Liz and Rob Noble did an excellent job at minding my condo and 2 house cats in Hawaii Kai, Hawaii. While I was whale watching in Southern Baja, Mexico they fed, cleaned up and played with my 10 year old Matthew and 11 year old Lizbeth. Throughout my sojourn, when near wi-fi, I received timely updates in photo and video form of my pets. I had absolutely no qualms about leaving them with Liz and Rob for the 11 days I was away. Similarly, they took care of my condo and car, leaving them cleaner. This is a dynamite duo and you will be lucky if you can snag them for your house-sit!
Grace was very welcoming and gave us clear instructions. She picked us up at the tram station and provided us with dinner when we arrived. She was always kind and easy to communicate with. The house was super clean, spacious and modern. The location was pretty ideal for us. There are several grocery stores nearby as well as a farm we often went to with Leon. It is also just a 20 minute ride with the public transit to the city center of Basel. Leon is a super playful, energetic and loving dog. When we were house sitting he was still pretty young so we were often at home due to his potty breaks. However that was communicated by Grace so we knew what to expect. We loved taking care of him and the guinea pigs Fiji and Shuga. Totally recommend.
I had such a lovely stay with Roma, she is the sweetest! She was a little shy at first but warmed right up to me. The home was beautiful, perfect location next to a park and restaurants, I would definitely recommend!
I had a great week with Ruby and Foxy. The neighborhood is very walkable, with lots of parks and a proper High Street. There is a nearby commuter train into the city for cultural breaks, but there is plenty to do in the area as well. The house is very comfortable, and the family are terrific. Great communication between the owners before and during the sit.
We had the most amazing 4 months stay in the cottage. The property is surrounded by picturesque woodland grounds with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. It is very comfortable, centrally heated, also has an open fireplace and excellent WiFi. Andrew and Judith are very gracious hosts, treating us to a lovely meal, provided detailed information on the property and were always quick to respond if we had to contact them re any queries we had. It was so nice to visit the Dordogne during a different season as we had only ever been there in the summer months. The property is approx 20 mins from the Town of Bergerac which has lots of shops, nice restaurants and is rich in cultural heritage. We really appreciated the chance during our stay to visit charming villages, sample the best French cuisine, explore local markets, taste great wine from nearby vineyards and immerse ourselves in all the Dordogne had to offer. An unforgettable experience which we really appreciated and highly recommend.
Wonderful kitty cat; wonderful location; wonderful folks!
We had a fantastic time at this house sit. Kathy and Esme were very welcoming and provided us with everything we needed. Their home has so much character, it was very spacious and clean. I can imagine it is a great place to stay anytime of year. The weather was cool but sunny so we spent a lot of time in the garden during the day but in the evenings we played board games by the fire. It is the perfect place to spend a relaxing weekend. Basil and Rosie are two of the friendliest dogs I have ever met, giving us a very warm welcome. They spent all weekend by our side, giving us cuddles and keeping us company. Sometimes when pet sitting you worry that the dogs will feel anxious without their owners around and will take some time to warm up to you but this definitely was not the case. They are so affectionate and have a very gentle temperament. Kathy and Esme allowed us to use their car, pre-booked us a private field to use every morning and they also had cooked then frozen home-made dinners for the dogs so all we had to do was defrost them. This was really helpful and made the stay so easy. We really appreciate Kathy and Esme trusting us in their home and with their lovely dogs and would love to come house sit for them again!
