We had such a great weekend with Rufus. He is such a beautiful dog. We loved looking after him. It was great to explore the area. The hosts were such a delight. Very grateful for the opportunity.

Bill & Karen were the most hospitable hosts to date. Reagan, their sweet pup, was a bit skittish at first but completely warmed up after the first nite. We would love to care for her again. It was fun to have dinner with them as we spent our first nite with them before they left the next morning. They even let us beat them at spades .... 🤩

Beautiful home in tranquil location with easy access to the town of Wimberley. We cycled to town on one occasion which takes you through the back roads and past the Blanco River. Poncho and Honey are very laid back dogs that are easy and delightful to care for. We miss them already. They obviously enjoy your company and running around the extensive fenced in land. Melissa gave us all the information we needed as well as a walk round the property and kept in touch during our stay to ensure that everything was fine. We would definitely recommend this sit and hope to return in the not too distant future.

Louise
My daughter and I had a lovely time at Louise's and Matt's place. It's a cosy and stylish home within walking distance to Harpenden's Main Street. Looking after Star was an easy task. It took her a day or two to become friends with us but once she accepted us she followed us around, always sitting close and curious to see whatever we were doing. She often slept in our bed and cuddled up with us on the sofa. It was a very relaxing house sit (and would have been even better with some sun to enjoy in Louise's beautiful garden)! Thank you, for having us!

We had a lovely time at Keith and Anne's home in Oliver. Their home is super clean and tidy, and very comfortable. Oliver is a cute town with walking access to a few restaurants, a large grocery store, and a couple of pharmacies. Another grocery store is a bit farther along, and there are loads of produce stands and wineries starting only a few minutes away by car. Oliver provides great access to all that the Okanagan Region has to offer.

Molly and Boots, the two furry members of the family, are very adaptable to new people, and super friendly. They both love to be pet, including belly rubs and daily brushes. Molly is happy to warm your lap, and Boots spends most of the night on the end of the bed (Molly sleeps in the bedroom, but only hops onto the bed occasionally). They were great companions.

The welcome guide is thorough and accurate. A quick walkthrough was all we needed since we had a great reference available whenever we weren't sure about something. They even gathered maps and brochures on local activities, including winery discounts, which were so helpful for planning our out-trips to bike paths, wineries, and taking in the local culture. We were treated very well, with a tasty dinner left for us along with milk, produce, and even some fresh-baked cookies. An added bonus is that Anne and Keith have fabulous neighbours, who were also very welcoming. We enjoyed a glass of wine on alternating patios a few times, a visit to their weekly pub night, and were even invited for dinner at their place on our last night. Spoiled!

Thank you, Anne and Keith, for a great sit experience. We hope we will be able to return!

Yasmine, Louis and the kids are wonderful and kind. It was a pleasure to be able to stay in theor home for a couple of days. We stayed in to get a bit of work done and recuperate from our other travels mostly but Mochi, Peanut and Pickles livened up our time. Our children enjoyed playing fetch and dogwalking Mochi. The cats were a bit more hesitant, but they warmed up to us after a day or so. Peanut even came for some lap time and cuddles after a while. So all in all a great sit, would do it again. Thanks for having us!
