We thoroughly enjoyed our sit for David who has a beautiful home and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived and cooked a lovely meal for us both, he was always quick to respond to any questions during our sit. The dogs are a delightful little family, Puce and Big Boy (the kids of Peggy and Charlie) followed Paul everywhere as they loved to be helping. The cats Felix and Ginger and their little Kitten where very entertaining, the kitten had some great hiding places. We would not hesitate to sit for David again as we loved the whole experience of looking after his pets, staying in his home and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
We had a brilliant time looking after Timo and Leo whilst their 'Mum' was away. We arrived the day before Julie left and she made us feel very welcome in her lovely home and it was good to go through the cats' routine and for her to show us around the immediate area etc. The flat is very cosy and we felt very at home there right from the start. Timo and Leo are super cats and really great company. Timo is the more adventurous of the two and was quicker to come for snuggles and cuddles but Leo was not far behind! They loved to play with each other and also with us and the big basket of toys that they have - often actually choosing the toy they wanted to play with themselves! They are young cats and so have plenty of energy in short bursts which was lovely to see. They were very easy to look after and we had no issues with them or the accommodation. Julie had very kindly left us her car and we enjoyed exploring the surrounding areas in both France and Switzerland - so much to see and do. However I totally agree with the previous sitter in that it would be very easy to get around the area just using the frequent public transport. The local tourist information office is just across the road from Julie's home and the two ladies in there were very friendly and helpful on my several visits to them. Julie also had lots of information about the area already in her home. There is an excellent weekly market in the street where Julie lives where you can buy lots of local produce, there are also two excellent supermarkets close by ( Intermarche was our favourite)as well as a small local supermarket just round the corner and eateries in the immediate vicinity so you have everything you could need for a special time all at hand and two amazing cats and a lovely home to boot. Julie was very easy to communicate with both before and during our sit. Her housesitters guide pack was very informative. It was lovely to meet Julie and spend some time with her before she left for her holiday and we are very thankful to her for entrusting her boys and her home to us whilst she was away.
We had a wonderful time looking after Zeus! He is a sweet dog, well-behaved, calm and we already miss him so much! The house is very spacious and comfortable. It's located on the hill with spectacular views of the valley and the mountains. Fantastic setting. We enjoyed watching the sunrise while drinking our morning coffee. Fresh fruits right from the garden were a bonus we didn't expect- loved it! Diane is a very easy-going, warm, gentle, and extremely welcoming person who made us feel comfortable at her place right from the start. Can't wait for another opportunity to travel South and visit Diane & Zeus again! We would leave more thumbs up if we could :) It is a home away from home now!
An amazing sit! Didi and Rebecca were amazing and gave us so much information about Glasgow (which we loved). Miyu was perfect! She's so sweet and playful and loves to snuggle and sleep with you. We are in love. The flat is great and so confortable! Location is perfect with easy public transport and parks nearby or an easy walk into Glasgow center. Would love to come back!
I throughly enjoyed sitting for Aprils fur babies. Her home was is in a great location just on the outskirts of Austin. Holo, Rusty and Hermes were great company, and very sweet. All the animals were loving and well behaved. Would definitely sit for this bunch again.
Beautiful gated community in Port St. Lucie, where it is very quiet and many friendly people. Sidney's house is spacious, clean and has good amenities. Realize that you will really need a car. The living room was a little bit of a mess when we arrived, but not a big issue. It is by the way easy and pleasant to communicate with Sidney. Then dog Birdy: what a sweetheart! She is very happy and nice to walk with. We recommend this address and would certainly like to petsit here again! 4.5 stars.
