Kelsie and Sam were great hosts. They were thorough in showing me around and giving me details about the animals and house before our stay. I was very glad they remembered to tell me their TV turns on randomly during the night, or else I might have been a little freaked out when it happened! (lol) Their house is very nice and comfortable, and was stocked with everything we needed during our time there. Ruca and Gandalf were low-maintenance and well-behaved. We didn't have any issues while there, and we thoroughly enjoyed their company. We only stayed here for a weekend, but would definitely house-sit for Kelsie and Same again in the future!!
We had the most amazing stay at Eleanor and Sean's lovely home looking after Pippa. Communication with Eleanor and Sean was great, and they were extremely kind to us by being flexible with our arrival and departure dates, cooking for us the day we arrived, getting in a few bits in advance of our arrival for us, allowing a friend to visit during our stay, letting us use their car and more! Pippa is an amazing and kind-hearted dog, and we had a great time taking her out for walks. She's extremely friendly, and after Sean took us out on 2 walks with her we were completely confident walking her off leash. After her morning walk Pippa spends most of the day outside but is always happy for some attention and belly rubs, and will often be found waiting by the car for you! She would spend evenings in the house with us and even slept in the bed a few nights too. The morning walks along the beach were fantastic - as well as seeing Pippa having a great time we saw flamingoes, kingfishers and more birdlife! The views of the mountains and the Delta are really nice too! We cannot recommend this housesit enough - we're missing Pippa already! Thank you once again Eleanor and Sean.
We cannot say enough good things about this sit. Shasha is one of the sweetest kitties and made our time with her so enjoyable. It didn't take her long to accept us and we loved having her nap on our laps and snuggle inbetween us at night. She does like her time to nap on the DVD player or sit on her perch looking out the window as well. She will gently let you know when it's time to eat and is pretty patient when she's a little early and has to wait. With her quiet little meows & soft purrs, she had us wrapped around her little paw right away. Her eating schedule and overall care is very easy. Everything about Shasha & the house was explained very well in the best Welcome Guide we have ever received on a pet sit. We appreciated the time it took to put together such a detailed guide and it made our time there so easy and stress free. Michael & Chung are wonderful people who make you feel welcome the minute you meet them. From the first video chat, the emails leading up to the sit, our face to face meeting and the entire time they were abroad, Michael's communication was top notch. He was open and honest about their expectations which made everything so easy. Their home is in a very quiet & peaceful spot up on a hill. It is not close to any major towns but Michael had advised us of that and we came prepared with all of our supplies. I'm sure there is a lot of things to do in the area but we just enjoyed our time with Shasha and took advantage of their amazing theater room!! The guest room had a comfy bed & plenty of space for our things. We appreciated the large bathroom and super hot shower! Their home is cozy and comfortable and has everything you need. We felt at home instantly. We highly recommend this sit and would definitely come back in the future!!
