I loved this house sit. Claire (the owner) was amazing at communicating everything and even helped me figure out the public transit. Brodie and Hettie were some of the most fun dogs I’ve met. I loved our morning walks on the beach and playing with them at the house. Brodie is the most cuddly boy and Hettie is so smart and sweet. You are walking distance to everything you need and Claire had a bunch of dog-friendly restaurants and pubs to recommend. I also enjoyed meeting her neighbor, Mat and it felt good to know someone was right around the corner if I needed anything. I really liked that Claire made such an effort to make sure I was set up and felt comfortable on the house sit. Great location, great dogs, and great people! I already miss the whole group ❤️
If you want to hang out with two adorable cats on a balcony with view over Vancouver, this is the place. Megan and James are awesome. We met with Megan before we start our sit and she showed us around the house. Everything is well explained. Lola and Walter are super sweet but a bit shy, but they also like to play and chasing toys and bugs outside. They are allowed outside on the balcony if they are supervised. We had great weather so we spend sometimes long time with the view and a good coffee. The house is beautiful decorated and has everything you need. We really liked the interior and style from Megan and James. The surrounding is awesome too just on the edge to some gorgeous walking trails and not far till Lonsdale Quay with good restaurants. The communication was easy and we get always immediately answers if we had questions.. Prefect sit we just can recommend it.
I had a lovely time with Jill and Jack in Tanvi's apartment, which is located in a really nice Amsterdam neighbourhood. Jill and Jack are easy going, they have great (quite different) personalities and they are super friendly. It was the perfect housesit and I have worked very efficiently during my stay, good internet and in the amazing company of Jill and Jack.
We loved housesitting for Alison and Holly. Alison’s home is a beautiful, old, detached cottage, full of character and absolutely spotless. It is a very comfortable house and equipped for even the most demanding chef. The location is perfect - a five minute walk to a beautiful beach! Alison is a great host - leaving us gin and chocolates and bringing us bouquets of flowers! She even had milk delivered for us. She’s a lovely, kind and generous woman - and communicating with her was easy and fast. Best of all Is Holly! A warning for all sitters - Holly will steal your heart. She’s a cuddle bunny, very well behaved, full of fun and an absolute delight to be around. She’s just completely adorable. We would love to sit for Alison and Holly again.
This was such a lovely sit. Everything was perfect for my stay. I've done over 50 sits now and this has to be one of the top ones. Juliet left a beautifully clean and tidy house. Mishka was adorable and so easy to look after. The house was situated perfectly for access to the town and transport and a calm retreat when returning home. Absolutely recommend this sit if you get the chance. Thanks Juliet.
I had the best stay with sweet little Mog, even though it was short I feel like I have gotten to know her already. She is a georgeous girl who loves company and a few pats here and there if youre lucky! She is such a character and I loved learning about her personality and quirks. It was also a treat to see a bit of Hamburg and Daisy lives in a lovely neighbourhood where I always felt safe and comfortable. Daisy was nice enough to let me arrive a bit earlier and I very much enjoyed our time together before she left, she is a very kind and lovely person. I hope to be able to look after Mog again one day!
