We felt welcome in Kate and Éoin’s home as soon as we met them. They are the most wonderful people and have made a beautiful family and home in Edinburgh. We were especially touched by all their recommendations of what to do while in Edinburgh (and Scotland), as well as the beautiful welcome pack we received. We had the pleasure of looking after Kali and Thor, who honestly were such a delight to spend time with. Thor is the most friendly and smoochy cat, we loved all the cuddles we had with him! We took Kali with us virtually everywhere (cafes, a distillery, up Arthur’s peak, around town); she is the most polite and sweet girl and received compliments everywhere we went. It was really easy to get around Edinburgh from home, the city really feels walkable from Kate and Éoins. They have a beautiful apartment, and we spent a good portion of time just relaxing at home with the pets as well as exploring the city. We would sit Kali and Thor again in a heartbeat.
David and Jonathan are wonderful, warm hearted hosts. After meeting over zoom and in person, I felt prepared and fortunate to have been chosen to take care of Violet. She is a delight, and a wonderful companion. Although Violet is not a lap cat, she enjoys being close by, and being stroked and petted. She is quite the community kitty. Although, I feel her favourite spot is with David and Jonathan in their beautiful, welcoming home. I wish I could press a replay button. I enjoyed every part of being with Violet and staying in this relaxing home.
This was an OUTSTANDING sit -- from beginning to end -- that we HIGHLY recommend without any reservations. We started our sit with a phone conversation and then shortly thereafter received an extensive welcome guide from Dan and Susan. Upon arrival, they took the time to go over any questions we had as well as a full tour of their amazing community, including introducing us to some of their friends, before taking us to a lovely dinner. They were EXTREMELY helpful and easy to communicate with before, during, and after our stay and made sure that we had everything we needed, including space in the refrigerator/freezer and places for our clothes. A spotless and comfortable bedroom and full bathroom (tub/shower) were set up just for us. You could tell they just wanted us to be comfortable and enjoy ourselves! Their home is nestled in a gated community within 10 miles of Disney and close to everything you could want or need! It was the perfect size and extremely comfortable with all the amenities you could desire including the most peaceful lanai with plenty of wildlife that will keep you entertained. A PERFECT place to relax with the most laid-back and sweetest kitties, Cole and Eloise. Both kitties love their human companionship, playtime with their many toys, massages with belly rubs, and engaging conversations! Cole found his spot on our bed that same evening while Eloise joined in a day later. They both enjoyed the lanai with us as well as spending time in our laps which helped us get our kitty fix! (Thank you Cole and Miss E!) You can tell that their parents have dedicated an abundant amount of love and time with them for they were the perfect hosts from the moment we arrived! Just be warned that they will immediately steal your heart should you get chosen by this wonderful and vibrant couple to come pet sit for these gentle kitties. THANK YOU so much Dan and Susan for sharing your slice of paradise and choosing us to take care of your fur babies. Time flew by way too fast as we were just feeling our previous travel stress melt away with the help of your sweet kids! We had a super last minute sit for Beth and Lizzie and their adorable dogs Flint and Skye. We just wish we could have stayed longer! Both dogs were so well behaved and so loving right from the start. We enjoyed their company enormously, they were great fun to take out and they are such great pals. Little and large! A warm and very comfortable home in delightful Tetbury, with many nearby walks along footpaths through the fields, amazing views and stunning countryside! This is a great base to explore the nearby villages and towns of the beautiful Cotwolds with farm shops, antique shops and lots of dog friendly cafes and pubs..... We really hope to return to look after Skye and Flint, our new furry best friends. Thanks so much for having us stay, thanks also for the great comms and we look forward to the next time!
It was a pleasure to stay and take care of Seamus. Daniel and Cara were easy going and good communicators, they made sure to respond to all my questions and concerns as quickly as possible and had all the information I needed in the listing and their welcome guide. Their home was impeccably clean and organized, they even offered a welcome gift which was totally unnecessary but deeply appreciated! Seamus was a super affectionate companion during my short stay, he was well behaved with lots of personality and just the right amount of playfulness! I would definitely come back 🙂
