Heather and Tim took care of Tucker while I was gone for a long weekend. They came over weeks beforehand to meet Tucker and to get the "lay of the land". They kept in touch with me daily with pictures or a writeup about how Tucker was doing. It was clear from the pictures that Tucker was very happy and getting great walks (one of my neighbors commented on how nice they were when she saw them walking Tucker). I returned to a spotless house and several gifts(!!), including fresh flowers and chocolate almonds. I can't say enough nice things about Heather and Tim. They are interesting, responsible, caring and trustworthy. Your and your pet or house would be lucky to have them stay!

I had a good feeling from Betsy and Joel right away! Very nice people and Monty was adorable. She definitely won me over with her cuteness. The stay was in a separate guest house which was great for me to feel like I had my own space. Instructions and communication were A+
Chip and Nellie were an absolute JOY to look after. They are adorable and so much fun! Nellie was pretty shy about playing and receiving pets at first, but she warmed up over the course of the visit;) Chip was eager to play and cuddle from the start. SUCH loves. Sophie's home is right next to the Leeds-Liverpool canal, and we were able to do some incredible hikes, without a car, just by heading up the hillside on foot. Ilkely Moor was gorgeous. We also visited East Riddlesen Hall, a National Trust Property, just a 5 minute walk away. Sophie was friendly and a clear, prompt communicator throughout. She gave us tips on some of her favorite pubs in the area, which was very much appreciated! The one caution I'd mention for other potential sitters is that the house is on the older side and was dusty and not as clean as we would've liked. My partner had some trouble with all the dander in the home, even though we were cat parents ourselves until a few months ago when our girl passed away. That said, Sophie had a vacuum available, and we used it to tidy up the first day and that helped our stay go better! One last thing of major importance to mention: the bed that Sophie had made up for us was *incredibly* comfortable:) Overall, a very successful pet sit!
