Kathy
Our stay at Kathy and Chuck's house was very comfortable, and they are wonderful hosts! The location is beautiful and close to everything you need. Truffles and Callie are the cutest kitties and so easy to take care of. We'd gladly stay at Kathy and Chuck's house again. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

I had a great time with Buster and Scout! In short, Buster wants all of the scratches and treats...while Scout wants all of the cuddles and to not be left out.

If you doubt how stubborn Buster can be, don't. There could be a few reasons he might not want to move. He wants a treat. He wants to leave through the back door, not the front...even if he's already outside the front door. He wants to go to the cafes where they have the good treats.

I primarily walked him by the river to avoid the cafés (because you might need one of their staff members to help you get him to leave)...but beware, if you go far enough, it loops back to the cafe. After a standoff, he was finally motivated by the treats to follow me back home :) Always make sure you fill the tin with treats. You might need all of them to get him home. He could also get sufficiently distracted to move...if another human comes by and gives him love.

Scout never wants to get left out but more than anything, just wants to sit in your lap. A little secret...Buster is afraid of her. When Buster tries to wake you up too early and for no real reason...if you let Scout sleep in bed with you, she will stare him down and he will stop. Sometimes, I took Scout out on her own so she could walk where she wanted and sniff where she wanted...she seemed to really enjoy it.

They were both very sweet though and I'd be happy to watch them again! The place is very inviting and I love the style. It was also conveniently located with loads of shops and restaurants nearby (including the best pizza place). If you like prepared meals to pop in the oven or microwave, Cook is great!

And not least of all, Catherine was super responsive during her vacation. There was a situation that came up, which I hadn't dealt with before and she immediately called and walked me through what to do...and everything was good! The neighbourhood is also really great, you'll meet loads of people who will recognize Buster and Scout and will chat with you.

And don't forget to look for the penguins!

Avi
Our stay at Avi’s was excellent. Avi gave us a warm handover and was easy to communicate with. Yoshi and Luigi were sweet, kind and fun animals. As other sitters also wrote Yoshi takes a bit of time to open up, but when he finally does he’s enjoyable company! Luigi is easy going and loves to tease Yoshi. The house is conveniently located close to Ormond train station (gateway to CBD) and there are also parks and cafes nearby.

Alex & Tarrah
Our 10 days in Alex and Tarrah's gorgeous and interesting home was one of our favorites. Ru was the sweetest dog we have ever had the opportunity to be with, and Snooze was so fun! They must have appeared a unique pair on our walks with their opposing sizes.
Their special-designed home is situated very near hikes, restaurants, and shopping. It was also easy to spend time in their lovely gated yard, reading and watching the dogs romp after a ball or toy.
Organization is key to a good situation, and Alex and Tarrah certainly provided complete instructions to help us make this entire experience a success. You will adore these dogs and throughly enjoy this home. We hope to see you again, Ru and Snooze!

It was such a pleasure housesitting here caring for 2 beautiful cats . Gayle & William welcomed us with great hospitality & we really enjoyed their company if only for a short time.
Kealba is a lovely area with all you could want so close by. The weather was so very cold but the home so lovely & warm with a great fireplace. .

Edmund and Chris' have a fantastic 2br, 2b, 2 private garden (!) home in the heart of the Marais. The apartment has all the modern amenities you'll need for an extended stay, including ones that are rarer in Paris (including a dryer!). The area is beautiful and historic, lined with incredible patisseries, restaurants, bars, and shopping. You won't find a better apartment or location for your stay!

Of course, the highlight of the stay is Josie n Jaxon, who are the loveliest little pugs you'll ever meet. They are incredibly easygoing and want nothing more than to curl up with you on the couch. They gave us no trouble whatsoever. As long as you feed and walk them in the morning and evening (with lots of cuddles in between), they're good. They'll also help you explore the neighborhood as they love leading you on walks all over!

Edmund and Chris were lovely and welcoming. They were always available on WhatsApp if any problems arose (not that any did) or to answer any questions about the home/pugs. We would absolutely sit for them again and again!
