We had a great time in Heckmondwike and felt very welcome here. Johnny is very friendly and explained everything perfectly. You can find all you need in the village, multiple shops are nearby and also a few restaurants/takeaways. There are more nice places to visit in the area as well, such as Leeds, York, and Manchester. Annie the cat is very sweet. In the beginning she is a bit shy, but once she gets to know you a little better, she loves to be cuddled and sit next to you. She is quite independent and finds her way outside. We topped up her food bowl in the morning, made sure she always had a bowl of fresh water, and she loved the cat snacks that we got her. We had a great stay and highly recommend this house sit!
Olive was a joy to sit! She is one of the most gentlest and sweetest dogs ever! Meagan was incredibly thorough and communicative before and during the sit. The area was amazing and the apartment was beautiful. We will miss Olive!

We love this family! Coordination with Dancy was seamless. Prior to the sit, asked if my adult son with autism could accompany me. He lives in the area and wanted to have the experience of caring for a pet. Dancy was so gracious and allowed him to join me. He took the lead in care of Louis. They bonded quite well! After that sit, I asked him if he would write a review. I think what he wrote sums it up quite well: “The home was luxurious. The cat was friendly. We got to know each other quickly.
