However, Sacramento is only 45 minutes away and grocery stores and restaurants are a quick 10 minute drive. Marcus and Luca are so sweet and funny. I truly wanted to take them home with me. I had my 16 year old dog with me and they were sweet and accommodating to her. Marcus had no problem sharing his bed with her and both dogs snuggled with her. The dogs are easy going and just want to be with you. They love car rides, snuggling on a couch or bed with you or just being in the same room while you tend to business. I was amazed at how tolerant Luca was of his bath and daily grooming. Cheryl was very generous by taking us out to dinner the evening we arrived. She opened up her kitchen and wine cellar to us, treated us with a couple of gift cards and a thank you gift. We felt very appreciated. Their home is a unique design and laid out nicely. A nice guest suite with plenty of space and separate from their quarters if an overnight stay is required while they are still in the home. We enjoyed getting to know Cheryl and Sarkis and feel like we made new friends. We hope to do a sit here again.
It was great to care for Kipper. Kip is really playful and easy, and Allison and Duncan left instructions that made caring for him very straightforward. I would totally sit here again.
Millie is an adorable dog with a lot of energy! She likes company and watching ducks at the nearby canals. Maneesh communicated well throughout our stay and we loved the rooftop garden in his apartment block.
