We struck gold with Abbi and Martin!
They dropped by for lunch a few weeks before we left on our ten week trip and we liked them immediately. More to the point so did our cockapoo Noodle! They are both friendly and outgoing and the communication while we were away was excellent, with photos and anecdotes which made us more than happy that Noodle and the house were being well looked after.
On our return, the house was immaculately clean and Martin had cooked us a delicious Irish stew, with colcannon (to celebrate St Patrick’s Day!) and apple crumble to follow. An extremely welcome and thoughtful gesture after a long flight.
I would not hesitate for one moment in recommending them as housesitters.
And I know Noodle is missing them too!

Frank & Danielle were exceptional house/dog sitters for us. We would highly recommend this competent, compassionate, caring couple to take care of your pets and home. Communication was excellent  and they were very organized. They went way above and beyond the call of duty/care for our 2 goldens. We had an unusual, stressful situation arise with one of our dogs and they were quick to communicate with us the issues as well as going to extraordinary lengths to get him the help he needed. (Navigating and communicating in a foreign language & country!) No small feat. We couldn’t have asked for a more caring response to a stressful situation we did not anticipate. We are forever grateful for the peace of mind they gave us while we were away.  Our dogs were in great hands. On top of that, they left the apartment in great shape and left us with a wonderful, delicious evening meal to enjoy upon our return.  Thank you again!

We cannot tell you how thrilled we were to have Shane and Hattie look after our two girlies again. From the moment they arrived back with us for their second sit here we felt instantly at ease and comfortable knowing that they were more than capable of looking after our two and fact going over and beyond looking after Missy and Lola.

We would get many daily updates with photographs and videos with lovely messages telling us what they had been up to on that particular day. I have to say that Hattie’s photography skills are excellent, and it always bought a smile to our faces to see both of our girlies in their various poses or activities. 

They left the annex spotlessly clean and tidy, which was a pure joy to come back to. Shane yet again spoilt us with some of his scrumptious baking, this time a delicious banana bread, so thoughtful!

You can tell that there is a genuine love of animals when meeting Hattie and Shane, and how they both have created a real bond with Missy and Lola. In fact when we arrived back from our time away and invited them both to have a cup of tea with us, the girlies seem to be more interested in them both rather than us!? 🤣

We really feel so very lucky to have found Hattie and Shane, and will keep everything crossed that they will be able to sit for us in the future.

I could not recommend this lovely couple more!both you and your pets will be extremely lucky to have them both
