I've never seen a dog watch TV till I met Indy. He is so smart and playful. I enjoyed running around the backyard with him and sleeping together. He loves attention and wants to be by your side all the time. Grace is very nice and even brought candies from her travels. I'm thankful for my time in her home with Indiana Jones <3
Tenaya and Phil are a very sweet young couple, gracious hosts, and loving bunny parents. They are great communicators as well. Their home is beautiful, comfortable, and tranquil. The kitchen is amazing and contains everything needed to create great meals, coffee and tea, and more. It was rainy during my stay, so I didn't get to enjoy the outdoors much, but they also have a lovely and peaceful backyard and their home is very close to the lake and walking trails. The most wonderful part of this sit, of course, is Abbey the bunny. She is the most calming, mild-mannered, lovable little nugget of a pet! I simply adore her and would be happy to sit with her again. Caring for Abbey is fairly easy and consists of keeping her hutch and litter boxes clean, letting her out to roam about the house during the day, giving her food and water, tidying up after her just a bit, and loving on her with pets and brushing. Getting down to her level is a must, and will be helpful in gaining her trust. She is an affectionate little rabbit and may hop over for treats and pets, snuggle in when given love, and even lick on you a bit. This is a great sit for bunny lovers, anyone curious about rabbits, or those in need of a "zen" break.
Dear Kameil and Dear Simon, I thank you very much for your warmly welcome in your house! Taking care of your catboys was easy going, even though Rakim was more suspicious towards us, then Erik. The next day was it gone and my son loved to play with them. I wish you all the best for you and your family! Thank you soooooo much ;-)!!
Anne and Lowell opened their home to us and we had a wonderful experience. Geneva is such a “walkable” community. Ideal for pet walking. Otie was good company and quick to accept us.
This was a wonderful sit. The animals (Laphie, Charlie and thechicken) are friendly, well-behaved and very easy to look after. Laphie is still young and energetic and pulls on the lead a bit, so needs a strong arm. He absolutely loved his walks and to be taken out for the day. Charlie is a very relaxed and friendly cat and loves to sit on your lap purring very loudly. The chicken is adorable and follows you around the garden looking for company and/or meal worms. She's a real character. Sarah's house is large, beautiful, and welcoming and has lots of room for a family. It made an excellent place to stay and reacquaint ourselves with the area. Sarah was very communicative and helpful in outlining all the animals' routines and needs. We would happily return to sit for the family again.
What an awesome sit! Right from the beginning we had an excellent relationship with Lilian. She helped us a lot in preparing for our stay, finding us a reasonably priced SUV and helping us with all the paperwork for Ahmed‘s visa. She and Jeroen picked us up from the airport and assisted us with the car contract. From the beginning we were treated by Lilian and all her wonderful family as if we were long-time friends. Lilian had prepared a little „booklet“ with lots of information which we absolutely needed, and throughout our stay we were in close contact. The place itself is absolutely magical and gives you a real „out of Africa“-feeling. It is a very well kept 2 ha bush park full of indigenous trees and plants with beautiful buildings bordered by the silvery band of the Olifant river. You can watch cows grazing on the banks of the river and their bells give you the feeling that you are in Switzerland if it weren‘t for the baboons which you can see among them. Right outside the fenced estate you can discover lots of wildlife like giraffes, impalas, kudus, zebras while walking the dogs. Their staff are lovely, polite people who do a really excellent job, they will help you and care for your comfort. Since they are poor we wanted to show our gratitude and paid all their food and a bonus in the end of our stay. The doggies are all absolutely fabulous. We spent lots of time together, we shared our bedroom with them, we got very much attached to them and it was absolutely sad to leave them. They will always be fondly remembered by us and will always have a place in our heart. In fact, we would return immediately to this wonderful place if we had the chance to do so. Thank you Lilian and Jeroen for giving us this very special experience. All the very best to you, your wonderful family and these exceptional doggies. Looking forward to seeing you all again!
