Isabelle was given specific instructions, but needs to follow them all. The dogs were fine, but too many things went awry. I sent her a text with questions that I had, but have not received a reply. This all caused me to be stressed out, rather than enjoy my time away.
It was a pleasure looking after Mavis and Batman for a week. Joseph and Huey made sure we felt at home at their beautiful place and checked in during the week to make sure all was going well. They provided a comprehensive handover of the house and pets which made life easy. Mavis is the sweetest, most loving little lapdog and Batman also loves a cuddle. We could not have asked for a lovelier housesit!
Absolutely delighted with my experience taking care of Cookie for Lisa! Communication with Lisa was incredibly easy, and she provided all the necessary details for Cookie's care. At first, Cookie was a bit timid, but with time, he warmed up, and we developed a great bond. The apartment's location near the Sagrada Familia made the city getaway convenient. The house, location, and family are amazing! Communication with Tracy is very easy and timely. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to have Mello with us for this sit; taking care of the plants was very easy. The location of the home is nearby to everything you would want to visit, yet very private and a virtual nature reserve! We saw deer, rabbits, 30+ types of bird, box turtles, snapping turtles, and probably other things I’m forgetting. Great sit, hope to be back one day.
We had such a fun stay with Manny and Kiri in Seattle! Manny was so sweet and cuddly, especially on the couch and at night in bed. He loved long walks in the neighborhood when it was warm and sunny. Kiri was a very friendly cat, and was very vocal when you prepped her food which was very entertaining! Sara's house is very lovely. It's situated in a quiet neighborhood, a nice walk to Lake Washington and local restaurants/coffee shops and the Arboretum. She was so sweet in welcoming us to her home, and even let us stay an extra night when her flight home was returning in the evening and she wanted us to be home when she arrived. A great Seattle housesit!
This was a wonderful home/pet sit. Trudy and Bob are lovely and very helpful. They left very detailed instructions and were easily contacted if I had questions. Their home has everything you need and is very comfortable. It is conveniently located to shopping, trails and parks, and the Kawartha Lakes. Marija is very sweet and warmed up to me right away. She wasn't feeling well when I was there, but there was nothing wrong with her purr! We spent lots of time cuddled together! I would definitely be in for a repeat performance.
A very relaxing and comfortable stay at Mary & Jeff’s home. Their two pups, Frost & Star are extremely friendly and affectionate with great dispositions. They love lots of snuggles and are a true joy to be around. Their home in Vienna, Va. is in a quite peaceful neighborhood which makes walking an enjoyable safe experience. Me, me, me, let’s walk n play for hours now, I had hours of boredom while you were at work! No non spayed or neutered, all shots. If any chance of illness…no do not endanger 50 for 1. The location has the ability to be wonderful. N children should not be brought in to middle to lay around n play with dogs. It is a business, dogs are wonderful animals but once you put 5 together anything can happen. It’s not a child day care a I repeat, kids do not belong on the floor with clients dogs. If a dog bites once you are putting him at risk for bitting again. Step on them, if you bang into them n they have cancer n you don’t know it, a nice dog will bite. You now created an issue for dog owner because you thought it would be fun to have your kids on the floor of a dog day care/ boarding business.
Very expensive for a fair job. I left it to the groomer’s discretion and although my girl was very pretty when I picked her up, they barely cut any hair. i will need to bring her for a haircut elsewhere and pay a nominal fee. Anyway $95 dollars for a wash and a trim for a 10 pound dog is absurd. I will not be returning. Chris and Zoe

Amazing place! The team consists of friendly, experienced dog lovers who greet every pup that walks through the door as if it's their own.
I have two rescue dogs who I have to board occasionally, they have high anxiety and we have had bad experiences at previous places but I feel so comfortable leaving my dogs at Fuzzy Butts. It is clear all of the staff I have met care so much for the dogs here and treat them as their own. My dogs who hate going places, love going here even to board! The staff are so accommodating and they communicate so well during their stay.
Our daniff goes to fuzzy butts for regular daycare and boarding. When we get out of the car he runs to the front door and is genuinely excited to see everyone and spend time with his other doggie friends. He had major separation anxiety and a very particular diet due to his size (he needs three meals plus a day) and fuzzy butts has been more than accommodating. The staff are extremely friendly and we love the daily picture updates!

Been taking our pups here since 2009 and we all love it! Our pups always come home exhausted from their play! The staff evaluate the dogs to ensure a good fit and friendly atmosphere. They are so sweet and treat our pups like family - so caring and loving. They also offer boarding and grooming services and we recommend those as well. The hours are great and pricing very reasonable. They've been super flexible when we've had a last minute ask for a weekend boarding. We're so lucky and appreciative to have found this gem years ago. I've been a customer here for 14 years, with 4 dogs over those years. My dogs have always loved this place, where they have lots of room to run around, lots of toys to play with, and people who truly love them and get to know each dog. They celebrate birthdays, Santa comes for Christmas pictures, and there is nothing better than Halloween at Bark Avenue! The staff is great, the place is spotless, and my dogs are nice and tired at the end of the day!
We are extremely satisfied with Bark Avenue. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I feel so at ease whenever i drop off my dog because i know that hes going to be in good hands. Sometimes they even post photos or videos on their facebook feed and every once in a while i get to see my pup running around. It makes my day knowing that hes happy and playing with other dogs. I also love that they split up the dogs by energy level, not just size, so i know my small dog is around other pups who wont be too aggressive with him. Im so happy i found this place. And i know my dog loves it too, because he gets so exciting when we ask him if hes ready to go to "school".
So great to be back at Bark Avenue! We moved and started taking our Basset Hound to another day camp. Not sayin’ nothin’ but the name of the franchise rhymes with “Messed Ends” Rather than go into all the problems with them, I’d like to list just a few of the ways in which Bark Avenue distinguishes themselves from the aforementioned chain. 1. Bark Avenue retains customers and staff 2. They recognized Ike (after a 3 year absence) and welcomed him back with great warmth and enthusiasm. 3. Their hours are much more convenient 4. When Ike is bathed or gets his nails trimmed (by Marydean) the work is noticeable. 4. Best of all the director and staff seem to genuinely enjoy the dogs! Bark Avenue is not fancy or pretentious, but we trust them implicitly to care for our “best friend.”

My licensed therapy dog was bit terribly. Then, they try to make it sound like it was my dog's fault. My dog is very friendly and has NEVER had an incident. I'm now sitting at the animal hospital because my dog has severe wounds from the attack. Never again!

Complete Pet Care's name says it all - Complete Sending daily photos, including funning stories of what Pi did, taking my dog to nearby parks for a change of scenery, shutting my freezer all the way (my fault), bringing in my mail. I feel so comfortable leaving my house and Great Dane in Shade's hands.
Shade is a true animal lover and I would highly recommend Complete Pet Care to anyone with pets! Our dog loves her and they had a connection as soon as they met. Shade provides our dog with walks during the week, which have been so helpful in allowing our dog to get her energy out while we are at work. She is reliable, flexible, and very communicative by sending pictures, videos, and updates after every visit. Additionally, she has been a huge help with checking in on/feeding our 2 cats when we go away. As someone who loves their pets and is hesitant to trust other people with them, I feel completely at ease knowing that Shade is taking the best care of them!

I have been using Jim for dog walking and boarding since my 10 year old dog was a puppy. He is reliable, flexible, and trustworthy. Most importantly my dog is crazy about him.
I didn't think I'd be able to find anybody that I trusted as much as much as my close friend who had been walking my dog while he was in between jobs. Not only is Jim very dependable, but he's also willing to deal with my sometimes fluxuating schedule. I highly recommend him.
Asked Jim pretty last minute to see my cat when we went away for for a week. He came over the next day, got oriented, and then checked on her every day for a week. Rates seem fair, he played with her, did litter and food and brushing. Seemed to look for things to do for my cat. Will use again and do recommend.

Lisa is incredible. She has helped me so tremendously I can’t even put it into words. My cat Homer is a 16 year old newly diagnosed with diabetes, which makes leaving for holidays and events a bit harder due to his injections. Lisa has helped me more times than I can count, and Homer loves her! It is such a weight off my mind that he is being cared for so well. She sends updates and photos and is always so generous with her time. I can’t imagine what this past year would have been like without her help.
I have used Lisa Burke from Family Style Pet Sitting as my pet sitter for 13 years now. My old dog would actually get excited when he saw us packing for vacation because he knew he was going to go to Lisa’s house for his “vacation.” I never worried about him because I knew he was in the best possible hands. When he was sick and required special care and medicine, she was the only one I trusted. She also takes care of my two cats and my new dog, and she used to take care of my chickens when we had them as well. Highly recommend!!

All Creatures Pet Care is first-rate. Brooke has taken care of my golden doodle since he was a puppy, sometimes for up to three weeks when I have traveled. The care is exceptional! Olivia is amazing with my rambunctious, reactive with strangers at home, quirky dog. She took the time to slowly get to know him and let him know her.
