The location was perfect for me, away from bustle of city Basel but close enough to visit. Cat Austin is very mischievous and sometimes Maira joins him. They are both fun, running and jumping, made me smile and laugh. The place is modern, spacious with wonderful outdoor deck and views. Loved the town, market on weekend, visited Thermal bath Sole Uno and walked to Rheinfelden, Germany town.
What a wonderful sit! Zeus is the calmest and gentlest cat I have ever met. He is sweet, kind, beautiful and extremely loving. We could stroke him all day and he would be happy. Not once did he bite or scratch and he would chirp every time - without fail - we went to stroke him, even when he was sleeping. He was also super chatty and would talk and chirp and purr all the time. He was very easy to care for, used his litter tray, ate his dry food more than his wet food and slept a lot. He loves human company so would often follow us around and kept me company while I worked from home. Zeus would let us know when he wanted attention and for the rest of the time he would just relax. He even loved being brushed! Claire, Mark and Hannah were lovely hosts. They made up the beds, left essentials in the kitchen, space in the fridge, plenty of toilet rolls, tissues and cleaning products and a brilliant welcome pack / folder, with all the user guides included. Their home is absolutely stunning, super comfortable and both my husband and I and our son, Zakiy, were provided ensuite bedrooms. Zakiy's had a desk to use for his revision and Hannah kindly slept in the spare room the night before so Zakiy's room was beautifully ready for him. We had all the amenities, showers, a tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, streaming services, books, high speed WiFi and Claire left out plenty of towels. As we were planning to arrive after Claire and the family had left, we had a few video calls and Claire took me on a virtual tour of the house so we were prepared for our stay. We had a lovely and relaxing stay in their beautiful home - and the honour of meeting an adorable cat, whom we will certainly never forget.
Sitting for Shmuli was a delight. He’s a delicious tuxedo with the heart of a kitten and the soul of an Olympian athlete. If you participate in a Greenie Toss Championship with Shmuli, consider yourself lucky indeed, it’s tremendous fun. And if you are really lucky, he just might curl up on your legs. Wendy is a great host, and the care instructions are clear and easy to follow (plus Wendy is quick to respond to questions and Shmuli is a great assistant guide). The house is beautifully decorated, yet cozy; bright and airy yet private. Wendy gets an extra five stars for A-plus art and books. Warning: Shmuli is easy to fall in love with!
This place was magical from the hospitality. To Loki’s beautiful affections. To the decor. The vibes. Just the atmosphere and love within the home. Look forward to coming back here.
What a great experience! Communication with Lisa both before and during the sit was clear, kind, and helpful. The Northern Arizona location is one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever visited. Nights are dark and quiet. The view from the back yard is absolutely gorgeous, and I enjoyed it (including hummingbird and woodpecker sightings) while playing exuberant fetch with Maggie and Danny. Spooky, the sweet, fluffy cat, more often than not would keep us company outside while we played. If you’re looking for a sit that’s set in nature, with well-behaved, well-adjusted pets, in a lovely, clean home with a delightfully comfortable bed and a spacious kitchen, this is it. I’d be delighted to return to Lisa’s home for another wonderful pet sitting experience.
Pickles, Max and Sheba were very sweet :-) And I enjoyed Natalie's quaint little place in an awesome location. Minutes from the beach. The back patio and kitchen floors remind me of Tuscan living.
