We are so happy that we chose Mariam and John to look after our cat and house! They arrived on the Friday afternoon for a whistle-stop tour of the house, but sadly the kitty hid under the bed! There was no need to worry about our guests and pet getting along though, because before long I had a photo on my phone of Ivy nestling on John's lap on the sofa. The three of them proceeded to have a lovely time together, many cuddles, and snoozes, and purrings, all documented on Mariam's regular WhatsApp messages and photos, which assured us that all was well at home. Mariam and John treated our house with great respect and care, always asking questions if they weren't sure about anything, and before leaving they made sure the house was super-clean and tidy, not a thing out of place! In fact John's cleaning of our bathroom was of five-star quality - the bath sparkled like it was fresh from the B&Q showroom. And they left a lovely bunch of flowers on the kitchen table. In summary, you couldn't pick better house-sitters than Mariam and John. Right from the start we knew that here we had such lovely, friendly and relaxed people, who would care for our little pet and her home with such dedication and love. Thanks so much, M and J!
David arrived for a run through of everything before I left. There was an instant bond with Blue and it was very obvious he liked animals. I only met Rakhee briefly when I returned but she kept in touch with me while I was away and they sent me photos. The house was as I left it and they both seemed a very kind, considerate couple. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
