Thanks a lot to Janifer, we had a great time. The area, the house and the amenities were very nice. The hot tub and the pool were a highlight. It's a quiet little town in walking distance and there's a great view to a lake. I believe there's more to explore around if you have a car. All essential things are 10-15 minutes away by foot. The pets are very sweet. Maddy has some health issues so she needs some more attention in certain things. Not that of an issue but it is something to be mindful about. The routine for all the pets isn't too complicated and Janifer gave very detailed instructions. There were two of us taking care of them and it helped a lot, might have been a little overwhelming for one person and also 3 weeks felt like a bit of an overstay, a week or two would have been perfect. Overall, it was a good experience and we are grateful for the chance to stay in the nature and enjoy beautiful Arenal.
Had a wonderful stay while I was taking care of Gucci and Monty in the beautiful house of Julie and David. Received a very warm welcome and got all the necessary information for the housesit. Gucci and Monty are two very sweet and easy going cats. The house and area where Julie and David are living is beautiful! I did walks along the river close to their house, went to New Forrest and there are also quite a few interesting cities and villages to visit. All together very much recommended! Thanks again Julie and David, hope to meet again!
Chester was an absolute pleasure to hang out with! He listens very well and is very attentive. On our off leash walk (along the gorgeous dykes just down the street from Jane’s house) he came to me right away when called with no hesitation. You can tell Jane has put in a lot of time into training. When back at the house Chester likes to know where you are and will lounge nearby, we kept each other good company! All instructions for his care were well laid out and documented. Jane has a very cute place in delightful Port Williams. It is a short jaunt to lots of farmers markets, the adorable town of Wolfville, bike trails and many sightseeing spots. There is also lots of birdwatching to be done from the comfort of her back deck. It was a great sit and I felt very at home, thank you Jane & Chessy!
Caring for Queso and T Gray was an absolute treat! They love laps and giving and receiving affection. The home is wonderfully tidy and clean, and Margaret and Martha are wonderful people to know. ☺️ Definitely one of our favorite house sitting experiences!
