Jo was very welcoming and even had a hot meal ready for when I arrived. Her home is beautiful, clean and tidy and verging on the golf course which was great for walks. Percy is a darling. He's very well behaved, hardly barks at all and is very lovable. I'd certainly come for another sit.
Lola is a good girl, we really fell in love with her by the end of our stay. She is calm and friendly, we hadn’t any problems during our sit, except for a couple moments she ate things that were not good for here. She is a foodie, so keep everything’s eatable out of reach, even the gate could not save food, if it’s reachable :) Haarlem is a nice town near to Amsterdam, the apartment is in 30-min walk and 10-min by bus to the center of Haarlem.
It was lovely to meet Susanah and her four dogs! The people I met while at Susanah’s were all great, interesting & friendly people; it was nice to have neighbours around who knew the area and the dogs. Sybil - the Great Dane - is a gentle giant… and very fast when on the run out in the open! Humphrey is the wise, protective, elder dog. Rita is a bit of a mini ring-leader & Scotty is quiet but will take you (or Rita) up on any offer to go on an adventure. It was nice for this city gal to live by the heat of a wood stove and collect eggs & put the hens in each evening. The location is stunning and it was lovely to experience it - and the views - in a wide range of weather. Thanks & I hope to be back soon!
Avis and her husband are such kind souls, and their beautiful home is like a sanctuary where one can live, enjoy and relax. The location is also fantastic with beautiful views, peaceful and quiet. Their cute and lovely dog is super well trained, calm and cheerful, at all time ! It was amazing like I was having a little lovely Angel by my side in a wonderful garden home. I highly recommend this sit. Thank you so much for all your trust and kindness. I look forward to seeing you all again.
