OMG! We had the best time ever looking after Juno and Maggy. From the very first telephone conversation it felt right for us. Nina was just so lovely to deal with, the communication and organisation was easy. On arrival we had the pleasure of meeting the family and being shown around Stuart and Nina’s lovely home. We were so impressed. Filled with light and volume with the best views, did I mention it has an outdoor pool? We went for a local walk, to get to know the immediate vicinity, which was super useful and got to know Juno, and Stuart and Nina, a little more. Juno is the most adorable little companion, I hope you like walking, and Maggy, in my opinion, probably the best cat in the world. I could write for hours but, I won’t, we loved this stay. Stuart even advised me on the best surfboard to buy. What can I say… Perfect.
We had a lovely sit at Patricia's. Her home and yard were delightful. And, Piccolo was just the best, she exuded joy. She was so much fun. There are wonderful walking trails nearby. Sitting in Patricia's back yard was like being in an oasis of peace, so many happy, health and beautiful plants. We'd go back in a minute.
We enjoyed ten days in beautiful Suffolk with a lovely lovely lurcher called Tess. Alison was super organised, so we just settled in quickly and began exploring with our new friend Tess. The house is terrific, family orientated with beautiful decor and a big garden to explore. There are so many walks close by, and Tess is very well behaved so you can make the most of them. She loves to meet other dogs but comes away if they don’t want to engage! The time flew by, and we were sorry to say goodbye. This a wonderful sit and we are grateful to Alison, Jim and the boys for the opportunity to take care of their home and precious pup :)
Just got back from looking after Lulu in Chilham. I had a lovely time there, and was able to tick off all the "to do" things on my list! Lulu is a precious independent cat, such beautiful eyes, she soon was rubbing against my legs and making herself comfortable next to me on the reading sofa. Keep safe sweet girl, hope to see you again in the future! Thanks Virginia for making my stay a memorable one!
Jaz and Rob were lovely hosts, sending lots of recommendations of places to visit and kept in communication lots ensuring we knew were everything was. We had an amazing time on the pouring rainy days by the fire and and the brighter ones strolling in the fens. They have a beautiful home. Reggie was a dream to look after. Although he can be a grumpy munchkin, he also had many quirks which was delightful like the way he just seemed to love lying upside down or rubbing his face on our legs when we were cooking. Horace was super calm and friendly. We loved seeing his personality shine through, and letting him have a run round the lounge like a little tap dancer. Highly recommend the hosts, location and pets.
I had a wonderful week watching Lexi & Noel at Lawton & Sami’s beautiful home in the city. The cats were great and super friendly to sit. I’d recommend them and their home in center city Philadelphia for anyone who is looking to explore more of the city or is coming to Philly for the first time. Baxter has been with Petpals since he was a young pup. Through his life he has always been challenging to say the least! Petpals have guided us through his behaviour and have always brought him back home safe and happy. There are very few people who he greets at the door, the Petpals team always get a “family” greeting. His level of excitement when he hears the van pull onto the drive is off the scale! Sadly, he was diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of the year. The level of care and love that the team show him is so heartwarming. We don’t know how long our precious boy will stay with us, but while he is, Petpals will always be our “go to” people to look after him.
Petpals took care of our two shy cats while we were away, got daily updates, even when they didn't see them to say food eaten and litter trays used etc.. Got a really personalised service as felt they didn't just take care of cats needs they also put our minds at rest. Came home to 2 happy, well fed girls and a clean space where they had been fed. Everything left neat and tidy, will 100% use again and would recommend xxxx
Our dog loves her walks and stays with the lovely folk at PetPals Ambergate. She comes back happy and exercised, she's super excited whenever she hears the car pulling up to take her for one of their adventures. Great Facebook picture of her journeys. I cannot speak highly enough of this company. The people working there are amazing. They could not be more accommodating and will always help whenever they can. Their love of the pets they care for could never be questioned. My work shifts change constantly and I know I can message them and get a reply back almost immediately saying they can take the dog that day. I also love the fact that they put photos on showing the dogs on the walk having the time of their life. I have and always will highly recommend them
We have been using Petpals (Amber Valley) since we got our puppy in July 2019. They offer a fantastic and flexible service. We simply let them know what days we need them on a Sunday for the following week by text message and they just book us in. We generally use them 2 days a week but the days fluctuate depending on work commitments. Petpals have always accommodated the flexibility that we need and occasionally we request the first walk of the day (as they have multiple walks), and they have always obliged. Our puppy loves his walks with Petpals and all his little friends and he is always very excited when they come to collect him. We love to see what he has been up to on his walks when the photos are posted as well. I would highly recommend!
Our GSD Lucy has been part of the Pet Pals pack walks for just over a year now and has also had several home stays when we were unable to take her with us on holiday. The service from Pet Pals is fantastic; prompt, reliable, trustworthy and professional. Lucy always has a great time on her walks whether she is with the 'little guys' or the 'big guys'! After a home stay she is is always very happy when we pick her up. As we do not have family in the area who can help us with dog care, finding Pet Pals has been a life saver. I have used Petpals for nearly a year now and I couldn't be happier with them. They had Daisy on a daily basis when she was a puppy and now she's old enough to be left for longer whilst I'm at work, they pick her up from my house every day and take her for a pack walk. Daisy also visits if we go on holiday. It provides peace of mind for me knowing Daisy is being looked after and is in safe hands during the weekdays. Dave and Fiona and the rest of the team provide a professional, but friendly service and they were particularly brilliant during Daisy's puppy hood, offering me help and advice and reassuring me that Daisy's behaviours were normal! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anybody that required a similar service.
Fiona and crew have been walking my pooch for years and I wouldn't change them for the world. The dogs are their absolute priority and I have never felt more comfortable leaving my dog whether it be walking services or a sleep over at their house. Drifter is always happy and Fiona is very helpful and knowledgable. The best dog walkers in the world and very lovely genuine people!
I Wasn’t going to do this review but I feel the company is not honest and have left things unanswered. My dog used to go on there pack walks with this group. One day I got a phone call to say “I’ve lost her” luckily my family was near by and was able to go where they was walking and found my dog straight away as she hadn’t ran of like they originally said she had simply hid and she was right where they left her. I never got an apology from them or an explanation of what happened on this incident. I got in touch with head office I give them credit as they apologised to me regarding the lack of communication but I still struggle to understand what happened on this day as my dog would only hide if something spoked her but no one has said what spoked her and if they was watching her they would of seen where she was and where she went to go hide as it was right by where they was. All I got told was she was let off the lead and they looked up and she was gone but this does not make sense…?I used to get phone calls and messages saying my dog would hide and they can’t take her for her walk as she’s hiding from them when they picked her up which now makes me question things as I’m using a new company and she greets them at the door with a waggy tail. Please just be alert if your using/ planning to use this company would hate anyone to lose there dog due to there negligence.
Steph at Part of the family is great. From the start she was so reassuring with some gradual introductions for my dog before staying for a longer period. I was sent photos whilst she was there and her family literally made my girl one of the family. There is no hesitation in my mind of Steph and her family looking after my dog again. They are all so caring and affectionate, could not ask for more ☺️

Steph is a lovely, caring and patient person, who loves animals, as do her two adorable kids. She is also super energetic so the dogs get plenty of walks on the many fields next to her house! Your dog will love it. The only risk is that it will not want to leave!
We feel so lucky to have found Steph to look after our lil guy, Vinnie. She was not deterred by the fact he was an energetic German Shepard pup and at the first meeting it was clear he was going to have so much fun with Rex and all the other doggos. It really is a life saver that she can pick him up and drop him off, as I work long shifts and just couldn’t find a day care that fit around my work schedule. Steph clearly loves her job and always sends me pics and videos throughout the day which I’m so grateful for! Would recommend her to anyone ☺️🐶

Highly recommended. Waffle, our miniature labradoodle stayed with Steph and her family last week whilst we were on holiday. We were a little apprehensive at first as we hadn’t left him before but we needn’t have been, he had a great time. We were kept updated throughout the week with posts which really put our mind at rest which was great. Having Rex there too to play with really made it for Waffle, he is a super natured dog and a great addition to what is a lovely family, waffle’s looking forward to his next holiday!!
We asked Steph to take on the huge task of taking care of our 6 cats when we had to go home due to a family bereavement. Our cats are very needy, nervous rescues with varying degrees of disabilities including a double amputee, brain damage etc. Steph was AMAZING and our fur babies were soon getting cuddles and playtime; Stephs children loved visiting too while Mommy did the feeding and scooped the litter (morning and night) and we were updated daily with photos and messages. NOTHING was too much for Steph......and she even vacuumed on the last day! We wouldn't trust our babies to anyone else now and you will be so comforted knowing your beloved pets are in the hands of this kind, gentle, compassionate lady. Thank you Steph.....HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Steph has looked after my dog Charlie many times and she is a total angel on earth. Charlie loves her more than me I think. She has a great home and she loves all animals 100% recommended- and I am very fussy.
Denny has just returned home from a 6 night stay and is fast asleep. The photos and videos that Steph sends shows he had a very good doggy holiday with lots of cuddles, walks, treats and friends. I couldn’t ask for more 🐾🐾🐶💙 …
Minnie has been with Part of the family for a few weeks now & although Minnie has her health problems she loves going 3 days a week, she even goes off lead on her walks, she love the company of other dogs & always comes back happy & content. I always get videos off her on her walks which shows how content she is. I would fully recommend them as they work wonders with Minnie & treat her as one of there own.

Amazing, friendly staff. I have been bringing my rabbit here for a couple of years now. I wouldn't look for any other. Easy to find. I park across the street in the shopping area. Lots of area for rabbits the play and stretch. 100% recommended. 😊🐰

We love Damson lodge so much, we wouldn't trust anyone else to look after our rats. They are always clean, fed, content and so happy when we collect them. Boarded our pet tortoise for a week and was really pleased to have found Damson Lodge. They kindly showed us around before hand so we could see where he would spend his week and the price was extremely reasonable. Highly recommended!
Marta and sue are really friendly and helpful. I know my animals are cared for and well looked after when I go away. They offer so many services and personalised to meet my needs, like home visits for my cats while I'm away and home boarding our rabbit too. Highly recommend.
Looked after my Syrian hamster whilst I was away for a few weeks. The building they have for the animals is a good size and kept at a good temperature.

I cannot praise this business highly enough. They are absolutely brilliant. This was our boys first stay in a kennels, he was here for a week and he loved it. Daily activities planned for him, which included a holiday swim. We received daily photos and updates. Everyone here cares about the dogs in their care, and it really showed. Will be using again and would highly recommend.
We've used Reservoir a few times now and we certainly wouldn't use anybody else. The whole team look after your dog just like it were their own! You know they are in safe hands from the moment they leave to the moment they come back home. Honestly couldn't recommend this place enough. Thank you!!
I feel like I have found a hidden gem here ! My little JRT Ziggy prefers humans to other dogs and I was very stressed about him being left in boarding kennels but the team here are outstanding providing love, patience, commitment and dedication to the fur babies they have in their care. Maria the owner has a heart of gold and dedicates so much time to ensure the doggie guests individual needs are met . Ziggy loves his holidays here and also daycare his days are full of fun , we receive updates of photos of him chasing balls and jumping in ball pits , running through the meadow with his friends . Outstanding facilities and an amazing Team !

Both my Springer and I love it here. We are so lucky to have found such a lovely welcoming place where we can exercise our dog. I mainly swim here with our pup, she comes for a half hour session pretty much every week, the pool is lovely and warm and has lots of toys for her to play with. Theres a shower room for both people and dogs so we can get clean afterwards. There is also a reward scheme for free swims too. Maria, the owner is so friendly, she makes us both feel welcome and is always happy to give our dog a fuss even when she's still soggy. The site also offers a doggy arcade, there are sand pits, ball pools and play areas for dogs. They even have doggy TV. You can also board your fur babies here, something we haven't done yet but if we do, we know they will be well looked after and loved. The site is fully enclosed with lots of security to ensure your pups don't get into mischief.

My two fur babies loved their 1st time here. Maria and her team make sure the dogs are happy and entertained all day and care for them like their own. My 2 didn't want to come home, which was very reassuring for me and speaks volumes. I would 100% recommend.
So we booked our 9 year old cocker spaniel in for 2 days 1 night. We got photos of him over the two days and he honestly looked like he was smiling! He adored it. ✨💖 He's been loved and treated like their own family member. He's had so many adventures just in two days! And my in-laws told me he tried to go back in when they collected him. 😂. I'll absolutely be coming back. His happiness is our priority when we're away. They've been amazing. Thank you so much.

I've been using Brinsley Pet Care for a few years to look after my ratty mischief. They have quite spacious multi level accommodation for their stays I've had several rats that needed multiple doses of life-saving medications and this has never been a problem for Sally. They have a great time and return happy and healthy. ❤️
Superb service by Sally and her family would thoroughly recommend. We first left our Parrot with Sally for a week after our normal sitter was unavailable, on first visiting Brinsley Pet Care and meeting Sally I felt comfortable leaving him, the set up is amazing and Sally had a nice confident way with the animals. After our Parrot visit we felt comfortable asking Sally if she would visits our old dogs and give them lunch and medication if we have to be out the house for longer than normal, they love her and she sends little videos of them in the garden having some fuss 😍. Such reasonable prices as well ~ Amazing ❤️
Sally walks Max for us periodically and he's just so chilled afterwards We trust her implicitly with him and have never had an issue. Sally has a gift with animals that I've never known before. We would absolutely recommend her 100%

Just collected our two rabbits from their first stay with Sally after a long weekend and would highly recommend Brinsley Pet Care for boarding your rabbits/birds/Guinea pigs/rats/tortoise!! It’s a lovely setting and clearly a place where all the animals are well loved and looked after. The cost is also highly reasonable and very good value. Sally answered my enquiry and all my emailed questions straightaway before their stay which was very reassuring when using a service you only know via FB. Fabulous personal visiting sitting service! Currently on my second cat cared for by Tatiana while we are away with no worry or stress. It’s not just a visit to feed and scoop the litter tray but time spent with your pet and interaction in line with their preferences. The regular updates let me know my boy is OK while we are gone. The price is great for the service you get. I trust Tatiana with my boy and in my home without hesitation!
This lovely lady looks after our lovely cat every time we go away. She advises us, gives her plenty of time and attention etc When we return everything is all tide and most importantly our little cat is happy as Larry and not at all bothered that we’ve been away. Will always continue to us!
I highly recommend Tatiana. She has an obvious love of dogs and is well versed in their behaviour. Our bouncy Lab took to her straight away and not only did his behaviour improve but so did ours following some training advice from Tatiana - so you can teach old dogs new tricks! She is so well organised, punctual, and gives a great service, which we will be using again. We have now used Tatiana three times and will continue to do so. She provides such an excellent service.
Finding the right pet sitter is difficult. Not only do you need to trust them with your beloved pets, but you also need to have trust letting them into your home when you are not around. After reaching out to Tatiana via e-mail, she was quick to respond and provide several alternatives of when she could come and meet with us and our dog Oscar. It's immediately obvious how much she loves animals. She gave him the right amount of attention, but still focussed on going through the process and paper work with us. I felt confident that she would treat him like she would her own dog. Tatiana walked our dog every day this week. She provided text updates after each walk, with valuable information, and confirmation that all was OK. We will be using her service again already next week! Thanks Tatiana, I know you and Oscar will be seeing each other regularly!
Highly experienced, completely reliable and totally professional services provided; ranging from dog walking, feeding, vet visits, etc. Equally importantly is having a high level of trust as you are allowing someone into your home when you're not around. Diesel Dog and I can highly recommend Tatiana to anyone needing support to look after their pets at very reasonable rates. Diesel goes bananas when Tatiana arrives to take him out; I'm slightly envious of his love and affection for her :)
Peggy our Bedlington Terrier loves going out with Tatiana several times per week and loves spending times with other dogs on the walk. Peggy started with Tatiana when she was a puppy and it was really helpful that she grew up being able to socialise with other dogs. Tatiana has taken our dog Bobbi for regular walks over the past few weeks to help us out. She is an excellent dog handler and I have learned a lot from her. Bobbi adores her and enjoys his time with her. She is very calm and easily controls a dominant dog who does not like to walk on a lead. I have relied on her and she has not let me down. The Dog and Spoon Hotel is amazing! Our two lively Wire Haired Fox Terriers have stayed twice this year (2024) and had a wonderful time. The owner, Kathy, is so kind and really looks after the dogs in her care, we have total confidence in her. Our dogs had a blast being cared for with lots of cuddles, walks and playtime. We have booked our dogs to stay with Kathy next year in 2025 for our three different holidays abroad. We made sure D&SH had availability before we booked our flights as we know how popular the Hotel is with lots of returning guests. Our 3 dogs have just enjoyed another fabulous week stay at Dog and Spoon. We have been lucky enough to be able to take our dogs to this amazing hotel since they first opened. We would literally not take them anywhere else (despite now living an hour away) and we won't book any holiday without making sure we can reserve a room at the Dog and Spoon first. It is not just the superb facilities at the hotel that keep us coming back time after time, but it is the outstanding level of care shown by the owners and staff at the Dog and Spoon that ensure we are happy and relaxed when we are away, safe in the knowledge that our dogs are having a great time too. Nothing is too much trouble for Kathy and Tony, not even when our St Bernard needed eye drops 6 times a day, plus other medication. Kathy takes everything in her stride, even when our Bulldogs are being rather rambunctious!
I cannot recommend the Dog and Spoon enough! Our two Labradoodles had the most amazing week with Kathy. It was clear when we came to pick them up that our dogs had loved their time at the Dog and Spoon. They were so happy running around enjoying all the amazing facilities that Kathy has. This was the first time our dogs had stayed away from home and before we found the Dog and Spoon, we had looked round many other kennels trying to find the best place for our dogs to stay. No other kennels came close to being as good at the Dog and Spoon. We booked without any hesitation. The whole place is immaculate and the outdoor facilities and fields are amazing. The cherry on the cake was receiving emails from Kathy with photos of our dogs having the best holiday ever! This was a wonderful touch and really made us feel so comfortable leaving the dogs, knowing that they were very happy and having lots of fun. Thank you Kathy for everything.
My dogs think it's excellent. They always rush in and jump on the sofas when I drop them off. The staff are fantastic and great at handling my loopy hounds. We watch them on the webcam when we're away but they are often out running around or sleeping on the sofas in reception.
Amazing place for our two wire haired fox terriers to stay for the week. They had a blast and were so well cared for by Kathy in absolute luxury with lots of play time and cuddles. I'm surprised they wanted to return home :) I hope next time we plan a holiday Dog & Spoon have availability for a return visit. Bear and hunter my 2 huskies thought they were home from home, loving care, lots of room inside and out... Even had there luxury of a sofa... We were kept informed even had videos of the fun they were having... From the first moment I saw the dog hotel I knew they would be happy and they were 100%...next time we go away I know where I'll be booking bear and hunter into.. Nothing was to much trouble... I thought about them all the time but never once worried if they were happy.. Thank you for treating them like your pets
Arlo and Luna really did go on their own little holiday to the Dog and Spoon hotel. The care and attention you gave them was really appreciated. The photos and videos you sent us were just amazing and showed how much of a good time they were having!! Arlo is normally a very nervous boy but seemed so at ease with Kathy. It is by far the best place to leave your pet when you are going away. The Dog and Spoon truly is a hotel and not a kennel! Thank you so much, see you next year😀
There are only two places I would leave my dog when on holiday and D&S is one of them. Kathy and Tony look after her so amazingly well, not even for I moment I would worry. Naturally, I miss her, but I receive a postcard with loads of pictures of her stay. She always looks happy and nurtured. The hotel is immaculately clean. I've seen human hotels that can learn a lot from Kathy and how to maintain standards. Kathy is never afraid to express concern or to give advice. That's how I know she truly cares. Dog and Spoon is home from home for my baby. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Far superior to any other dog boarding I have seen both in care and facilities. My two large dogs have stayed many times and are always delighted to arrive. I have absolute confidence in Kathy and Tony who obviously love dogs and go more than the extra mile to ensure a happy stay for them.
Lynne and the team provide an excellent service, the dogs clearly enjoy the experience as seen in the pupdates which are sent on request (being sensible of course with the times of requests). They are dog owners and are very responsible. Only issue is very popular and you need to get you booking in early. Strongly recommend.

Dropped our puppy off with Lea for the day which was the first time we had left him with anyone other than family. Was nervous about how he would be around other dogs but Lea was brilliant with him and he absolutely loved Betty! Would definitely recommend and will most certainly use again the next time we are in the area.
This is the first time we’ve had our dogs walked by anyone else so I was nervous how it would go. I didn’t need to worry as Lea was brilliant with my two dogs Luna and Dudley. They soon became firm friends with Lea and were very relaxed and happy when they came back. It was lovely to get updates of photos and videos from Lea whilst we were away. I would definitely recommend Lea and have booked again.
Tommy, my fox red Labrador turned 2 in April , just after I returned to work. I couldn’t face the thought of him being alone all day and then I remembered seeing Lea out walking on the park with a couple of dogs she was caring for, they were really happy. Now Tommy goes walking every work day with Betty’s Trails and he is so happy , especially today, so hot they need a swim :) I would recommend Betty’s Trails to any owner who wants peace of mind knowing their dog will be happy and cared for.
Léa walks my dog weekdays while I'm at work and I couldn't be happier with the service. Léa goes above and beyond what I expected from a dog walker and I hope she'll keep me and my dog as clients for many years. Your pup will be in good hands
Lea was amazing with our dogs when we went away for 10 days. The photos she shared of there walks were lovely to see and they definitely came back fitter!. It was like home from home for them and as my King Charles can be quite anxious when she’s away from me was a great comfort and she was a very happy girl. Fantastic!
My little dachshund LOVED his stay with Léa and Betty! We got so many photo, videoand text updates and it was great to see how much fun he was having. He came back and slept for the whole day - very happy-tired! Léa was so attentive to my concerns about him with another dog and she took great care to manage their interactions successfully. Léa looked after my 8month old springer spaniel. I was worried about leaving him for the first time, but I was put at ease from the minute we met Léa and Betty. Friendly home boarding. Excellent care for your furbabies. Cameras available in some of the guinea pig cages which is very reassuring for first time furbaby parents, leaving your pets for the first time.
An amazing place to board your piggies or any of your beloved pets, Stephanie takes great care of my piggies every time I'm away, the option to watch my piggies while away really helps with knowing how they are, communication is great too and always friendly, pricing is reasonable as well. All round great service and would highly recommend this boarding facility.
Stephanie looked after our Rabbit for 2 days. We got regular updates of how he was, what he was up to and some lovely photos. He was very comfortable and well looked after. Highly recommended.
