Housesitting for Carolyn and Joe was an absolute joy! I met Carolyn and Joe at their home immediately before they left for their trip. They introduced me to their kitties and gave me a brief tour of their home. During the housesit, Carolyn was quick-to-respond to any questions or comments I had. Carolyn appreciated regular photos and updates about the kitties. Macee and Dash were easy kitties to love. Macee was social from the get-go. She was a real sweet heart, very much enjoying belly rubs and her toys -- especially the stick with the feathers at the end. At first, Dash was reserved, hiding for the first two hours under the bed. But once he worked up the nerve to make his appearance, he was constantly at my side, brushing up against me, plopping himself at the base of my feet, and sleeping next to me at night. Both kitties enjoyed snuggling on my lap when I read, which was a real treat. Carolyn and Joe live in a lovely home, surrounded by big windows and great big trees. They are within walking distance of numerous paths, including a path to the beautiful Semiahmoo Park. I also enjoyed riding my bike along the country roads. Thank you so much, Carolyn and Joe, for sharing your kitties with me. I look forward to housesitting for you again!
Elise and Janne are true cat heroes! I really admire them for their rescue work... not everyone open their hearts and home to 8 beautiful cats, and look after them with so much love and care like them. It was a delight to hang out with their furry family for 1 month. The cats are loving and cuddly, and I had my cat love shower everyday. Having had experience with a multi-cat is a plus if you are planning to apply (I used to have 11 at a time, so for me it was fine) as you need to manage their behaviour a bit to avoid fights and to keep everyone happy and safe in their space. Nothing to worry much about, just to keep an eye on. The surroundings are stunning and I just couldn't have enough of all the green around me! Not to mention the beautiful hiking tracks and the overall feeling of tranquility. A great place to just relax and enjoy life! Thank you very much for choosing me! this is a highly recommended sit
What a brilliant sit! Ana and Zhutu's apartment is in such a beautiful neighbourhood with every amenity at the doorstep and so close to the Bosphorous. Blackie and Fig are both such delightful characters, though very different from one another! They both love a snuggle and are such a pleasure to take care of. Ana and Zhutu made sure I had everything I needed for a perfect stay and I'd recommend this sit to anyone who'd like to enjoy a true, local Istanbul experience!
My boyfriend and I were so happy to stay at Ben’s place looking after Roxy and Missy! They’re very easy to take care of and they both love cuddling in the couch. We fell in love with them immediately. Ben is very friendly and did everything to make our stay comfortable. We would love to come back another time.
Just a short but great sit in Karen's bright and lovely home. Poppy was a dream, either walking full speed or sleeping. No In-between! We enjoyed coffee together in the sweet dog friendly cafes in the lively town of Otley and enjoyed walking in the surrounding countryside. Communication was great, and would recommend sitting for this lovely family to anyone.
