Babbette and Carlos spent a week caring for our somewhat high-maintenance cats and our home. They were super communicative and met with us ahead of time, both in an initial video interview and at the house for an in-person walk through before the sit. During their stay, they gave us regular updates with pictures and notes and were attentive and affectionate with the kitty kids. They had no issues with our electronic locks or alarm system, which can be challenging for sitters at times. We came home to a spotless house and calm cats. We would welcome them back any time! Elizabeth had not met Kona before the sit. She communicated well before she arrived, brought special treats and I felt great about her preparedness and ease of coming into our environment. Kona had some great adventures with Ryan & Elizabeth and lots of pics/videos were sent throughout the week. Everything was tidy and perfect when I returned. I didn't have too much cell service while I was away but I felt confident that they had everything handled.
If you get the chance to sit for Melissa and Brad, you’re in for a treat! Their home is spacious and beautiful, complete with everything you could possibly need. It’s in a very nice neighborhood with great neighbors and easy access to the mountains. Melissa and Brad are friendly, hospitable, and helpful, and made us feel completely welcome in their home. Of course, Abby and Flurry were the real highlight. They’re super sweet (and totally quiet) dogs who just like to go on walks, take naps, and hang around their humans. We’d love to sit here again!
We had a great sit at Manuela and Ürs home. The home is well located, quiet, extremely clean and comfortable. We did not get to meet Manuela and Ürs face-to-face. However, all the instructions, directions and videos prepared by Manuela were perfect. Further communication was good and prompt. Momo the cat is super easy to look after. She is so cute. We wanted to pack her up in our suitcase. 😆 She is a real wanderer. You probably won’t see much of her when the weather is good. On rainy days she was around home more. Momo’s tracker app was easy to use. The small challenge was to recharge it whilst she was home and asleep. We had plenty of time to explore. Manuela provided excellent suggestions for drives and sightseeing. We were able to use their bikes for an extended bike ride by Zurich lake. We had a great time and would return again. Thank you again Manuela and Ürs for choosing us.
Unfortunately the sit was canceled by the homeowners due to Covid-19. I look forward to sitting for them in the future!
Sparky and Eenie are sweethearts, and adorable! Their feeding and water stations are set up conveniently. Norbert, the gecko, couldn’t be easier to care for. Sparky likes to play ball, go on runs and the beach, sunbathe on the deck, and get plenty of belly rubs. He’s energetic and loves to play. Eenie likes to keep to herself and spends most of her time in the garage, but when she wants pets or treats she’ll come out to get them. Jennifer and Chris are amazing hosts! They are super nice, easy to communicate with, and flexible. They welcomed us into their home right away. The house was spotless and comfortable, and with a great patio area. It’s well-located in a neighborhood with easy access to public transportation, grocery stores, and restaurants. I would recommend it to anyone. We would love to stay there again.
We enjoyed a lovely long weekend at Frances and David’s beautiful house looking after Finlay, Charlie, Tommy and Rosie. Their barn conversation is situated in a very peaceful part of the countryside and despite its size, has an extremely homely, cozy feel to it with everything you need for your stay. Finlay is an amazing dog, so well behaved, intelligent and great fun to spend time with. He has boundless energy and his very partial to stick and balling throwing, not to mention his talent of bringing you one of his many toys when you call out its name. We had some fabulous long walks with him at Wroxham Beach and Earlham Park, which are both within easy reach by car and highly recommended. Charlie, Rosie and Tommy are all adorable cats……. So fluffy and soft with such a good nature. ( watch out for Tommy thou as he is extremely greedy and will seize the opportunity to hoover up any food lying around unattended!). We had great communication with Frances and David before, during and after our sit and the only down side was we didn’t have enough time to visit all the beautiful places the area has to offer during our 3 days! Thank you both once again….. a glowing 5 stars!
Where to begin with this wonderful sit? These are 2 awesome humans and 1 awesome pup all in cute cabin and a magical setting. They all stole my heart. Katrina & Caro are super hosts, kind, generous, well prepared and great communicators. They prepared a terrific manual of instructions including all the care and feeding of Oatmeal as well as the many unique upgrades they have done with fireplaces and outdoor shower just to name a few. The location is spectacular and the home super cozy and very clean. I was in awe looking out the windows at the lake. Oatmeal is sure to capture your heart, she is a sweet love muffin and very well behaved. She is high energy and loves her walk and playtime but when she is at home, she snuggles and plays with her toys and just enjoys hanging out with you. I had the best week staying at Caro and Katrina’s with Oatmeal and it was hard to leave. If you’re a nature lover like me and have the opportunity for this sit, you’ll really enjoy yourself. Oatmeal will warm your heart and the setting will nourish your soul.
