Austin and Ally are an absolute delight to look after. Austin is the gentle soul who will lay at your feet and just wants to be near you. Ally gets excited for her walks, and then settles down straight after. It was a lot of fun being with them. Kay is so kind and considerate, nothing is too hard for her. Her house is amazing, and you have your separate area, so if you do come early you wont feel like you are on top of each other. Her kitchen is fully equipped and close to town and all the hiking you could want to do. Was a delight to sit for them, and will certainly do it again. Going to miss the puppies.
We spent a month caring for Chernish in Elise's new house in Carcassonne, and had a wonderful time. It was always easy to communicate with Elise, both before and during the sit. She gave us a folder with written detailed information on caring for Chernish, and lots of ideas for exploring the local area. Any problems we had she was able to quickly solve, even while on holiday. The house is ideally situated between the old and new cities - we were fine without a car, walking and catching busses and trains. The river and canal provide wonderful walking, and there are plenty of shops nearby. The house itself is cosy, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was a pleasure to look after Chernish, quickly settling into a routine and enjoying lots of cuddles. He is an older cat, but very easy to look after. He will let you know when he needs feeding, and spends much of the day finding a sunny spot to sleep in. Carcassonne is an interesting city to spend time in, even in winter - we enjoyed learning about the history of the area, and the local food was delicious. There's a good Saturday morning market, too. We were fortunate to have time to spend the night there after Elise returned, and had some great conversations. We miss cuddles with Chernish, and look forward to catching up with you both soon.
Joon and Neko were just so sweet and cute, it was hard to say goodbye. They’re big time cuddlers-especially Neko, and they also love to play-especially Joon. Robyn and Christian’s place was beautiful, peaceful, and super comfy. Robyn sent us detailed video instructions and was easy to reach for any further questions.
Where to start! We met up with Carol and Simon before our sit to talk through things. They made us feel very welcome and were really clear about everything. We had a fantastic time staying in their home. It was warm, homely and comfortable. We really appreciated Carol making our rooms up all cosy and thank you for leaving us some goodies. The best bit though was Sirius. He is absolutely lovely, so great with the children, Very well behaved and well mannered. A real credit to them. Just a bundle of bottomless love! We hope you had a great first sit. Hope to meet again soon. x
I had a fantastic time with Sputnik. He was shy at the beginning but after few hours, such a loving cat. The appartement is gorgeous and very comfortable in a great area of Roma. Dan and Sigita made me immediately feel at home. Thank you for your trust. I hope to come back again in the future! 🤩😉
This sit was definitely an adventure! The house is set in a stunning position, with fantastic views over towards the Apuan Alps. I chose not to hire a car and used the Train( the Station being about a 10 minute walk from the house) but for ease l would probably recommend getting your own transport, as you have much better access to get groceries etc a few miles in the next village. The cats were all very easy to care for, all with their own unique personalities. Highly recommended sit in a beautiful location. Thankyou to you both
