Sarah and Darren, were very relaxed and made me feel very welcome. They even generously provided Chocolates, wine, bread and milk. They have a beautiful cottage right on the river Severn - gorgeous -; In a very lovely Cotswold village. The area is great for walking, some literally out of the front door! Wholly Gelato is a very short drive away and well worth having - very very good ice cream. Thank you both for choosing me to look after your beautiful house (what a fabulous setting), Tom and the fish, on this occasion. Tom is an absolute delight to care for. He is affectionate, talkative and quite a character. He has been a lovely companion. The walks literally just outside your back door are wonderful. Despite the weather I got out most days.
Dan and I have only amazing things to say about our stay with Emily’s animals! First and foremost, Emily and her family are warm and wonderful people. Emily was communicative and helpful throughout our stay. She gave us a tour of her home and pets, along with clear and concise information on how to care for their two cats Hazel and Annie, and their amazing dog Bailey. We already miss Bailey, for he is one of the sweetest (he’ll snuggle with you and play anytime), and most well behaved dogs we have ever met. He was a pleasure to walk, always sprinting happily back to us after hearing his name. Both kitties were very sweet and adorable and hung out with us most of the time. Emily’s home is spacious and in a great location, 25 minutes away from San Francisco, and with many close by cute neighborhoods in Oakland to visit. We loved our stay here and would recommend this to anyone!
We had a tremendous sit at Jeff’s house. The house has a view of Sandpiper golf course with the ocean and Santa Cruz Island peeking out behind it. The house was in good condition and sleeping accommodations were great. All major instructions were categorized and made into videos that could be referenced at any time. Watson was immediately friendly and Pumpkin took a day to come into balance. Both cats were very easy to care for. We would recommend this sit to anyone.
Beth was an amazing host and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. She communicated everything I needed to know about her home and Callie. Callie is a sweet, older dog, who loves her tennis balls. Whenever she goes out the door she waits for you to throw her a ball and Beth has a bucket full of them. She has an electronic fence so Callie can be outdoors without the worry of her running away, but she does love her walks. She is well behaved on the leash, but she can sniff out food from a long way away and is determined to eat it so she needs to be deterred when that happens. I would be happy to stay with her again.
Macy and Axel are simply the most divine cats to look after, so affectionate and cuddly and talkative. I loved my cat stay so much. Catherine was wonderful to liaise with in the lead up and during the stay and I would very happily cat sit for them in the future.
