Thoroughly enjoyed this pet sit with Sasha. She was incredibly easy going. Hard to leave her behind! And I felt welcomed into the home. The Avenues neighborhood is a friendly and picturesque area for daily walks, but also provided eating, hiking, and birding opportunities, too.
It was an absolute pleasure to do a sit at Danielle’s flat. Her dog Frankie is a gem and such a relaxed dog to care for. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there located in the city centre and plenty of nice trails to take Frankie on a walk. The house was clean and organised. Danielle was also very responsive to any questions I had and was a great host. I would highly recommend a sit here and would be happy to do another sit with Frankie in the future!
My time at Vanessa’s home was so peaceful and enjoyable. Her home is beautiful, with stunning views, and so comfortable. The pups were adorable, friendly, and so well behaved. I felt so at ease and didn’t want to go!
Chloe is such a sweetheart! She’s very sweet and friendly - a little shadow that just likes to be close to you. She’s great on the leash and easy to walk with. Simba couldn’t quite make up his mind about me - he mostly ignored me during the day, but at night he’d sleep by my legs or even on top of me (on top of the covers)! Luna was the opposite - all about being petted and getting attention during the day, but at night would mostly be off by himself. He does love going outside and happily let me put his harness on - Simba grumpily looked on from the window, as he didn’t want to get his harness on. Luna doesn’t walk far, but he does love being out in the sunshine and fresh air! Susan had everything I needed - she’s still unpacking, but the guest room was clean & comfortable. The common areas were cozy and bright with all the windows. She even left a lovely fire laid out & ready to light. It made for a beautiful evening as I got to know everyone. My only frustration was the parking situation - Susan did mention it in the listing, but I’ll add a little clarification from my experience. Since the street parking is limited and there are other complexes nearby that share the same streets, parking is a challenge. Be aware of street sweeping, residential parking restrictions and a general shortage of parking. Plan to walk 10-15 min to your car (I would take Chloe with me and make walking back part of our evening walk). It’s a big pain, but if you don’t have to go out too much, it’s not that bad. Overall an enjoyable time - thanks Susan!
