Was a Delight to look after the very sweet Pebbles and Oreo in Caroline and Peters lovely comfortable and charming home with amazing garden with a pool but sadly the weather let us down , but did have a couple of sunny days to take a swim . We where made to feel very at home , and we definitely look forward to spend our new year 2020 with Pebbles and Oreo if Covid allows. Thank you so much Caroline and Peter .
We really enjoyed our 1 month stay at Nicole and Kyle's home in Ho Chi Minh City!! We met Nicole and Kyle beforehand and they were very friendly, welcoming and informative about the area they live in and how best to look after Pele's needs. From the moment we met Pele we fell in love and had such a fun time looking after him :-) He is super cute, lots of fun and lives for his little treats. He loves to spend time with you and cuddle up but is also happy to chill alone and has his own routines. As mentioned he can be a little mischievous haha and can get overly excited when walking sometimes but you learn as you go what works best for him. During our stay we had to take him to the vet for a minor issue but he was very well behaved and we didn't mind at all. His overall health is excellent. Pele likes sleeping in the bedroom with you and he's a lot of fun to wake up to every morning. He's a great little dog and anyone caring for him will fall in love. The apartment is clean, modern, very comfortable and has great views as it's high up. We stayed at a very hot time of the year and some days it was really hot in the apartment but there are fans to use and air-con if you really need it. We had the use of a swimming pool and gym facilities which was also a great bonus and we used this a lot. Nicole and Kyle live in a great area in District 7 with plenty of cafes, supermarkets and a fantastic shopping malls close by. The area has everything you need and you can walk Pele in the parks that are close by where you will certainly meet some of his friends. We chatted regularly to the other dog walkers and there is a nice community in the area. Overall we had a great time staying with Pele and we miss him dearly everyday. Thanks to Nicole and Kyle for having us and if we are in HCMH again in the future we wouldn't hesitate to be pet-sitters for Pele again :-)
Kelly and Jason along with their two sons welcomed us into their home where we immediately felt safe and comfortable. We overlapped a night (Jason actually picked us up from airport the day before) and we were able to get to know them as well as the house and pets a little better. We really enjoyed the pets -- they are very well behaved and after the initial meeting, they really calmed down -- most times they were vying for a premium spot close to me! On walks they generally disregarded other dogs -- I would suggest having a strong hold on them though -- not because of other people or dogs, but because of SQUIRRELS that they love to chase up the tree! Their home is in a cool neighborhood and reminded us of the brownstones in Brooklyn with quaint little neighborhood restaurants and shops. Kelly and Jason left us easy instructions about some of their favorites and access to their bikes which we rode on several occasions along lakeshore drive/parks. They are very close to the "L" and the subway system is very easy to navigate. We loved our stay "living like a local", their house was clean and comfortable and the pets were easy! Chicago is a great town!
5 stars on everything! We were at Ewelina and Julio's house for a week taking care of their precious kitten Pancake. Pancake has been the most affectionate kitten that we have sit so far, she is very tender and calm, she enjoys taking long naps after which she wants a great dose of cuddles. We have had no problem leaving her alone, one day we did a tour that took us 9 hours away from home and she was perfect. We also had no problems with her food or her needs, she really is a very easy-care cat and a super companion. As for the apartment, it is super comfortable, fully equipped and well located, it is only 10 minutes from the center, we have bought a public transport pass for a week and we had the bus stop on the corner; Another option is uber which is really cheap. Krakow is a beautiful city, with many things to do and see, it has many very interesting tours including a visit to Auschwitz that we have loved to visit. We are very happy to have had the opportunity to take care of Pancake for a week and to meet Julio and Ewelina who are a lovely couple, super friendly and fun. We have been lucky to be able to arrive a day before they leave and we were able to share a beautiful dinner together, they showed us the city a bit and gave us a lot of advices. If you have the opportunity to take care of Pancake do not hesitate to apply as you will enjoy this sitting very much. Thank you very much Ewelina and Julio! it has been amazing!
