This is the best sit. Jerry and Jane are incredibly welcoming. They went above and beyond to welcome us into their home. Communication before, during and after was perfect.

The three cats are an absolute delight to care for. All three are very easy, chilled cats. Dandy and Miss Skippy in particular are affectionate and love cuddles. Prince occasionally enjoys a tummy rub. They are simple to feed and all the food was easy to find and dish out. Dandy’s medicine is easy to administer. It was hard to leave them!

The fish are lovely to look after, the children really enjoyed watching them swim.

The house and grounds are beautiful and very well organised. It’s so lovely watching the different types of birds come and feed in the garden.

It’s close to the city centre yet feels remarkably peaceful. It’s a lovely warm home, which feels perfectly set out.

We wouldn’t hesitate to sit again and recommend to others. Thank you again for blessing us with our stay.

Matthew
So enjoyed my time with Titus and Breck. They are both such cuddly, sweet dogs. They enjoy their walks, treats, get along so well with one another, and are easy to manage. Matt and Wes' house is beautiful and so comfortable. Wish it had been a little warmer while there so I could have spent time on the back patio! The location is great and so convenient to many amenities. Matt was super-responsive when I had a question. Happy to sit for them again!

Lydia
I had a wonderful experience, Hank was darling and the kitties warmed up to me fast. I so enjoyed the neighborhood and Lydia's place was super cozy! It was a treat to housesit/petsit for Lydia.

Barbara
Barbara's cozy home is a classic Portland house in a classic NW Portland neighborhood. Everything you need is within walking distance, and there are streetcars and buses nearby if you want to go even farther. I was there in September and so was able watch the swifts on their annual pilgrimage to the chimney at Chapman School, just a couple of blocks away -- a very Portland experience everyone should enjoy.
Mylo is an absolute sweetheart, just a big, goofy love bug. He knows which cafes and shops to hit for free treats and loves nice, slow walks. He doesn't show much interest in other dogs -- except other goldies, which he will want to play with! Playing is hard for him, though, because his back legs/hips are a little unstable and don't really let him pivot and get into play position; other dogs definitely can't be allowed to jump on him. His yard is fenced and he can be allowed to lie out in the sun as much as he wants to.
I didn't leave Mylo by himself very much but if I wanted to go out for food or for a run he was perfectly happy at home; he's a typically chill goldie and not at all a chewer or a counter surfer. All in all a very good boy and a pleasure to live with and care for!

Cara
This sit was a joy! Jasper, Jack, Jill, and the fish were easy and fun to care for. Cara also took the time to give us a tour of the place, a heads up on the spots to check out during our stay and tips on how to best care for her pets which made the sit that much easier! Looking forward to helping out again!

Mary
Mary has a cute home with everything we needed. Mary’s home is in a good location and convenient to shopping and restaurants. Jack is a wonderful dog and looks forward to his walks. Jack likes his belly rubs. Jack is a kind dog, loves to be with people and is a pleasure to have around. Mary was great with communication and the sit went smoothly. We would definitely take care of Jack for Mary again.
