Stephanie was very self-sufficient and didn’t require a lot of instruction. She was only there one night but kept the place the way we left it.
Caring for Lola was a wonderful experience! She is a very polite and affectionate lady. There weren’t any issues with her warming up to us and she liked our company. For any future sitters, know that she loves getting her fur brushed and receiving neck scratches! Our host Patrick was also kind and responsive with communication. We really appreciate him letting us use the facilities. The apartment was neat, clean, and extremely comfortable. Overall, it was a great sit!
We had a lovely time looking after Maud and Ted. Maud is a grand dame who knows her own mind and is easy going and affectionate. She enjoys her walks (except in the rain for which I don’t blame her one tiny bit), especially sniffing around and trying to snatch the occasional ‘treat’! Ted is a wonderful ginger Tom. Dorothy is so welcoming, we felt at home straight away. Her home is very well placed to explore the city with all its little lanes and alleys, it is such an interesting and historic place. A highly recommended sit.
We LOVED Housesitting for Hal and Val! It was such a pleasure to care for the ponies and the chickens. All of them were Fun and entertaining! The location was great for visiting Miami and its interesting neighborhoods. We took great advantage of the easy access to the canal by kayaking up and down it multiple times throughout the sit. As soon as we got to their home, Hal and Val were very welcoming and made us feel at home right away. Communicating with them was very easy. Hal was always very available to answer questions we had via text message. Their collection of books and of operas kept us busy for a while. We also Loved practicing our piano skills on their concert piano. We would love to housesit for them again.
We loved everything about this Dogsit. Blue and Monty are just adorable dogs. They are uncle and niece. Blue loves her cuddles and I already miss her on my lab in the evenings. There is a huge garden, where they can run and play. The dogwalks around are stunning. Nice fields and streams and rivers. Blue and Monty love a good walk mornings and evenings. I even went for a run with them, they are good running buddies too. The house is huge and we had our own room, with ensuite bathroom. Thanks a lot Kate and Jon for having us. And everything was so well explained. Thanks for letting us use the Bicyclea. We are happy to come again. We miss the doggies already.
I loved my stay at Bridget’s, looking after their cats Baggins and Lottie. I didn’t see them an awful lot but they were great company when they were in. The house and the grounds are beautiful and a pleasure to stay in
I enjoyed looking after Hugo. He is a very affectionate and friendly cat. Milla’s home is in a great location, close to restaurants and s short train or bus trip to the city.
