Isabella and Felix have a spacious appartment right in the heart of Camden, a vibrant part of London that I love. There is a supermarket just a few minutes aways and there are pubs and restaurants everywhere. There are two tube stations at walking distance. We met the evening before the sit and Isabella showed me Milo's routine and how to operate the airco and other appliances around the house. I stayed in a really nice room with a personal bathroom. Milo is like a supermodel! Everywhere he goes people gasp and stare or come over to pet his soft fur or ask you all about him. He's superfriendly, very well trained and always happy. I loved taking him on walks past the canal to Regent's Park where he chased squirrels. He doesn't like being alone so I also took him all over Camden Town. I had planned on visiting other areas with him, but it was just too hot. The two times I really had to leave him for a few hours, Isabella watched him through a camera and comforted him. He did good. Isabella and I kept in touch daily, she always responded quickly to my texts and was very very relaxed when I burned the hob in the kitchen and felt really bad about it. Fortunately, it was fixable. I had the best time in Camden and would definately be back when asked. Any sitter that is lucky to stay with Milo will be in for a wonderful time.
Kobi and Mia are sweethearts, could walk for hours I imagine and lovely snuggle bears. A pleasure to sit. Joann is great to communicate with and her home is beautiful. The dogs and I hung out on the lovely back deck with it’s sectional couch and twinkle lights and the fabulous TV cave. I would be pleased to sit again.
As house sitters who recently had the pleasure of sitting at this property, we can say that it was a lovely experience. The first thing that caught our attention was the beautiful lookout from the house, which offered great views of the surrounding landscape. The owners were very kind and welcoming, making sure that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Their pets were sweet and shy cats who quickly warmed up to us. One of the enjoyable aspects of our stay was exploring the area on bikes. The location was quite bikeable, with plenty of scenic routes to choose from. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful estuary nearby, which was a natural wonder. Overall, our time at this house sitting position was wonderful. The stunning views, kind pet owners, and the opportunity for outdoor adventure made it a unique and memorable experience. We would highly recommend this opportunity to any house sitter looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
I really enjoyed this sit. Liz really went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and has been so helpful with everything, she is a lovely person! Roxy is an absolute sweetheart. She may start out kind of nervous, but give her a few days and she will come out of her shell and ask for belly rubs! She is always up for a long walk and will stick by your side in the apartment from morning till night which I found very cute! She is a local legend, and every day we meet someone on our walks saying “hi Roxy”. She has a lovely group of doggie friends at the local dog park. The area is very nice, loads of food options, some decent shopping and there is no shortage of options for walking routes! I dont think we took the same route more than once over the course of my stay. If you want a relaxing sit full of walks through the forest with a sweet senior dog, this would be a good option!
We loved our stay with Blue and Shadow. Hannah and Clayton have a comfortable, tidy home, and made us feel welcome and at home. We met them the day before the sit, and were introduced to the pups and got information about their routines. The dogs are sweet and well-behaved, and easy to care for. We found everything we needed for a pleasant stay, and enjoyed our communications and checking in with Hannah and Clayton. We definitely recommend this sit.
I had a very lovely, easy sit with Monty. He is a very friendly cat to be around and generally an all round sweetheart. We had a nice routine where we would spend the mornings hanging out on the patio in the sunshine together, then, after lunch, Monty would settle down in his chair for a snooze and I would go out for a couple of hours. Then I’d come home for dinner and to give Monty a belly rub or two. Libby and Sam were really friendly hosts and come were very straightforward. Their house is very nice and comfortable and a peaceful place to explore London from. I would definitely come again and recommend this sit to others. Thanks guys!
