My sit with Ollie was terrific. He's a treat-focused floofer who is a bit shy at first. I enjoyed getting to know him. Lisa's place is very comfortable. There's a great little market connected to her building. If you like to go for neighborhood walks you'll love this spot. Lisa is a good communicator and navigated her first experience on Trusted Housesitters very well. I'd sit with Ollie again for sure. Recommended sit!
This was an excellent sit all round. The cats are lovely, and delightful to look after. The birds are easy care, and chatter away all day. The location is an easy walk into downtown Monterey, which is a pleasant place to explore. Patti is a great host. She invited me to stay the nights before and after the sit, picked me up from the airport, drove me to a supermarket, and generally made me feel very welcome. And she is good company, we had several interesting chats. I would happily sit for Patti again.
Louise has been nothing but kind, generous and flexible, picking me up from the station etc. Communication was clear from the start and throughout. The house is beautifully finished with gorgeous views and the area is blissfully peaceful. Charlie is the chattiest cat who knows what he wants. Independent, friendly, and affectionate.
What a lovely sit this was! Poppy, the pup is an absolute sweetheart and we were sad to have to say goodbye. She is so gentle and is such a good girl. She is also so snuggly...it brought great joy. Gunther is such a talker! It is so fun to hear him communicate with us as well as Poppy. Also a very sweet kitty and likes to be petted. Stella is more of a loner and we did not see her much but she would come out now and again to let us know she was ready to eat:) We would love to stay again :)
I did a brief sit at Zoe's, looking after Mimi. Communication went smooth and Zoe and her partner were very accomodating, even though we had to organise the sit last minute. It was a hit: Mimi was great company and an absolute angel, with her kitten-like appearance and her sweet personality. The fully equipped apartment is stunning and so is the location. Among the best views I've seen in Rotterdam! I would be happy to sit for them again.
Such a great sit in Walthamstow looking after the absolute heart throb Lenny the cat! Oliver and Katherine made us feel right at home in their fabulous house by showing us around in person and even gifting us a huge crop of their home grown tomatoes and chillis which we put to good use throughout the week! We would definitely recommend this sit as Lenny is the cutest cat in the world and we would love to return!
