Jackie and her team are great petsitters, and they have always gone above and beyond for us and our cat. When our baby arrived earlier than expected, for example, we texted Jackie from the hospital and she rearranged her schedule to take care of our cat even though it was a holiday. More recently, Henry arrived at our house while we were on vacation and found that the lock was sticking and he couldn’t get in. He finally got the door open after lots of effort and a trip home to get WD40. Without making a big deal about it, Henry spent hours of his time ensuring that our cat got fed, and he saved us lots of anxiety and an expensive locksmith call. Even when they’re not saving us from disasters, District Pet Care sitters do a great job—they are reliable, send pictures every day, and make sure our cat has everything he needs. Another great benefit is that Jackie has medical training and is able to administer shots and medications. She comes once a month to give our cat an injection, and she keeps track of the schedule for us and is so flexible and friendly. It’s always a joy to see her! Fetch! Has been a FABULOUS service for me and my cat, Olive. Eddie and Jayne have done such a good job with him, and they're attentive to his medication needs as well as his proclivity for eating string! Fetch is incredibly reliable, and I always feel so comfortable leaving my little guy in their care when I travel.

Fetch has been fantastic. Super reliable and send photos and comments. Rose walks my pups a lot and she is wonderful but so are the others. I had the pleasure of meeting her briefly and she is very kind. But honestly, I just don’t worry with the Fetch walkers. My dogs are quirky. One is old and has opinions “cattle dog” but they are in great hands and I can tell by the comments that they adapt to my dogs personalities and wants/needs. They are slow walkers who want to stop and sniff so you can’t rush them. And my scaredy-cat even shows herself sometimes so the animals are very relaxed and themselves which is exactly what I want for them

I'm grateful for our reliable sitter who asks good questions to make sure he understands our cats medication. I also appreciation that he caught my booking mistake or our kitties would have gone a whole day without meds! The app could use an interface update to make it easier to use but it gets the job done.

So convenient and affordable! I love the online client portal where I can add details about: my pet's daily routine, preferences, and medical needs; and the location and contact info for my upcoming trips (incase of emergency). It's super quick and easy to request, edit, and cancel service. I appreciate the free in-home consultation with my sitter before their first service appointment, so we can go over everything and make sure we both feel comfortable, and the background checks and liability insurance that's in included. The extras that make Fetch! better than others include: an emailed summary after each visit with details on services provided, how much time was spend in my home, a map of the sitter's location during the appointment, and some pictures of, and notes on, my pet's behavior. All of this makes me feel secure and reassured that my fur baby is in good hands while I'm away. I've had two sitters so far (Cathy Conger & Matthew Perigo) and both have been excellent!

I was really impressed with the level of communication I received while interacting with Fetch! From the moment I created my account to the journals sent by my pet care associate, I was always updated on the process and the services being provided. This level of communication put my mind at ease, especially the visit journals when the pet associate visited my cats. The brief summary and photos were great! It was nice to get to see my cats were receiving much needed attention while I was away!

I’m speaking on behalf of my partner G (not listing her full name for her public anonymity) who booked and cancelled services for our cats Ralphie and Moe. We’ve been loyal customers of Fetch. Our previous cat sitter Kiki has been wonderful. We recently booked cat sitting services a little last-minute but had to cancel also last-minute due to a family emergency. We expected the owner to be understanding. But the owner responded quite rudely to my partner G and showed no compassion. In our e-mail to him we mentioned a non-working Zoom link for speaking with a cat sitter prior to the cat sitting. We mentioned it being a complicated process and he responded back to us “I don’t know what’s so complicated.” We immediately noticed a $258 charge on our credit card. We did not approve this charge. That’s a lot of money! We will be contacting our credit card company. Due to the poor taste our in mouth from this experience we are tempted to contact the Better Business Bureau. I’m just writing this to make other customer aware: don’t cancel last minute unless you are prepared to pay for services not rendered in full. We have no complaints regarding the pet sitting services of Fetch. It’s just the owner we had issue with. And I’m sure he’ll be the one responding to this! This was our cancellation policy experience.

Fetch is a fantastic service--reliable, professional, easy to use, and a great price. We've had a great experience with Melissa, who convinced our shy and finicky kitties to come out and play. She checked in and sent daily updates with photos to show us how they were doing, which was very reassuring! We've used multiple pet services in the past, but this one is the clear best.

Good luck getting service. We were longtime customers from 2012-2017. We moved out of the area for two years and we just moved back. Fully expected to sign them up again. We put in a request and had to fill out a form a few days later. It took them 7 days after that to tell us that they would have no one available in our area (NW DC just outside of Georgetown) for the foreseeable future. What a waste of time. They obviously don't have enough walkers. Save your time and look elsewhere.

Fetch! Pet Care has been easier to use and more accommodating than previous services I have used in the area. I recently took a month-long, international trip and had to book with them only a couple of weeks before, due to a friend's last-minute change of plans. Fetch! was able to send someone every day, for an hour-long visit. My cat seems to love her sitters, always sitting on their laps in the pictures. The updates that follow each visit are very thorough and reassuring. For example, my sitter sent me a picture of a scratch she had noticed by her ear, as well as details about it. I always know my kitty is well taken care of!

We have used Fetch! twice now - once for a longer vacation and once for a short weekend. Both times we received excellent service from our pet sitters and great communication. We highly recommend Fetch! and intend to continue using them in the future.

Andre and his team are amazing, we trust them with two of our most precious things; our dog and the keys to our home. They are extremely reliable, responsive, dynamic and caring. From the first time I met Andre and his interactions with my dog and cat, I knew this was a person that loves animals. I used Furry Walks and Wash to cat sit when I was going on vacation. Andre, with Furry Walks, was incredibly responsive and easy to work with regarding scheduling the sit and meeting in advance. During the actual sit I received an email and pictures with an update on my animal and what they did during the sit. Overall I will use again and definitely recommend!

5 Star service for taking on walking my spoiled, large energetic Shepherd-Husky on short notice after I injured my knee and couldn't do the job myself. Extra points for answering all questions and adjusting schedule on an as needed basis. Prompt service and easy scheduling too. I’m thrilled with the dog walking services of PETicular Charm! The owner, Chris, came by to meet our little guys, took notes on behavior and routine. Very good rates! An added plus is that Chris and his crew can board a dog at the last minute in case we have an emergency. I trust Chris and his employees explicitly with our dogs and our house! The team at Peticular Charm has been great! We use them for daily walks, doggy daycare once a week, and they also watched our 8 month old puppy when we were out of town for a week. They sent daily pictures and videos so that we knew our puppy was having a good time. Honestly, I think our puppy would rather live with his friends from Peticular Charm than us!

We had a terrible experience using Pet Peeps. I would not advise anyone to rely on Gus if their pet has any sort of medical need. Not only was he unprofessional throughout the screening process, but he completely dropped the ball on taking care of our scared senior cat who needs insulin twice a day. He called on the first visit screaming at us that we lied about our cat being an easy job. We’ve had pet sitters come without issue in the past, and we obviously cannot predict if our cat is going to hide in the closet. He was so dramatic, and our downstairs neighbors had to come up with him to help. It’s truly embarrassing that he claims he’s been running a pet sitting business for decades and needs a neighbor to show him how to befriend a petrified senior cat. We used Pet Peeps to walk our dog when we first adopted him in early 2018. Gus was very kind and we had a great first meeting with him before starting our walks -- you could tell he loves all pets and that he is passionate about his business. While we only used dog walking from Pet Peeps for a short time (we figured out our dog had separation anxiety and needed full time daycare to be his happiest), I would certainly recommend Gus and his team!

We recently moved away from the DC area, but for six years Pet Peeps provided daily dog walks and pet sitting for our dog and cat.
