Sheanne
Sheanne is the most generous, welcoming and kind hearted lady. Despite her having to cancel her holiday due to injury she invited us to stay with her. After a quick discussion we decided to do exactly that as we had added on a camp site stay in the locality. We hoped we could also be of some assistance to Sheanne during our stay and helped out where we could. Her beloved “boys” are two lovely elderly gentlemen who were no bother at all. They accepted the occasional bit of a fuss but in general are very independent. Sheanne’s home has every mod con you could need with the most wonderful bespoke kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. The location is quiet countryside and the garden and patio a haven of peace with many birds feeding through the day. On our first night a red deer stopped and gazed in the window at us. Magic! Thank you Sheanne for allowing us to share your peace of heaven.

Heather
This was my first Trusted House Sitters experience and the bar has been set high by Hank and Heather. Hank is such an easy dog to take care of and I was sad to leave him at the end of the sit. He loves to snuggle and was great on his walks around the neighborhood. I can’t wait to watch him again!
Heather’s home is lovely and has a beautiful guest room. I immediately felt comfortable and liked that Heather was easy to reach if I had any questions.
This was truly a wonderful experience!

Kyle & Rachel
Rachel and Kyle were absolutely lovely to sit for. Their home is as cute as it looks, and all instructions were clear and easy to follow. They communicated regularly and they were very warm and accommodating of things that I needed. Iroh is a super sweet and easy kitty. He is pretty vocal- I adored him but if meowy cats get on your nerves you might have a hard time with him. Overall a really fun, positive sitting experience.

Deirdre
We really enjoyed housesitting in Deirdre and Reddall's enchanting home with Fergus the gregarious Westie and other members of the menagerie. All set in a great location in Orange. We cycled into town via the wetlands on a couple of occasions and enjoyed good coffee and food from various cafes.
We would love to return in the future.

Hennie
I really enjoyed this sit! Be mindful that for one person there is a fair amount to do with the domestic pets + outside animals so you must be fairly mobile and happy to work to a schedule. But if you love animals and rural life like I do, you will really enjoy this experience. Hennie and Pete are great hosts, the animals are lovely and it's a lovely home to look after!

Carole and Mark
Carol and Mark, Zorro and Zeta are great hosts! Carol has all the details about the house and area as well as taking care of the kitties. The home and cats areas maintenance. Cats need food and your lap to be happy. Their place in Desert Hot Springs is a great HQ for the area - real hot springs, Palm Springs, hiking, San Jacinto beauty all around. And their complex has workout, pool, sauna as a bonus. Thanks for the opportunity to stay and care for the kitties.
