Rochelle is the perfect host. Her home is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The house is so close to the commuter train station, so getting to Boston and Salem was very easy. Katmandu is absolutely beautiful and so easy to care for. He warmed up to us within 24 hours and loved getting pets - even belly rubs! We would definitely recommend Rochelle and Katmandu for anyone planning a trip near Swampscott, Mass.
Mary and James are the epitome of wonderful hosts and pet parents! They took care of every detail prior to our stay and went above and beyond to welcome us. They thought everything through to ensure we were comfortable, well-informed, and taken care of like we were family. I’m so happy to know them. Sofi is a delight! She was the perfect intersection of friendly, energetic/fun and loving. We enjoyed our daily walks, hikes, games of tug of war and playing. She is so well behaved and is coming along in her puppy training wonderfully. It was a pleasure to care for her and enjoy her bright energy and personality. My children and I fell in love with her. The house was lovely and well-cared for. My children enjoyed the pool and I enjoyed the incredible kitchen. We felt at home here and hope to come back soon! My family threw a few unexpected curveballs at Mary, James and Sofi and they were pleasantly flexible and accommodating. I’m grateful for their kindness and am glad to call them friends. If you have the opportunity to be lucky enough to sit for this family, I encourage it wholeheartedly!
We had the pleasure of looking after Fergus, Blue & Clive, and Amber's beautiful home for a week. Fergus is a very lovable, energetic pup who loved being involved in everything we were doing. Blue and Clive were so sweet and affectionate. We completely fell in love with these three and we would go back to look after them again in a heartbeat! Amber’s apartment was beautiful and in such an amazing location. There were loads of parks and walks around the area for Fergus who just loved meeting people and other dogs on our walks. There were plenty of restaurants, shops and coffee places around Mission that made it the perfect location to stay. Amber was so laid back, and really fun to chat to before, during and after the sit. We're definitely hoping to meet up with all four of them when we’re back in Calgary! :)
This sit in Ojai was superb! First of all, fluffy gus and His laidback cat Frankie had me wrapped around their gentle paws in minutes. Briana made sure I felt fully outfitted regarding them and their lovely home before heading out and Ojai is everything you hear it is and more. I've Never had a more peaceful pet sitter experience than this ... and that's saying alot.
Janet and Chris were lovely hosts and welcomed my arrival, in a torrential downpour. Nice to enter a lovely warm house away from the floods outside. I arrived the evening before and treated to a lovely meal, sat in their really nice sunroom, overlooking a fantastic lake. Really fascinating watching the swifts and Martins swooping low over the water early evening and mornings. Plenty of other aquatic life around as well, and bats coming out as dusk drew near. I only had Poppet and Dippy and two chickens to look after. The cats were an absolute delight with their own little characters. They loved nothing better than to snuggle up with me each evening and any other opportunity they could find. Chickens were easy and laid some yummy eggs. Lots to do and see in ther area, such as Stourhead and Brouton. Heavens Gate has some stunning views down to Longleat House. Nearby Shear Water also a very relaxing spot and you can walk between the two. Shaftsbury is a definite must with its famous Hovis Hill, seen in many an advert a while back. Further afield there is Salisbury and Wells both with lovely cathedrals to explore. There is so much to do and see in this are but equally Mere itself is great to explore, with amazing views from the site where the castle once stood. It is equally nice to just spend a day relaxing by the lake, with the cats curled up beside me, or just exploring the woods and fields. I had a fantastic time, staying in an idyllic location, with amazing views. This is a highly recommended sit and one I would be happy to return to. Thank you so much for choosing me to sit for you. It was great!
Maé is such a sweet girl, we thoroughly enjoyed taking care of her! Her favorite was our daily trips to the lake for a refreshing swim and hanging out at the local breweries for some dog watching. Jayce’s home is beautiful, warm and had all the amenities we needed. The location was great for long walks exploring the neighborhood, going down to the historic district and the occasional trip to the beach. I would happily come back and hang out with Mae anytime!
