It was great to meet Ebony, she is very easy-going and friendly. Communication before and throughout the sit was great. When we arrived she made us feel instantly at home and had gone out of her way to make us feel welcome. The house was spotless and so comfortable to stay in, the information she gave us about the place was really helpful and made the house sit very straightforward. Max is an absolute sweetheart with a kind soul, he's amazing off the lead and was waiting for us and checking in with us continuously throughout the walks. He's very friendly and would go up to people to say hi, he's a bit of a star around the local neighborhood and is very good with kids and adults (doesn't jump up at strangers, he greets them and waits to see if they're interested in saying hi) he is very respectful. Max loves his treats and is very intelligent and responds very well to positive praise and food. He is a great snuggler and wants to be close by with lots of cuddles. He's not a fan of shut doors and likes to be by your side and know what is happening and where you are in the house. Max is strong-minded and it helps to be firm and confident with him as he can be stubborn at times. We missed his sweet nature and he loves hiking and walking, he's a great company and we would definitely recommend this sit to anyone with previous experience with dogs. We loved sitting for Brynn’s dogs. She has four sweet and well-behaved rescue dogs.  Casper, Lola, Smallz and G. As noted another reviews Lola barks a little when you arrive, but we brought treats for everyone and she was happy very quickly.! Brynn is a kind host and good communicator. Her home is very comfortable. it’s also conveniently located to many beaches. We miss her pups already and would love to sit again!

We just had our 2 dogs there for 30 days and we are fully confident that they were taken care of as if they were at home, including their special needs.

We absolutely love deschutes pet lodge. They go above and beyond every time we use them. They respond quickly to messages and have been super helpful at making accommodations for our family. It’s like our pup is on vacation when we go on vacation and that helps our kids feel better when we leave him there. We appreciate all they do for our babe when we are gone.
My dog had never been to boarding, but I had a lot better time away knowing he was safe, fed his special diet, got outside play time, and 4x out per day, inside w his own bed at night. The peace of mind knowing he was ok, was huge relief. He was happy to see us. I would take him there again.
I’ve used DPL for several years, and my pups have always done well there. I’ve found the staff friendly and knowledgeable. This last visit, my older dog’s health took a turn for the worse while I was out of town. Mark and the staff at DPL kept in touch with me, informed me about how he was doing, took him to the vet, and even transported my other dog to the vet when it became clear my sick dog couldn’t return to the kennels. Their care for my dog’s welfare was obvious, and their thoughtfulness made a tough situation easier to deal with since I felt I had a team in the ground.
I took my anxious Aussie in to get groomed and they did amazing!! He looked so handsome and happy when I picked him up! I will definitely be bringing my dog here again
Both of our English Bulldogs came home after a 9 day stay happy and healthy. Seems like they were getting great care during their stay. Our old bulldog gets chronic ear infections and the staff called us to ensure they were taking care of him the right way. We did the suite for 9 days and a full groom for both on checkout day. They came back soft and smelling fresh! Glad to come back to happy (and not traumatized) dogs.
My dog has stayed at Deschutes Pet Lodge on several occasions and it is always a great experience. He is excited when we arrive suggesting he does not dread this place and when I return to pick him up, while excited to see me, he is calm and relaxed. They take great care of my dog.
Another fantastic visit our little Jack Pack had at DPL.. they are so happy to go and so happy when we pick them up. All had fresh nail trims which helps me tremendously. We all love this place 😊🐾
DPL has become our pup’s home away from home. We trace a lot and he loves playing with other dogs so we board him regularly. He always comes home happy and loves going there. The staff are always excited to see him and know him by name as we walk in. They do beautiful work grooming as well. One stop shop!

Happy Tales is the BEST place I have been to in Bend/Redmond! Though I live in Bend I commute to Happy Tales then back to bend because Jack loves it! The staff is so nice and they truly love what they do! All the dogs look happy and seem to all get along. They have a menu of all different activities for your pups if you want to add some extra play time. Sam, who runs the front office is amazing. She is always so accommodating and friendly. I wanna take Jack anywhere else. Thank you happy tales!!

I love this staff. They are really good with our dog who is part of our family. Although, we hate to leave him there, we know he is well cared for. We also have had our dog bathed and he comes home looking so handsome (he has long Australian Shepard hair) . They do a beautiful job
Last year my dog seemed overly energetic after pick up for just a two day stay. The way he acts on days he misses a walk or outside time at home. Usually he’s exhausted after boarding (he’s only been to two places). We boarded him for just a couple days in preparing him for his first longer boarding where we planned to leave him for almost two weeks. Unfortunately he came down with kennel cough two days later right before our actual planned trip making it so we had to cancel our reservation and pay a house sitter per our vets recommendation. I left a voice mail and email of our experience and no one even called me back.
Great place for day care and boarding! Friendly staff and we feel they take great care of our dog Pepper! She always comes home happy and never seems stressed out or anything.
The location is very difficult to get to, as there is no formal left hand turn lane. Additionally, their pricing/ charging policies a bit ridiculous. Unless you pick up your pet before 10 am you get charge for a full other night. I dropped my pet off at 5:30 pm and picked them up at 3 pm the next day. They were there less than 24 hrs and I was charged essentially for 2 days. I didn’t know this until I was dropping of my pet, and I didn’t really have a choice at that point. I can understand a partial charge for the daycare service on the second day, but a whole night charge is a bit much. When I picked up my pet, it also hadn’t seemed like he had been out since that morning ( it was afternoon when I picked up). For the price, I am paying I would expect him to be let out a bit more than it seemed like he got let out. They did do a nice job on his nail trim, but between the pricing and my dog seeming like he hadn’t been let out super recently, overall was not super impressed.
We've been clients of Megan's for quite some time and she is wonderful. She is always communicating with us while we're gone which completely helps keep me at ease! Our most recent trip has been a lot of extending days due to a death in the family and she has been available at the drop of a hat. On top of that, one of my cats was diagnosed with diabetes the day before I had to leave town, and Megan came over and handled everything. Megan went above and beyond to ensure our fur babies were safe, fed, and gave them lots of love. Highly recommend!
Megan has been walking our dogs and checking on our cat occasionally for over a year now. All our pets love her! She is reliable and communicative with us and calm and gentle with the animals! We highly recommend her!

it’s been 2 1/2 years since Shadow has been going to Ben unleashed every Wednesday he’s always happy to hop in the truck. Can’t wait to get there. all the young ladies that work there take very good care of him. Kendra is always nice at the front desk The owners are nice and cordial. shadow is always exhausted when he gets home all he wants to do is eat and sleep this summer and fall we have a few vacations planned, but we feel very comfortable leaving our little family member with them.
The Bend Unleashed staff took amazing care of my large, rescue dog. The team was knowledgeable about dog care and compassionate for her special needs. They administered medications without any issues and provided me frequent updates by text. Michaela at the front desk kindly answered all my questions. We are so thankful for Bend Unleashed! They have been absolutely incredible to our Macy pup and she always comes home happy and tired after a fun stay. All of the staff are kind and compassionate and they even sent me pictures during Macy’s first overnight stay! They are very communicative. Bend Unleashed took fabulous care of my 9 month old pup who's being raised as a potential service dog. McKenna stayed with them for about 3 weeks while she was in heat. I was able to stop by to train her every day and she was always excited to see the owners/staff. I had peace of mind knowing she was safe while she was in season, and she had a blast! I appreciate these guys so much.
We love Bend Unleashed! The owners are amazing with our dog and the rest of the dogs. You can tell they care so much for all the doggies. The indoors is spotless and the dog indoor play area it reminds me of a kid's gymboree. The outdoors is beautiful and they have a lot of secure running area. I love that they sanitize the doggy drinking bowl and they sanitize the outdoor turf grass. The dog's rooms have little beds and they play nice music for them. Best of all, they make sure all dogs have their shots. I'm jealous of my dog when I drop him off. Hands down this place is worth everything!
Top to bottom the best dog care and boarding company we have ever used. The whole staff and owners are compassionate, caring, dog loving people. They have bailed us out a few times with our Hatter. When we leave him for a few days it makes us feel better knowing how well our Hatter will be taken care of. My two pups absolutely love day play and boarding. Our 1 yr old gets so excited when she realizes we're taking her there. Our 7 mo just recently went for the first time and enjoyed herself so much. We always pick up happy, tired out pups.
We love to take our dog out there. She loves it because she can run more and play with other dogs. Winnie is well cared for and we never have to worry if she is OK. I highly recommend taking your pet there. Winnie’s brother also went with her when he was alive. They had lots of fun and especially being able to go on walks.
They are absolutely wonderful. My dog first walked in shaking and nervous as she always does at the vet. The employees at Bend Unleashed are very attentive and loving towards my pup. This review is very easy to write. I don’t know what I would’ve done this past Summer and Fall without her. I was in the process of relocating and would leave my four-legged feline kids and home in Michelle‘s care. Many times I was gone for 1 to 3 weeks. I can truly say this, I have 100% trust in Michelle to care for my pets and home. She follows directions and goes above and beyond in the care of your pets and home. A few times my flights coming back into Redmond were delayed. At the last minute I would ask Michelle to pick up my dog Lola at the Deschutes Pet Lodge before it closed so that Lola would be home by the time I arrived. She would also hang out with Lola so that she wouldn’t be home alone too long. Michelle is a professional, mature and trustworthy. I have referred her to my neighbors without hesitation and they also have shared with me that they like her and are confident that their pets and home are taken care of. She is responsive and asks questions so that all information is clear and understood. I’m bummed that she can’t petsit for me any longer ☹️. Our lil man has been watched over by The Playful Pet Sitter going over two years now. Michelle is always consistent with arrival and leave times. We get photos and updates during the visit. We wouldn’t trust our dog with just anyone. She’s caring, thorough and keeps our mind at ease while away.
Michelle is a very friendly and kind petsitter. She takes good care of Colby and Jack every time. She sends updates and makes sure she puts eyes on both of them as they tend to hide when we're away. They are much happier w her than any boarding facility.

Michelle is an amazing pet sitter that goes beyond basics- sending daily updates with photos and videos of her interactions with your pet. I have left several animals with sitters over many years and I have never had my cat (and home) so well cared for- Michelle has now taken care of my cat for multiple vacations some lasting over 2 weeks and I always return to a spotless home, living plants and a happy animal! I can't say enough about her professionalism and attention to detail.

Michelle is hands down the best pet sitter. My dogs get good walks (she sends a screenshot of the map), the cats get fed, and I get sent video and photo updates. The bowls are cleaned and the water is kept fresh. I can tell my pets are happy because when I get back they're not frantic like they are when I pick them up from a kennel. They clearly are comfortable with her and like her. She gives me great peace of mind when I have to go out of town.

Pampered Moose was recommended to us by our trainer Erica, who we trust greatly. We originally booked with Ashley to escort our pup at our wedding and pet sit during or honeymoon (we’d never left our dog overnight with anyone, so this was a big deal for us!). We were at ease from our first meet and greet, and started booking regular walks for some bonding time. Thanks to Ashley, we got some of the BEST wedding photos and a very sweet ceremony moment with our dog. She was so good with him throughout the wedding day. We also got to relax during our honeymoon knowing he was in good hands. Ashley keeps in close communication with lots photos and updates, which we really appreciate! Even though our wedding is over, Pampered Moose remains our new go-to for pet sitting. We’ve also kept our dog on the weekly off-leash adventure rotation—he loves it and has made some new canine friends. Our dog loves Ashley, and we do too! 10/10 recommend Pampered Moose.
The Pampered Moose crew is the best. I am cautious about who I leave my dog with, they came recommended from someone in my vets office. We started off with some dog walks that were wonderful. The crew members were prompt, kept great contact and sent pictures. Ashley began taking Snoop out for Adventure walks. He gets so excited when she comes over! He is so happy when he gets back, & is exhausted. It is the best!
Pampered Moose is the best service you can sign up your fur baby for. The amount of care everyone puts into each hike they take our dogs on, is truly next level. My dogs get so so excited when either Ashley, Lindsay or Rachael comes to pick them up! Recently Rachael took them on a beautiful hike and sent so many cute pictures of them, it is so nice to feel like they really love my dogs as much as I do. Ashley was a such a life saver taking on our boys on fairly short notice while we were out of town! Communication was amazing, updates and pictures so reassuring! We cannot thank her (and our other dogsitter) enough for the extra care given to our older bud who ended up getting a very sick tummy while we were away- so worrisome and also the last thing you want anyone else to have to deal with as a pet parent!! Ashley at Pampered Moose is wonderful! We have two cats and two dogs, and we had never left our anxious dog, Daisy, home alone overnight before, so we were nervous about our week-long vacation. Ashley was patient and gave Daisy the time she needed to warm up to her, which took a few days! She was great about taking care of all four pets' unique needs, including medication for two of them. She communicated and sent photos daily and took great care of all our babies! We have our next pet sitting with Ashley booked and plan to continue using Pampered Moose in the future!

My Min Pins love going to Martina’s house for day care every week. Her & her spouse are so welcoming & are always greeting us with kindness. Martina’s pricing for day care are affordable & I’ve had no issues since taking my Min Pins there. They’re always poooped when I bring them home & I can tell by the pics she sends that the dogs love the group walks!
My husband and I spent the month of October in Bend, and we feel so lucky to have found Kindred Spirit for our 10 month old pup, Bijou (Mini Bernedoodle, 25 lbs.). Bijou attended daycare 2-3 times a week, either a half or full day. Neal and Martina provide excellent care and stimulation with lots of walking in packs and off leash play. There is no doubt in my mind that the time Bijou spent at Kindred Spirit taught him socialization skills, such that he is much more accustomed to playing and running with other dogs. We are very happy to recommend Kindred Spirit to anyone looking for a doggie daycare.
I'm so glad I found Kindred Spirit Pet Care! I went out of town for two weeks and I felt very comfortable leaving my dog Edie in the care of Martina and Neil. They are very qualified and have a lot of love and compassion for all dogs. My dog Edie is pretty shy BUT she loves going there! They take her on hikes socialize her with the rest of their pack. I highly recommend Kindred Spirit Pet Care, it's a very special place!!
★★★★★ 2 months ago My little guy has been has been coming to this daycare weekly now for about a year and a half. He is 9, and a Jack Russel mix and the search for him to have somewhere to go all came about so I could go on vacation without worry. Ollie has now had a couple overnight stays and absolutely loves going each week. I can understand how this set up may not work for everyone or all dogs but it has been a life saver for me and my guy. I rescued Ollie when he was a month old, part of an abandoned litter and was about a lo. He has terrible separation anxiety, he is attached to me at the hip. I stopped going on vacations out of concern for his well being. But now, I know that he is loved and cared for, he has a great time, comes home tired! Is so excited the morning of when we started off with him shaking and will even walk himself right in! I can leave Ollie in Martina's care and I no longer feel anxious with worry during the day about how he is handling it all. And the whole experience has improved his confidence so much he does much better going to the vet now and other places. We continue going because of all of these positive benefits and the continued growth I see in my dog.
Olive reallly loves her Friday visits, she knows you to be her 2nd home. We love it we she comes home exhausted, we know she had a good time.
I have been taking our energetic PWD to Martina and Neil for 4 years and I cant say enough about how much I appreciate their care and attentiveness. It makes me be able to enjoy my time away so much more knowing Diego is having the time of his life at camp. My only hesitation about sharing a review is that everyone will know about the best dog camp in Bend!
My dog gets so excited when we turn the corner onto Martina's street. When I open the door she runs down the lane to greet her! Love, love, love Martina and her work with 'her' dogs. The dogs play all day after a long morning hike. No kennels. I feel my dog is in good hands either for the day or for several days when we leave on vacation. I would not use any other daycare place for our special pooch.
I couldn't be happier with Kindred Spirit! I'm new to Bend and the first thing I did was to search for the perfect petsitter for my dogs. My dogs are my babies and they need a special type of caregiver: responsible, dog savvy, loving, reliable, safe, professional and active..I found it ALL (and then some) with Martina. I never worry about them while I'm gone. a bonus to her very special care is that she also takes them on hikes daily! My boys are in heaven when they go to Martina! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her!
Incredible place to take your dog for day care or boarding. The staff is very friendly and easy to work with. We have been taking our two dogs to Kindred Spirit Dog Care for almost 1 1/2 years. They have spent nights there while traveling and we feel at ease knowing our dogs are being cared for by a loving and caring staff. Desiree does an amazing job with our high energy German Shepherd mix. The dogs spend once a week there and they come home very happy and very tired. We are so lucky to have found Kindred Spirit Dog Care!
My dog has been going here for about 2.5 years and absolutely has a ball. Great staff, she loves that Neil takes them on long walks, and has bonded with many of the regular dogs there. Kind and compassionate staff!
Great place to get your pet groomed! Jeff is the best for cats! Everyone was friendly. It was clean. My cat was happy when I picked him up. Definitely recommend. Look at this lion cut. Love it! They are doing road construction so it’s a little hard to find and you have to drive on a dirt road, but they should be through with it soon. I could not believe how huge this place was. Next time I go on a trip I will try this place for Boarding. The cat area looked great with windows to look outside, and the dog area had plenty of places to run and play.
This place has it goin on. Haley cared for my family dog after it was kidnapped and brought to her by a policeman. She kept him for a night and half a day and did not charge us a dime. In fact, she gave us bags of treats, some food, water, bowls…the works! And she, Haley, is just such a joy. She has such an easy, fun, loving energy.. .and really, really loves animals. Fully. And so takes great care of them and meets them where they are at. No forcing or pushing, and always fully taken care of. Exactly how that dog needs it. I was totally impressed by Haley and her outfit. I fully expected to see darn near all 5 stars when i checked this review page, and i was right. They just do it right over there. I have brought my rough collie here to be groomed a few times, and she always comes back looking amazing (photo is before the groom, guess I’ll have to update my review after the next groom 🤷). And Bend Pet Resort does not charge enough for the amount of work that goes into grooming my dog. I’ll definitely keep bringing her back. Also, this business has opened up their door to help out the community of La Pine during the Darlene fire. How lucky we are to have a business like this so close to home!
After years of not finding the right boarding place for a our bold but anxious corgi, Bend Pet Resort came through! We were worried that our little guy would be too scared to warm up to anyone. BPR took that as a challenge and worked with him so he (and the staff) can enjoy their time together at camp. They really helped his socialization issues, grooming discomforts, and overall comfort. He had a blast! We're going to plan more vacations out that way so they can keep working with him. Thanks again, Bend Pet Resort!
Bend Pet Resort was such a gift to both me and my dog when we needed it most. After a month of being separated from my dog, an officer was able to get my dog back from where he was being held, but I had no place for him to go while I made the 7 hours drive from where I am staying. The last place I wanted him was the humane society. And luckily, by the grace of the universe, Haley and Eric took my dog in despite it being after hours, having no notice and being packed already due to the holidays. They took care of my nervous and confused boy with so much love and compassion and made sure he was as comfortable as possible until I was able to get there. I got a chance to meet both Haley and Eric, the owners, and some of their employees, and the love and dedication they have for the dogs in their care is undeniable. Even my scared and anxious boy was running up to them, almost as if to say “thank you”. It was clear to see that they treated him as if he were their own and I have no doubt, that is the standard that they hold across the board. I will always be grateful for Bend Pet Resort and I will be recommending them to anyone local to central Oregon.
We love Bend Pet Resort! I have 3 Golden Retrievers that enjoy their time at BPR…..this is their resort! They love the play times, walks and the groomers! The staff loves them like their own! I highly recommend Bend Pet Resort!

I was in need of a long-term doggy daycare for my new puppy, and after posting online asking for recommendations; Bend Pet Resort was recommended by one of their groomers - Brendan. I pass this place frequently day to day, and always wanted to check them out. Was able to go in and chat with the one front desk attendant. I forgot her name, however she was super friendly, looked like she loves her job, and helped ease any worries I had - as this was my first long-term doggy day; with a puppy I had adopted in January. I reserved ahead of time because of July 4th, which was a super smooth experience. On the day of drop off, i was helped by the same girl at the front to welcome Barry in, and he immediately seemed to be at ease, just wanting to sniff around and see what was going on. Fast forward to my return after a long flight back and I came in to pick him up. There was another front desk lady that helped me, and she immediately knew who I was picking up, and said he did super well, while playing with one of the older dogs that he seemed to get along with. I was relieved so much to hear he had a great time there with getting to spend time socializing with other dogs, and being fed twice a day with their recipe, and two play times. I also had him groomed and nails trimmed, which he smelled great and his coat looked so shiny and clean (even if he’s a short hair.) My pup was immediately super tired when I got him back, and seemed to be super mellow attitude wise, more attentive and behaved than when I dropped him off. I have been working on his temperaments and quirks, so it was a relief to hear how well he did with the other dogs. I will definitely be using Bend Pet Resort again in the future when I have to go away for an extended time, or if Barry just needs a day of play time / I need to get some things done. I have been using Heather Gohde with Central Oregon Pet Care Pros for over 15 years to help care for my pets. At one point we had 3 cats she would take care of when we traveled. Currently we have 1 cat & 2 dogs. Heather came to my house 1 to 2x a week to help me give IV fluids for my elderly cat with kidney failure. This treatment helped to give my cat 2+ extra years of a QUALITY life. At 16yrs when it was time for my cat to go over the 'Rainbow Bridge', Heather was there to hold my hand & loved on my cat in her final moments. I could not have done that without her. She currently walks my 2 dogs twice a week & helps care for my other elderly cat when we are out of town. All 3 of my pets love Heather & will compete for her attention every time she shows up at the door. Heather is a wonderful care giver for all types of animals. She is an established long term career ‘Pet Care Professional’ (not some ‘fly by’). She is trustworthy, reliable & takes her work very seriously. She is almost like a ‘Pet Whisperer’. I completely trust her with anything for my home and/or the well being of my pets. I feel very fortunate to have Heather in our lives.

Heather at Central Oregon Pet Care Pros looked after our elderly cat Baxter for many months. Without her skills and care, we would not have been able to travel. He had chronic kidney disease and needed daily subcutaneous fluids and a lot of pills, liquids and injections, as well as the usual feeding and scooping. When we read online that Heather did medications we immediately called to learn more, and she came over a few days later to meet Baxter and demonstrate her abilities. He was very relaxed with her. She asked lots of good questions about how to care for him and the house. She is very organized. We felt confident leaving him in her care. She sent us daily updates and photos, and we could tell he adored her. I think the feeling was mutual. I have recommended Heather to many friends and colleagues and she will now be helping us with our two new kittens.
I call Heather the cat whisperer. She's been taking care of my three cats since 2020. Super responsible, watches out for them with care, and I love the "proof of life" photos I get each day when she's taking care of them.

Outstanding care for our cats, helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable about cat care. They took great care of our cats...we visited every day while our move occurred and they were a joy. The facilities were spotless and well maintained. They also just won the Best of Bend award shortly after our stay began. So happy they have received their well deserved accolades. We will for sure let our cat stay with them again!
We love Bend Kitty Lodge! Our cat is a “people cat” and he gets all the love and attention he needs. He always comes home happy. We love that Bend Kitty Lodge is cat-only boarding, so there are no dog sounds or smells to stress out the cats. The owners are trustworthy and make sure every cat has a comfortable, stress-free stay. The facility is immaculate and each room has plenty of room for cats to hang out, relax, or play. Our cat is very active, so we try to get a deluxe room so he has more room to play.

Had a last minute scheduling mishap and needed somewhere for my furbaby to stay for the day after we had checked out of our Airbnb. Bend kitty lodge came in and saved the day! It was super affordable and close to town that we were able to drop him off that morning and pick him up that evening! I love the Bend Kitty Lodge! Great staff and service, and a wonderful facility, certainly puts me at ease when leaving my fluffy family member there. Everyone there takes such care to honor and respect the needs of each individual cat. With multiple types of boarding rooms, as well as an option for the guests to roam with others, and the fact that no dogs are there, are just a few of the many reasons why I won't take my cat anywhere else. The setting is ideal, situated on such a relaxing spot just outside of town, it helps me to know loud sounds won't be bothering the kitties! Thanks so much Bend Kitty Lodge! I appreciate you all!
My senior cat stayed at Bend Kitty Lodge for an extended period of time over the winter. She received the best care. I was delighted with her condition at the end of her stay. She gained weight which made me very happy. They sent photos and regular reports on how she was doing during her entire stay. I am very happy with Bend Kitty Lodge.
The Bend Kitty Lodge was the perfect home away from home for our 15 year old cat, who had never been boarded and needed a place to stay during our two and a half weeks away. The lodge is clean, comfortable, safe and welcoming, with a wonderful, warm expert staff. We highly recommend it and thank Laurie and Dee for taking such good care of Skye.

I called Pet Paradise because of their excellent reviews. For the life of me, I really can’t figure out why I was treated the way I was by them. I’m from out of state and am a volunteer camp host for the Forest Service at Diamond Lake. It is a 4 hour round trip for me to run errands in Bend (one of the closest cities to Diamond Lake) and I registered to bring my dog in for a half day (12-5:30). I signed her up online and then called to confirm her appointment. I told them I would bring her immunization records with me when I dropped her off. Her appointment was at 12:00 and I got there at 12:04. I called several times to let them know I would be a couple minutes late because there was construction and detours on the way and my GPS was acting crazy. I had never been to Bend before. When I arrived to drop my dog off there was a sign on the office door that they were closed from 12:00-3:00. Even though they were expecting me, there was no note for me. I called several times from the parking lot and knocked on the door several times. No one answered or responded. They knew I was traveling 2 hours to get there. I ended up having to cancel my appointments and pay for the services because it was too late to cancel. It cost me $400 for a totally wasted day because they did not have the courtesy to tell me if I was a couple minutes late, they would not answer the door. I was dumbfounded. I sent them an email when I got back to Diamond Lake and I got no explanation and no apology in return. I have never in my 71 years dealt with such rude and inconsiderate people.
I trust my pet's care there. Great people, dogs get playtime, highly recommend. My gratitude.
I've boarded my pack twice at Pet Paradise now. Both times were great experiences. Especially the second time, last week. The person helping to check in showed genuine interest in the dogs, and was patient with our senior shepherd, who was hesitant to be led off. It's probably more difficult for the humans than it is for the dogs, and I highly recommend the "happy text" so you can see how the dogs look throughout the stay. My girls all had their tails up in each photo, and it put a little extra pep in my step seeing them. The kennel worked with us on last-minute arrangements for picking up, and it all worked out great. The dogs were very happy, and so were the humans. Would highly recommend!
I can't recommend this place enough - the facility and staff are top notch and take really good of your pets. They are all so kind and truly care and love your pet, I was so nervous at first but our two puppies absolutely love this place and the staff, they want to get back ASAP.

Love this place for my 3 dogs when we have to go out of town. My boys love going here and are very excited as soon as I turn down the driveway. I've seen complaints about people picking up their dogs and they are dirty. My advice is to take advantage of their express wash. There are lots of outdoor areas for your dogs to play, so yes, they will be dirty if you pick them up without the wash. They are very good about timing the wash with your pick up time. I never worry about my pups when I have to leave town, I know they are well taken care of.
Pet Paradise is an amazing place. I first started bringing my first Chow Thor who went there as a puppy until he was 18 months old and had died unexpectedly. I have been bringing Furby my second Chow for almost 2 years now. As soon as we turn down the paved driveway he’s getting excited. Both of my dogs have enjoyed coming here which tells me something because dogs don’t lie. The staff are always friendly, professional and accommodating. They have a huge yard for the dogs to roam and play in and their indoor kennels are always cleaned out and sanitized. It always smells fresh and clean when I come inside. Their outdoor yard is always cleaned and picked up. These people are dog lovers here it isn’t an act. Whenever my dog comes for daycare or to be boarded I never ever worry because I know he is always be well taken care of. In fact they love him which means a lot to me. My dog is my family member so I have to trust whom I leave him with. They also have a wonderful salon where they offer dog grooming and they do an amazing job. I also wanted to mention that when my other dog Thor died I let Summer who is one of the owners of Pet Paradise know and she was so kind and sympathetic, she hugged me as I cried. That is genuine concern right there. I won’t be going anywhere else. Furby gives this business a paws up. 🐾🐾
We absolutely love Pet Paradise! We have boarded our dogs many times and have never experienced anything negative that would keep us from using them again. Our dogs are always happy when we take and pick them up. The grounds are kept very clean and neat, and our dogs enjoy being there with other dogs.
Wonderful place, great service, and the best part is how excited our dog gets when we turn into the driveway. He goes crazy! And he always comes home happy and tired.
Clean, well-organized and staff is very friendly. Dropped our son for the full-day day care ($15) on our way to Mt. Bachelor. They open 7am-5pm, so plenty of time for us to enjoy our trip. One down side is their entrance is really hard to find when it’s dark. Overall, very pleasant experience. Highly recommended!
