I really liked Kim and Randy as soon as meeting them ... and the same is true for their gorgeous and friendly Siberian cat, Pixel! In fact, I'm smitten! I felt so lucky to be able to know him, care for him, and pet him, endlessly, as well as brush him :) And to do so in a lovely 3-story comfortable home in a convenience part of San Francisco. I could count on regular responses from Kim, despite traveling abroad, so it was an easy, reassuring, and 100% delightful stay in every way, however, the aftermath is suffering from Pixel withdrawal! He's truly a one-of-a-kind cat. Thank you, Pixel, for being the best of company <3
This was one of the nicest sits I have done...The house is lovely and the setting is beautiful.The two cats are no problem and are very shy. Lynn is a lovely lady and I hope to go back next year.
I so enjoyed the kittens Rusty & Ginger, who are obviously learning so much at this stage. Such fun to watch their antics! Fonda is a dear soul, who loves frolicking in the yard. I caught on quickly that she enjoys catching and chasing the ball. The fetching, however, was left up to me - ha. Maddie has slowed down in her years, and was happy napping on the deck. She cones in to eat when you aren’t looking (and can possible evade those more perky kittens). David & Karin graciously welcomed me & even fed me a wonderful dinner and breakfast. Very comfortable home with great animals and their fun parents! Would happily return for other sits.
Utterly flawless sit! Alexa and Chris are an absolute delight to communicate with, from the initial zoom chat to the pre-sit home tour and appreciative update responses. They have created such a stylish, zen and immaculate oasis and Tony is the adorable cherry on top! He’s such a handsome, silky-soft purrer with an evermore endearing personality. Even with so many London attractions close at hand my favourite thing was to hang out with him! Highly recommend. Lovely all round!
I enjoyed sitting for Beth and it was a really relaxed stay. Communication with Beth was easy and I felt comfortable sharing any concerns and asking any questions. I felt confident in doing the tasks and taking care of Simba and Nahla. The flat is bright and comfy. I loved the bed. I slept amazing haha. The both kitties are really different in temperament. Nahla is curious and adventurous and will approach you pretty much at first sight. Simba needs time to warm up. Waiting for him to come out and come to you might take days. But once he does it is an absolute delight. He is a love-bug at heart. I enjoyed their company! You gotta have to be attentive to the beddings and the floor. Simba was quite nervous during my stay. He might puke and you gotta have to clean it. And there might be accidents about pee on the bedding. It's easy to clean and I had no problem with washing the beddings as everything is at hand. But if you cannot deal with such accidents, this sit might not be for you. I would recommend you to shut the door to your room, as accidents on your bedding can get avoided that way. Other than that the kitties are simply adorable and easy to take care of. No loud nights, no early wake-up-calls. They are great flatmates. Get them some creamy treats and they will warm up in no time! hehe Thank you Beth for letting me sit for you! I hope to come again.
I had a very good time in Runcorn with Doug and Bella. Doug is one lovely dog! He is very friendly and we immediately bonded with him. I had some work left when I was there and Doug was usually sitting on my lap while I work on my laptop, it was just so cute and cozy. We had nice morning walks and he behaved very well in them. In general he seems like a very happy dog and all he wants is just a companion. Bella is pretty low maintenance, she spends most of her time outside walking and hunting, and is pretty chill and friendly cat indoors. It's mostly just updating food and water, couple of minutes of a neck rub. The house is very nice and was exceptionally clean on my arrival, has a nice garden where pets usually spend their time. Area is very peaceful and quiet. Cafes/restaurants need some walk but deliveries work very well. Kitchen has everything you might need. Very comfortable living room with all the streaming channels, perfect for couch potato vacations like mine, Doug is very happy to be watching TV with you too. In general I had a very nice, peaceful time, Ann was very nice and all the instructions were extremely detailed and easy.
