Pet Sitters in Alderbury

Sophie and Tristan were absolute delights to have as our sitters. They stayed in our apartment with our cat for a month while my husband and I were incommunicado while traveling. It was a great relief to know that our home and cat were in good hands! They were easy to communicate with, flexible for our needs, sent periodic pictures of the cat (who always looked very cozy and snug!) and left the apartment in great order. We'd highly recommend them!

It was great that Michael could help out with a sit for me at short notice. He took such good care of Molly, and the house. He is tidy, friendly, easy to communicate with and a devoted dog lover. I would highly recommend Michael to anyone.

I cannot recommend Clare and Noel highly enough. They are models for what pet and house-sitters should be. They came to visit and meet me and the cats before the sit, so that Elvis and Tina (the cats) could start to get to know them well in advance of the actual sit. Clare and Noel also arrived a night early to take away any pressure of time – it was great for both me and the cats to have an evening and morning with them. It also gave us time to talk through everything in a relaxed way. Communication before, during and even after the sit has been wonderful. I had photos and videos every day, so I knew my kitties were happy and loved as the purring in the videos testified. Clare and Noel were self-reliant and also asked questions or checked in with me when needed – they showed really good judgement. They took good care of my home, even chopping some wood for kindling and handling communications with oil deliveries. I could not have asked for more care. I came home to a spotless house (and clean refrigerator!), washed linens and towels with the bed re-made and a few essentials in the refrigerator to help me my first day back – so so thoughtful. And Noel had laid a fire for me so I could have a cosy evening with no effort. I think my two cats miss them already, as do I 😊. I feel as though I have gained two new friends. We would all be very happy to welcome Noel and Clare back to Yew Tree Cottage. Thank you, Clare and Noel!

David and Fiona were fab pet/ house sitters. They catered beautifully for our two dogs, taking into account the dog’s different personalities. We felt confident having met them that the dogs and our home were in safe hands. A lovely, kind couple who were self sufficient and communicative Can highly recommend

Emma and her two girls were fantastic house sitters. Ex Royal Navy, enough said. Returned to a wonderfully clean home and a very fit dog.

Great sitter who came last minute for a night to help me out and walked Ditto on the beach. Please come back again soon!

Angele did a great job looking after our menagerie and plants for nearly 3 weeks. She is a natural with poultry and she was very diligent about caring for them. All the other animals were also well cared for. She was highly organised in the run up to the sit and she needed very little advice while we were away. The plants were also well watered. Her dog is delightful and totally accepted the resident pets. I would certainly recommend Angele if you want a self-sufficient, cheerful house sitter and particularly if you have poultry!

The dogs and cat were well looked after and very content. Karl and Safeena sent regular updates and pictures via WhatsApp so we knew everyone was happy for the whole of our holiday. Our house was also well looked after, plants watered and even some seedlings that arrived were potted up.

Jayne and Lee were excellent pet & house sitters. Our two dogs, Eddie and Winston were extremely well looked after, and we enjoyed receiving regular photos and updates of our “boys” from Jayne and Lee. Our house was immaculate on our return and it was lovely to catch up in person with Jayne and Lee before they set off. Eddie and Winston (who is currently pining a bit) and we would love to have Jayne and Lee back. We recommend them highly.

Kayla, Matt and Piper were frankly awesome. Lovely, lovely people; conscientious, considerate, kind and tidy. We've never used a house sitter or pet sitter before and were a little nervous, but could tell from the moment we met them that Otis would have a wonderful time with them, and he did. I can't recommend them highly enough. Your house and pets will be safe and cared for with them and you will meet some really lovely people too, which is a great part of the process. As Carole noted, she and Alan had sat for Izzie previously. They were easy to make arrangements with for the dates we needed (they even changed their plans in order to take care of Izzie and the house). They were also good in giving us a daily update on Izzie with the occasional photo. We arrived home to a welcoming cat and a very clean and tidy home. We are more than happy to recommend Carole and Alan to others.

Letitia looked after our cats and the house beautifully. She managed well in giving Max his medication and even managed to get cuddles with Edna. They both looked very well cared for when we arrived home. The house was also very clean & tidy - thank you so much Letitia for stepping in at relatively short notice and looking after things so well.
