This was a wonderful housesit in a beautiful part of Surrey. Nigel and Jane were incredibly welcoming and their lovely, spacious home was an absolute delight to look after. Our accommodation was outstanding and the large garden and immediate surroundings were picturesque and very relaxing. Communications with Nigel and Jane were excellent throughout. The requirement for sitters to have their own transport was supported by a large, roomy driveway. The local historic towns and villages offered a wide variety of top quality shops and restaurants in thoroughly charming settings. Charlie and Lulu were a pleasure to care for. Following Nigel’s sound advice, both cats were given plenty of space and, as predicted, they came to us in their own time for affection and human companionship. Their feeding instructions were clear and straightforward. Maintaining the bird feeders in the garden was a simple and rewarding task as they attracted an abundance of birdlife, including the local woodpeckers - a joy to watch whilst drinking one’s morning coffee. In summary, this was an excellent housesitting experience in all respects and we would love to be considered for any future sitting requirements that Nigel and Jane may have. Highly recommended.
Boston aka Bonzo is such a sweet pup! He loves walks and belly rubs, never barks, and is so sweet! I will miss seeing his long legs run down the stairs. His parents, Andrea and Mark are great hosts with a wonderful home!! They provided me with all the information I needed to take care of Boston and feel comfortable in their home, even checking in after some summer storms hit DC! I would definitely recommend this sit!
As our first house/pet sitting experience, this was perfect! Bagsie and Baloo looked after us very well! We were readily accepted as part of their pack! We loved walking them in the nearby countryside and even went for a drink with them in one of the lovely pubs. Thank you so much Judy and Miles for giving us this opportunity! We would love to sit again:)
Bella is a fantastic dog. She’s well mannered, social, and easy to love. She was a joy to care for. I was able to meet with Betsy and Dave prior to their departure to review details for Bella and their home. Instructions were simple and clear. They were gracious hosts, communicated well, and their home was peaceful and welcoming. I would happily sit for them again.
