Denae and Burl are great. Very interesting people, lots of interesting views and eager to learn about new countries, habits etc. They stayed at our house while my husband was here on his own as I was still travelling and as he works full time he couldn't look after the dogs. They also stayed for a couple of extra weeks to do their own thing once I was back, so I was lucky enough to get to know them personally too. We ate together sometimes, played board games together and had long discussions about life, the universe and everything. They loved the dogs and the dogs loved them which is the most important thing. While I was away, Denae updated me occasionally exactly as I had asked her to, if I wanted to see the dogs, she'd send a picture. So if you get the chance to have them dog/house sit, take it. I certainly will.
Olivia and Kyle have a lovely place with a beautiful garden , quite and cosy , it felt like a relaxing holiday, and Tarka is a very loving and playful pussycat who enjoys getting some fresh air in the garden with the sitter every evening:)) Thank you guys ! :x Irene
As this was my first housesit, it was an amazing experience. I had a wonderfull stay at Samina's. She is so kind, very easy going and welcoming. The cats where so cute and playfull and great company to have around. Overall it's like being in paradise on Mallorca. Thanks again for your trust and hospitality and hopefully till the next one🤗
What a beautiful home and the easiest dog to spend time with! Archer is a sweet, mellow guy who has mastered the art of loafing. He was always keen for a walk when it was time and wouldn't bat an eyelash at anything crossing his path. Never a bark out of Archer, he loves his pats and wrestling with his stuffies. Just the best dog. Shuen & family are warm and welcoming and extremely laid back. The house is located in a clean & quiet family neighborhood only a short walk from Willows Beach and the Marina. A truly relaxing and comfortable stay and I highly recommend this sit.
We had a fantastic time dogsitting Dash. He's an easy dog to look after. A real character who will take as much exercise and walks that you want to give him. He's also fine with a few short walks each day. Lovely lodge with friendly neighbours in a great location 10 minute walk into Cockermouth. Nev and Shirl made us feel really welcome.
I really enjoyed sitting for Kristin. It was a nice stay, after a long drive back to hometown St. Louis after being out west for awhile. Kristin is a very kind and friendly host. Fritz is a really sweet dog. I enjoyed the walks around the neighborhood, such a nice and peaceful area. The only challenges were getting Fritz to come back inside from the backyard, but Kristin was helpful with sharing some ideas for a solution. Sometimes it could also be challenging to get Fritz to go out for walks, but that also was explained, and found a way to work that out. I hope it was also a good experience for Kristin having me as a sitter, and I welcome any opportunity to return!
I had a great time pet sitting for Bex and Lotta! They were very responsive and helpful and super kind, they even got me plant based dog treats to give to Tank, so I wouldn’t have to touch non-vegan ones, which while it wasn’t necessary, was very much appreciated! Tank was an absolute sweetheart and totally thinks he’s a lapdog, he’ll definitely love snuggling you on the couch! He’s well trained and just a joy to be around. The area is well connected, with the tram station just minutes away and there’s also a lovely park nearby to take Tank for walks. I can definitely recommend this sit!
