We loved having Kayla and her family take care of our dog and chickens! She was so communicative and supplied us with some fun photos from the weekend which helped ease my pet mana anxiety. I could tell Frankie loved having a few kids around over the weekend to spoil her with hugs and attention! They also left the house in great condition which made our return all that much better. The kitchen was clean, sheets were washed, and nothing was left out. I would absolutely love to have them all back in the future!
Rebekah and Matt are experienced house- and petsitters who did a great job for us. A friendly, warm couple, they stayed in our house and cared for our three sometimes rambunctious terriers for over two weeks. While we were away, they communicated with me often, with cute pics of themselves and the happy, relaxed dogs, reassuring us that everything was okay at home. They promptly let us know about a few minor problems that arose and dealt with the problems as we requested. Everything was as it should be when we arrived home; they left the house tidy and cleaner than we left it. They even left us some foods in the fridge and a vaseful of fresh flowers. I strongly recommend Rebekah and Matt as reliable, trustworthy house- and petsitters.
Glorious time. The chickens were very entertaining and adorable. The cats, as Carolyn said, kept themselves to themselves. Characterful old farm house and super views. Thank you again Carolyn and Mike.
Fiona thank you for inviting John and I into your lovely home and entrusting us with your most treasured possesions Dexter you are a very special boy, so well behaved, lovable and funny, thank you for your adorable company. Working from home can become all encompassing, the danger of never leaving the "office" and devices is all too real but when there is a fun companion who loves his beach walks, tug of war play time and games of hide and seek the day is always so much better and the importance of "moving" becomes a priority and who could resist your eyes Dexter? Having great hosts like Fiona, Mike and Dexter who go out of their way to make their sitters feel welcome and a comfortable home to enjoy makes pet and house sitting even more special ..... we help each other. Cramond is a such a lovely location, the village, the Estuary beach it's hard to believe you are in a city and the walks from the house are so convenient. Everything you may need is close at hand and getting to Edinburgh is so easy, the bus stops right outside the house. This was our first doggy sit since COVID stopped us in our pet sitting tracks and it could not have been a better "re-start" We sincerely hope to come back again for more Dexter time.
We spent 4 months with Bruno in Amy's cozy home in West Cambridge. The neighborhood is beautiful and has all the comforts. The 75 bus stops in front of the house and takes to Harvard Square, where you can take the T to downtown Boston. We shared the house with an Airbnb host who had his own room and with whom we got along very well. Bruno is a very affectionate, sweet and playful dog. He loves being around people, receiving and giving lots of love, and playing with a rope or ball. He is a big, very active dog who can be reactive in certain situations. It has been important for us remaining vigilant, have lots of high value treats, and keep him on a short leash when outdoors. He is very responsive when properly stimulated. During our stay, we had the opportunity to train Bruno with a certified trainer who taught us how to prevent and handle stressful stimuli. To continue the training effectively, we shared with Amy a document with what worked for us in taking care of Bruno. We greatly appreciated the support of Amy, who was always ready to meet our needs and requests, and her family, who was present on site and extremely supportive. For us it was a learning opportunity and great sharing of mutual love and care.
This is a real dream sit for mountain and dog lovers. Wilma is an energetic and loving companion who kept me company and entertained during our daily long walks along forest trails. She understood basic commands and was really easy to handle, except when she wanted to play fetch but wouldn’t let go of the sticks. At home, she was quiet and liked to sit next to me while I worked or relaxed in front of the tv. The location was fantastic. In the middle of Argentiere with access to incredible trails in every direction, and easy access to Chamonix by bus, train, or on foot. I had such a peaceful time in the cosy chalet. Matthew welcomed me with a homemade meal and my own comfortable room. Communication with him was also easy and clear, so I had no issues settling in and feeling prepared for the sit. Overall, this was such a luxurious experience in a gorgeous mountain location with the friendliest of dogs. Highly recommend this to all my fellow sitters!
This was a marvelous sit in Chanhassen. The pets were very friendly and easy to manage.....all six of them. Lu’s house was spacious and very comfortable. I had everything I needed and Lu and I were in touch the whole time. I would love to come back and sit for them again.
We had a fantastic time looking after Jane and Roberts beautiful home and lovely animals. The instructions were comprehensive and easy to follow. The animals were a delight and we loved talking the dogs out for walks in the beautiful countryside. We look forward to helping them again soon.
