Oh my gosh. If you just need some time to spend out in nature with some animals, and to eat from the garden, this is the best opportunity you've got. ♥️ Pets For the most part, everyone was super easy to give care for! Most of the responsibilities were just giving everyone food and water twice a day; with the amount of animals, and with the size of the property, this usually took about 1 hr/75 minutes each morning and night. It is admittedly a lot of information to absorb in the beginning, and also, it becomes really straightforward and easeful once you’ve done it a couple of times. There was only one time when the wild cow herd wandered up towards the road, so I got to bring them a couple bales of alfalfa and yodel them back down the valley, which was honestly just an adventure! The goats were definitely troublemakers :D in a funny, endearing and sometimes exasperating way. They got out several times during my stay, and it was fairly straightforward getting them back into their paddock (they’re super food motivated!). The cats are all super sweet. The two that live at the main house, Oscar & Venti, are so affectionate- Venti just needed a couple of days to warm up to me first. :) The dogs are the BEST. Seriously. It was wonderful driving around in the Kubota with them, and they even helped me with corraling a silkie chicken that couldn’t make its way back into its enclosure. They’re both so intelligent, loving and affectionate, and I’m going to miss them a lot. Sharon & Ted asked that the dogs not be left alone for more than 2 hours; I honestly just took them with me everywhere because I didn’t want to leave them in the car, or at home alone. They were my adventure buddies :) They super love walking free on the trails at the house and going to the beach. Angus gets a little anxious around other people and other dogs, so it’s a good idea to just put him back on the lead if you meet other people/dogs. And due to his epilepsy, you do need to sleep with your door open, so you might get woken up at night by the dogs moving around (or Oscar or Venti, coming in to love on you). Location Is just far enough away from the town of Brookings. You can't hear any traffic noise from the property at all :) And you’re surrounded by forest, have views of the ocean, and the stars are just incredible on clear nights! The beach is 20 minutes away (I absolutely recommend checking out Whaleshead Beach) and the town itself was about 25 minutes away. Home Was spotless and so well organized! It was hard to see how I could leave it better than I found it. Sharon loves cooking and baking so there are a lot of fun appliances to play with in the kitchen. And it was so nourishing to eat from the garden and have fresh eggs every day. Hosts Sharon & Ted were absolutely wonderful! They both have so many stories to tell, and they deeply love and care for their land and for their animals. Due to a scheduling miscommunication, I arrived a day early, and they were happy to accommodate me. They showed me how to care for the animals and made sure I had everything I needed both for my stay and for the animals. They were super communicative whenever I reached out with questions or needed help during my stay, and also so appreciative when they came back and saw how everyone/everything had been cared for. Overall, I had a really amazing stay, and would absolutely come again if I had the chance! Thank you both so much for sharing your home and trusting me with your space and with the animals!
We had such a wonderful time sitting for Gillian. Communication was spot on. They must have spent hours preparing the online welcome manuals, everything you need is writen down and so well organized. All the recommendations were fantastic. The house and location was perfect for us, really comfortable. Tiggy for us was the star of the show and we will miss her increadably. She is so loving and fun. Our little boy made such a bond with her. We would love to sit for them again.
What a great sit! The house is gorgeous and well located to Queensferry and public transport. Great communication and clear expectations. Ziggy was a dream and warmed up to me quite quickly! I definitely recommend this sit for future sitters - wish I could return!

Jenny is the best!!! I live about half an hour from Daisy's dog retreat and there are many boarding options very close to me. However this is my boarder of choice. Jenny is great with my not so friendly Chihuahua, and my Golden retriever loves her! I mean what other dog boarder has a large screen TV specifically for the dogs to watch!!! Wish I could give 10 stars
I had a wonderful experience at daisey's!!! It was my first time bording my dog Madison and wIll admit, I was a bit nervous at first. Ginny the owner made me feel at ease and comfortable leaving my baby there. The kennel was so clean and plenty of space for my 70lb dog to run! I can't wait to bring Madison back for maybe just the day if I'm working to have some fun!
Our kuvasz had never been away from home in her 10 years. Not an easy breed but clearly at home with Ginny.... so relieved to have a place that we all feel comfortable with, and one where we know our special old girl can stay. The facility is clean and very accommodating. So happy to have a location that is both beautiful and convenient. Ginny made a point of letting me know klara was doing well and asked questions that were important for her to also feel comfortable caring for such a fickle breed of dog. Really pleased with Ginny at Daisy's doggie retreat!

My dogs have been going to Must Love Pawz for 13 years now (since before it changed ownership and was rebranded.) We daycare during the week and sometimes even on a busy Saturday, board a handful of times each year and love their add-on services like baths/nails, one on one sessions (especially in the pool in warmer months). There’s no question the ownership makes sure that every employee truly “must love pawz” and the hello hugs and goodbye belly rubs they give my pup every time she arrives and leaves are a testament to the love my dog feels with them. The daycare package deals they offer are very reasonable and worth purchasing as they come at a significant discount. I also highly recommend upgrading to a room for boarding especially with larger dogs and if you’re going to have a long board and your pup is used to getting all the snugs at home adding on a cuddle session or two during your stay. Forever grateful for this place, their people and services!
I am so pleased with the care my dog receives at MLP. My boy used to struggle with meeting new dogs, didn't have good recall, and begged at the table. Since going to MLP he now initiates play with new dogs, can walk/hike off leash, and lays in place while we eat. He has learned manners and uses them daily. He dances in the back sit as we get closer to daycare and runs straight to the door. After daycare he is tired out from all the scents, barking, playing, and stimulation. He is a new dog and I feel safe leaving him there. I am grateful to the staff who greet him every morning, loves him all day, and say meaningful goodbyes in the evening.
An amazing doggy daycare with caring and well trained staff!! My 19-week-old GSD, Link, always runs out of the car and to the door in excitement so he can play with all his friends, and he always comes home happy and tired! I also love that they have a treadmill that they can train the dogs on, because I was planning on buying a treadmill for a while, so this was a great head start to see if Link liked treadmills before buying one! The previous daycare I had him at felt so unwelcoming and "money first" focused, but here I have had staff give helpful, positive reinforcement tips on Link's training, and have been very warm and friendly to both of us! They also have puppy-focused care that allows the puppies to have more frequent potty breaks and naps, which I haven't seen any daycares nearby that offer that! This place has a lot of love and heart for dogs, so if you're looking for a doggy daycare, this is the place!
Boarded here a four times over two years for work travel. Last time I dropped my pups off was around 8 months ago. Employees immediately remembered them. This last time I ordered a bath for one of my pups who (first time no one knew) didn't like the dryer, and stressed chewed through their collar. When I picked them up they immediately went above and beyond and offered to comp the cost of the collar. Offering to refund cost for damage my dog did on their own collar while doing a service I asked for, Blew my mind. This place is crazy awesome. Excluding this one event there have been others that have proven to me they really care. Forget five stars. 10/5

My English Bulldog boards and occasionally attends the doggy daycare for the past few years, and each experience is simply amazing to both me and my pup. I have become more and more impressed with the service each year. Having an English Bulldog there are constant issues, and whenever something has occurred the staff at Cody's has gone above and beyond to take care of him. The staff is flexible and I can honestly say, when I go to pick up my dog- he never wants to leave just yet. He loves Cody's Cozy Pals, the staff unconditionally loves him, and I can completely trust the business with him- I am totally grateful for that. I highly recommend using Cody's Cozy Pals- between boarding, doggy daycare or even receiving a bath- you and your pet will be extremely satisfied. This is the place to take your pet and know that they will be safe and loved just how you love them.
I've been bringing my two dogs here for daycare and the occasional boarding for 4 years now and they absolutely love it! The staff are always friendly and greet us at the door. You can tell they really love animals because they greet the dogs before the humans! The clincher for me was when I brought my 4 year old and my 5 month old (at the time) puppy. One staff member told me the puppy may benefit from coming to daycare on her own without her sister for a while because they had become somewhat dependent on each other. My older girl loved having a quiet day away from the pup and the puppy had the chance to socialize with all sorts of other doggies. It just shows that Cody's puts the well being of the dogs above making an extra buck! They very easily could have kept collecting money for having both dogs there but they recognized what was best for the overall wellness of both dogs and acted accordingly! Amazing! I completely trust Cody's Cozy Pals with my pups. I've tried other places in the area and these guys go above and beyond. They offer extras like pool time during the summer (my girls LOVE the water), treadmill time (my puppy needs extra tiring out and practice concentrating on tasks), grooming, training (both obedience and agility), and holiday pictures. The holiday pictures are my absolute favorite because who doesn't love their pups dressed up in ridiculous costumes posed in front of a themed background? I wouldn't bring them anywhere else!! The level of care Cody's provides is unmatched!!
Great with my dogs !! They require pets to be dropped off for a day, no charge, to meet and greet before boarding. So when my dogs returned for their actual stay, they were comfortable and ready to play! great staff!! Very affordable ! Highly recommend
We've used Cody's services for taking care of our dogs for more than 8 years. We started before her formal day care center existed and she would care our dog at her home. She is a true animal lover and has always taken wonderful care of our pets. She made special consideration for our older dog when we used to take him to her facility, who is is very anxious outside our home, and her staff was very friendly and accommodating. We would easily recommend Cody to anyone looking for someone to take care of their day care needs.
Altamont Country Kennels is an excellent boarding facility! The owners and staff are all wonderful and they're fantastic with the animals. It's so reassuring to have such a reliable, safe, clean place to leave my dog when I need to go out of town without him. Highly recommended!
I am highly disappointed in this kennel for two reasons. First off, we took our havanese to be groomed, and the job was less than sub-par. Her face wasn't groomed, her nails were not cut and she looked like she went through a lawn mower. Second, I called to book our dogs for one night stay during our house closing. Jumped through hoops and filled out everything they required online, submitted our dogs' proof of vaccinations, and submitted a waiver they asked for due to a kennel cough issue at their establishment. Within 5 minutes after I submitted everything they required I received a phone call that they were canceling any couldn't accommodate. Very poor business practice here all around. I was thanked for "taking it so well"...really? What can I do? Never again will we go here or recommend to anyone. Very shoddy business all around.
I feel so so so at ease leaving my two dogs here! My dogs are super anxious and are slow to warm up to people, but they love everyone at Altamont Country Kennels!! A bit of a drive for those living in Albany, but it’s totally worth it!!! Love the owners as well ❤️
We have been bringing out dog for a few years now. The staff are wonderful and my dog is excited to be there when we have to go out of town. They are so kind and accommodating. I have nothing bad to say. I am so grateful for the care they give.

The kennel we had been using had recently closed. I was very hesitant and worried about having to find a new kennel. Previously, when my regular kennel was closed and I used a different kennel, my girl tore her ACL because she was let out into the play yard, when I gave specific instructions for her not to be let out in the play yard. But I was extremely happy with how ReRe was cared for here. She has a habit of not eating sometimes if she is really tired. But they made sure to let me know, in case that was out of the norm. We will continue to use them with the utmost confidence that ReRe is well taken care of.
I've used this kennel for both boarding and for dog grooming. The place is spotless. My dog is always given a thorough washing and great cut. I toured the kennel prior to my first time boarding my dogs. It was very clean and didn't have any odors. I've boarded both my dogs and my cats (cats kept in a different building than the dogs, which is less stressful for the cats)there, several times. My pets were very well taken care of. The owners are very caring and trustworthy. I know that I do not have to have any worries about my pets while they are there! I highly recommend using this kennel. You can trust that your pets are being properly attended to and that all of their needs are being met.

They care very much about each and every dog and want them to be well and have a great time at camp! The specials they have ie. Hot Dog Day are always great for the dogs! A safe and first rate run camp for your dog!
I love Camp Bow Wow, more importantly my dog does too! The staff are always friendly and accommodating. They respond quickly to booking requests and any questions. The environment is clean, current and inviting. My dog loves going and is fun to watch on the streaming cameras. Staff are always alert and watch the dogs continually. Boarding at Camp Bow Wow is great as well. I needed to change my plans and they were more than happy to keep my dog longer than I had anticipated. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow for day camp and boarding.
I’m a “single dog mom” who needs to go into the office to work part of the week. I’ve also needed coverage occasionally on a Saturday. I’m so grateful for a place like Camp Bow Wow. My girl Luna is always so excited to go there. She comes home tired and happy. I haven’t tried boarding yet but we will in October. And I feel confident she will be in good hands!
Everyone is always friendly and welcoming. I love being able to check up on our golden whole I am at work on the live cameras. I feel very comfortable leaving our girl with the staff at Camp Bow Wow. Their groomers always do a great job.
My pup, Honey, has been at Camp Bow Wow for three months. Love the flexibility in scheduling and the ability to add on enrichment classes for mental stimulation and training. My pup always feel safe and comes home happy and tired. She is always greeted by name by the caring staff. Parents can watch their dogs play throughout day and watch the sanitation process - so important these days.
I purchased a 5 full-day daycare package and 2 nights of boarding for our dog, Hudson. We used 3 of the daycare visits to get him used to Camp Bow Wow. This was his first time ever sleeping away from home and he is very attached to us so we were a little nervous. He did great with the boarding - was kept safe and secure. The staff is very caring and will follow any special instructions you have to make your dog happy! The building is also spotless. The pet cams are fantastic - it gives you peace of mind being able to watch your dog in the play yards! Thank you for taking care of our boy! Love it there!
The friendly staff and how helpful they are with all of our concerns. My dog is so happy there. For an old man dog (13 years old) with health problems, I’m glad I found an affordable place that loves on my dog while I’m at work or out of town!
We got a puppy right as COVID started and quickly learned the importance of training your puppy right away. Thank goodness for Camp Bow Wow and their virtual training! Teddy had so much fun taking the classes. The teacher was great and did such an outstanding job teaching us how to train Teddy. Highly recommend them!
My dog loves Camp Bow Wow! He gets excited the minute we pull into the parking lot. I know I don’t have to worry about him when I leave him there.

I highly recommend booking with Laura! She has taken great care of my four cats while I was away for both short and long trips, and I would not hesitate to call her again. You can expect to regular communication, including daily photos of your pets, and will rest assured that your pets are in good hands. Laura cares for your pets as though they were her own! Finally I would emphasize that Laura’s rates are very reasonable and I appreciated her availability during the holiday season.
Laura is wonderful! I’ve gone on several week-long trips and she has reliably fed my cat and given her snuggles, while giving me individualized report cards and photos. I’m also very particular when it comes to my cat’s feeding schedule and my home door lock/security system can be finicky, but Laura handled both like a pro. Highly recommended!
Laura is amazing!!! She has been walking my dogs for at least 2 years and they love her! She is very caring, responsible, and dependable....even has helped with emergency check-ins. She works with my crazy schedule and even helps reinforce training. 1000% percent recommend her!!
Laura is the best dog walker we could ask for! She is incredibly kind and clearly cares about all the dogs she sees. After every walk she sends us a map of where they walked with pictures and videos every single time. She also goes above and beyond for her clients. I have used Laura for my dog probably 6 times. I know my dog is well taken care of when I am out of town and I always receive updates throughout. I HIGHLY recommend, especially if you want the type of care that a boarding facility cannot provide. My dog adores Laura and feels so comfortable with her.
Laura has been a godsend for my dog and me! She is so reliable, kind, and caring! She came so highly recommended to me and I recommend her to everyone I know. Laura is absolutely reliable and my cats love her. She consistently goes above and beyond. She does little things beyond just pet care that make a huge difference, like bringing in packages and mail, and taking care of plants. She also is always willing to jump in at the last minute when plans change, which they often do. Having Laura taking care of my cats takes a huge weight off my mind when I am away.

Maribeth and Cindi are the best of the best. This is my first time hiring a pet sitter for my sweet Chloe - and let me tell you - I was so hesitant to hire anyone that I almost considered not going on vacation. Cindi to the rescue. From the minute I met Cindi, I liked her. She has devoted so much her life to caring and loving on other people's pets - you could tell that she genuinely cares. Cindi sent me such comical write ups daily (twice a day) and a photo. I could tell Chloe was happy and enjoying her time with Cindi. My girl is passive, but social and she pretty much was in charge of her digs while allowing Cindi in to feed her and give her much craved pets and love. As a matter of fact, Chloe loved Cindi so much - she's currently on her picky-food-strike at the moment. I mentioned this to Cindi and her response was.... "Do you want me to go over there and feed her?" Hilarious. In all sincerity - If there were a 10 star rating - Maribeth and Cindi would both get 10 each. Thank you for loving on my girl and for making sure she was well cared for and not forgotten while I was away.
Maribeth and her team were life savers! She was able to squeeze us in last minute when we were suddenly without a pet sitter for an upcoming trip. We messaged her and she came the same day to meet us and our dogs. Her team took great care of our dogs, sending regular reports and photos. The dogs always looked so happy. Pup-e-size took care of our 3 cats while we were on vacation. They came in and fed them following our directions to the letter, gave them their treats and meds and even took care of the litter box. They sent us an update with pictures and I knew when they checked in and when they left. They came 2x a day for a full week. The kittens got to stay in their home environment and it was a fraction of the cost of boarding them! I would reccomend them again and again.
We have used them to care for our cats numerous times & have been so happy. Besides caring for our cats they send us daily reports & pictures which make us feel so much more comfortable. Pup-e-cise is amazing. The care that Val in particular provides to our elderly cat when we go away provides us with great peace of mind. The daily written updates (including a photo) helps us remain connected to our pet while we can't be there in person. I cannot say enough amazing things about the Henry Loves Betty team! Over the last 3-4 years, we’ve utilized just about every service they offer- daycare, training, dog walks, grooming, boarding and social club (a genius feature). Our little corgi has been going to Henry Loves Betty since she was about a year old and she feels safe, is always exceedingly well cared for and I know they are sneaking in training sessions because she is so polite, responsive and social. We’ve moved 2 hours away and still try to bring our dog for grooming, boarding and daycare a few times a month. This team truly cares deeply for your pet and with our busy schedules we our so grateful that they are responsive and really work to help us manage our schedules without compromising quality of care for our fur baby. Social club has helped make Peach a braver pup and explore more! I love seeing her play in puddles, and become less adverse to water and rain because she’s had outdoor adventure fun with other dogs. Also, the community of pet parents and owners are so wonderful! Doggy birthdays, celebrating wins and just saying hi and asking about your pets when they see them. Aislinn has been grooming our mini goldendoodle since he’s been a puppy and always does a fantastic job! She really cares and is so patient. Would highly recommend!
I've trusted Aislinn to groom my two dogs for over two years. She handles them with love and care as if they were her own. They leave happy and clean, smelling yummy and adorned in a new bandana. I am able to drop them off at their appointment time and pick them up right after they are finished so I don't have to leave them all day.
Our dog has never left a groom happier! We have a excitable and sometimes nervous Bernese Mountain Dog and Aislinn does a great job with him every time.
Henry Loves Betty has been a lifesaver since getting my dog Keene as a puppy last March. I can’t imagine going through the potty training stage without the help of their puppy program and daily walks. Now that he’s a bit older, I love sending him to daycare or social club to help keep him entertained and well socialized. They always give such thorough updates and I love getting pictures of Keene while I’m at work. I was SO happy to hear when they started offering dog grooming. Being that Keene is a doodle, I knew I’d need to find a trustworthy and reliable groomer for him to see regularly. Keene started first with a few puppy trims to get him comfortable with being groomed and handled, and then transitioned into getting full, adult cuts. My favorite thing about their grooming is that it’s only Aislinn and your dog there when they’re getting groomed. This not only allows for less distractions that could overwhelmed an uncomfortable dog, but means that Aislinn’s full attention is on your dog. Keene and I have both had such positive experiences with her grooming—with him being so excited to see her and “hangout”, and me always being impressed with how great he looks after. Overall, the whole staff is phenomenal at HLB! They are all so knowledgeable and truly treat your dog with so much love. If you’re considering using any of HLB’s services, I highly recommend—you will not be disappointed!!
Nothing but wonderful praise for Paula and the loving care and attention she always gives to Zoey when she’s boarding! I used to worry about Zoey being stuck in a kennel for days on end with no exercise, love and attention. Not anymore! This is the best doggy daycare place ever. We love the owner and all the staff so much. They truly treat all the pups with love and care, and go above and beyond on everything! The daycare facility is always well kept and clean. Our dog loves going to daycare so much that when we are going towards the direction of Troy she starts being impatient. They post videos and photos of the pack playing almost daily on their Instagram story which is super cute and amazing. They also offer boarding service that's very reasonably priced. We were worried about boarding our dog at first because she had bad experiences with boarding before, but she absolutely loves boarding with HLB. Paula would even pick up our dog to board and drop her off which is super convenient for us. We receive daily updates and photos of her as well. We've recommended Henry loves Betty to many people because this is a truly wonderful place for dogs to hang out with each other.
We bring our dog all the way from Saratoga to get groomed by Aislinn. No matter the condition of his hair, she always has him looking perfect and exactly the way we want it every single time, all in a very timely manner! I will never bring my dog anywhere else as long as I live around here and she is still grooming! The shop is in a perfect location. Although being in the heart of Troy, there is never any issue with parking. There are plenty of places to eat, relax, shop, etc all in walking distance while your dog is getting groomed. If you’re in need of a groomer, especially if they are some sort of doodle, this is the spot!
We recently moved to Troy and needed drop-in service for our cats. Henry Loves Betty is the best local choice for us. The prices are about the same as private sitters, but the service is more professional. It's also reassuring to know that if a sitter has an emergency and can't make it, they will find someone who can. The sitter was excellent. We received an update with photos every visit. I will use them again.
We are so grateful to have found Meg to take care of our puppy Ruby. Ruby has spent days and nights at Megs and she loves it! She loves playing with her fur baby friends and she loves spending time with Meg. We know Ruby is safe and loved every time she is with Meg in her home.

Meg is outstanding! We went on vacation and she took care of our 2 dogs, Champ and Rosco, and our cat Gypsy as her own. But when she noticed the plants needed watering, she took care of them also. Going on vacation is so much easier now. Thank you very much.
Meg is amazing, my animals absolutely adore her! I cannot begin to cover how amazing it is to have multiple animals & still be able to travel with no worries! That was not always the case. Being able to leave town with zero worries is a godsend. When I moved into the area, Meg was a referral from another pet sitter that knew Meg could handle multiple animals, work with any breed and she would not shy away from special needs. The fact that all my furbabies absolutely love her is just icing on the cake. The furbabies and I are the fortunate ones, Meg makes it easy for us.
Meg is simply amazing! We have 2 black house panthers that are extremely skittish. We were extremely nervous how they'd behave with her, whether they'd come out to eat or not. When Meg visits to feed them they greet her at the door and accept chin scratches. They hide from everyone else but not Meg. She has a very calm and soothing energy that animals respond to. She is truly a house panther whisperer! Can't recommend her enough!
Headed out of town for Christmas and a week before leaving we realized we needed a sitter for our Bunny Lola. Found Meg online and she came to the rescue. She was extremely reliable and prompt. She was willing to come to my place for daily visits with Lola which worked out great for Lola. She is now listed in my contacts as Bunny sitter for future vacations. Defiantly recommend. We were heading out of town for a week and ran into a pinch trying to find a reliable pet sitter/boarder. All the big names were booked and couldn’t accommodate and most didn’t even answer their phones or call me back. On the second day of research and phone calls I came across Meg’s business. She was able to squeeze our Sherman into her schedule. What a blessing! Her high reviews were accurate in describing her quality of service, care, and competitive prices. She’s very personable, loves dogs and spoils them rotten! Sherman did not miss us! Haha! Every other day she sent photos and videos of the fun, friends and activities that the dogs were enjoying. You CANNOT get the level of care anywhere else like with Meg. It proved to be more of a home than a business, a passion more than a profit for Meg. I will DEFINITELY be recommending her to all my friends and booking with her in the future.

From the first meet-and-greet, Jess demonstrated that she is a caring, competent, professional person with lots of personal and work experience caring for pets. She has helped us out with walking and pet-sitting multiple times. When I asked her advice about our mischievous cattle dog mix Artie slipping out of his harness when overwhelmed, she suggested sizing it down - and she was totally right! Most notably, she helped us by watching our rambunctious boy Artie when we went to California for a week. There were several near-catastrophes that Jess navigated with utmost professionalism. When she first arrived, she couldn't enter through the garage and quickly realized the power had gone out. I was at the airport several hours away, and she very quickly did some troubleshooting and made sure our boy was cared for promptly. Thankfully the power was restored quickly and a locksmith was able to meet her to emergently make a hard key copy. She updated us throughout the week about how Artie was doing - including a moment where he was so scared of a loud military plane flying overhead that he slipped out of his harness! Jess scooped him right up, all 37 pounds of him, and held him until he was calm and she could secure his harness and collar again. We're so thankful that she was there to handle everything so competently. Would definitely recommend Jess and Barkers for your pet sitting and walking needs! Great business all around. We called them and left a voicemail, and got a call back within an hour. All of their prices are posted on the website, and they take cash, check, credit card, and PayPal. Extremely friendly, competent, and reliable. They are the only ones I trust with our dogs and even fish.
My dog has been a part of several services offered by Personal Paws (board and train, day boarding, training sessions). While the staff claims exceptional care and knowledge about animals, my experiences have revealed inconsistencies. During my dog’s board and train program, she was never administered her flea and tick preventative. Upon pick-up, I was informed that she may have an ear infection. However, upon veterinary examination, it was discovered to be a severe double ear infection that had festered for an extended period. This information should have been provided prior to my pick-up, considering the dog’s poor ear condition. The communication process has been consistently poor. I have had to make multiple inquiries to receive responses, and at times, I have waited over a week for responses regarding services I was paying for and questions. In some instances, the responses have been unprofessional. This is unacceptable from a professionally run business that claims to prioritize client care. Regrettably, my dog fell ill after attending one of their services, which is a potential risk. Upon informing them of her diagnosis of “Kennel Cough” and providing documentation from a licensed veterinarian confirming the diagnosis, their response was inadequate. They failed to close their facility for cleaning or inform any clients of the potential virus still circulating within their premises. Due to her illness, I kept her home to prevent further spread. I was offered a 50% refund due to her condition or the option to reschedule my dog’s stay. However, I discovered that the rescheduled dates for day boarding had not been added to their calendar. When I brought this issue to the staff’s attention and provided the original emails as evidence, I was informed that refunds were not possible and that my dog had not been rescheduled for any dates. While I acknowledge that their website clearly states that refunds are not available, I was informed via email by the business I could receive a 50% refund due to her illness. Additionally, I am disappointed that my dog was not scheduled for day boarding as I had been informed. Never once was any responsibility taken by this business for the clerical error or obvious miscommunication. For any potential new clients considering personal paws, I would suggest you look for other options as I will be in the future. *Upon posting my google review I received a very unprofessional email from personal paws that came across retaliatory in nature. Despite this, I will not remove my review as I believe the information I have to share is vital for all pet parents looking into services for there animals. *
Kait and Emma at Personal Paws have given me and my husband the chance to build our relationship with our pups. I have complete confidence in the training we get from Emma not only for our dogs but for what she teaches us to be the best pet parents we can be! For 3 years, our English lab would wake up at all times during the night and Emma told us to stop giving in and to stop waking up. She gave us the control back in our household that we desperately needed. We reached out to Personal Paw’s when we got our dog as a puppy. We knew we wanted to train her so she would be happy and have lots of freedom and we didn’t know where to start. Kait took the time to do a call with us and answer so many questions and get us set up to start working with Emma. She also helped us out with canine nutrition which was huge for us. We didn’t know she had food allergies and their guidance helped us figure out the best way to feed her. To say Emma is an angel walking this earth is an understatement. The way she works with animals and with our family in particular changed our world. We went from having no idea how to train and manage a high energy puppy to having a trusting relationship with all the best ways to play and give her all the ways to enjoy and experience life with us; as truly a part of our family. We could not be happier with our continued work with Emma and the care Emma and Kait take of our Gracie Girl when we board her. They are beyond amazing trainers, and humans. It’s truly been a pleasure getting to know these ladies. My son said it best “I wish everyone that has a dog gets to work with Emma!”
We did 6 plus weeks of board and train with our German Shepherd Bea. I can't begin to tell you how excellent the care and training she received there!! We were sent home with homework and Bea is doing so well at home with what she learned there!! We go back for two more sessions. We're going away this summer and she was going to board at our Vet and we are now boarding her there due to the great care!! Everyone there was great with her. Personal Paws is awesome! Our year old pup started structured walks a few weeks ago and what a difference already. Always on time and easy to reach out to if we have any questions. Their handlers are trained professionals and operate as such. Since their handlers are one-on-one with your pup we always get helpful instructions on how to communicate with our pup better after their walks. We appreciate all of their help and look forward to using their boarding services soon.
My family dogs have been going to Personal Paws twice a week for close to a year! They absolutely love heading to daycare & have become much better about being around both dogs and humans. Their walking/command skills are infinitely better, their confidence has increased and they are much calmer in public settings. Also if you follow Personal Paws on Instagram, you can see for yourself that these dogs are being properly taken care of every day! Can’t say enough good things.

There aren’t enough hours in the day for me to talk about how much I love this service. Wendy has been looking after our cats for years. She comes to the house every day, checks around to make sure everything looks good, feeds the cats, scoops their box, feeds the fish, and then spends 20 minutes or so giving the cats cuddles (and we know she does, because we have ring cameras, so we know when she arrives/leaves). She also brings in our mail and notifies us if anything on the property is amiss. Oh! And she sends us a detailed note with pictures every single day. Seriously, Wendy gives us so much peace of mind, which is worth the cost in and of itself, but she also deeply cares about the animals she’s looking after. I’d honestly recommend the service to everyone and anyone!!
Wendy and team have been taking care of our pups for nearly all of the 24 years Purrfect Pet sitting has been in business. I never have to worry about the dogs being well taken care of when we are gone. I love the great pics that they send so we can see their smiling faces and wagging tails.

These folks are terrific. We have used them four times already and are very comfortable leaving our three dogs in their care. They treat the dogs like their own pets. They are very good about taking care of the particular needs of each dog (one of our dogs is older and arthritic). The dogs are very comfortable with them. Communication is great. They leave detailed notes after each visit. The house is clean and they even bring in the mail and paper for us. We'd have no problem recommending them to friends and family.
