We loved staying at Dorothy’s home and caring for Susan! Dorothy has decorated her home in a fun, artsy way and we noticed different pieces of art each day we were there. The view of the lake from the living room is amazing and we enjoyed watching as the water changed each day. Some days it was smooth as glass and other days waves were crashing against the shore. Dorothy left great instructions for caring for the house and Susan. We greatly appreciated that she had housekeepers come 2 days before we left. Susan is one of the friendliest cats we have ever met! He warmed up to us right away and loved sitting next to us as we were working or watching t.v He is very curious and loves to know what you are doing. He is a large, lovable fluff ball! We loved watching him and are looking forward to returning!
I am an experienced house/pet sitter of 10 years plus , and I can honestly say this was one was of my favourites ! Andrew and Angela’s home has a warm and comfy feel as soon as you walk through the front door . A beautiful home and garden . Private bedroom and ensuite , so lovely . Andrew’s welcome pack was explicit and covered everything you need to know for your stay to run smoothly. Both Angela and Andrew went beyond making me feel welcome and settled . Rudy and Mitzi are the cutest little dogs and our daily walks through the woods and along the canal towpath were dreamy . Beautifully behaved and truely loved pets. I will miss them . This area is a beautiful part of Wiltshire and if you’re a history buff like me ….. you’ll love it . If you ever want to sit for this family be fast , because you’ll have to beat me .
