Evelyn was wonderful and the cats have already asked when she's coming back to visit! Just great all around. Easy to communicate with, just a lovely person, no issues whatsoever, and I think my place was cleaner when I came back than when I left. She sent pics while I was away, and just made it so I hardly thought about home and certainly had zero worries. We'd love to have Evelyn back anytime!
Paul and Georgina were wonderfully welcoming and provided great communication about everything we needed to care for their three sweet dogs. We arrived a few hours before they needed to leave and had time to take the dogs on a walk in the Chobham Commons and to go to lunch at a lovely pub just down the road. We really enjoyed this time to get to know them better and to hear more about their travel plans and the dogs. The dogs are very loving and a joy to walk. They are all excellent off lead walkers in the commons which are accessible right out the door. There are lots of trails and miles of wooded, lovely natural areas to explore. Wellies recommended so you can just trod on through without concern for the puddles and mud. Amazingly the dogs seem impervious to mud. We had the best time getting to know the three of them and seeing their individual personalities. Little Hugo rules the roost as the little dog with a big dog personality. He is the oldest and may have some older dog aches and pains in the mornings that make him a little grouchy and not excited to eat. But he is really loving and enjoyed lap time with us when we watched TV or sometimes he even wanted on my lap while I was working on my computer. Boss and Inca, the Vizslas, are just super easy-going with sweet dispositions. The home is clean and spacious and we had a lovely guest room with ensuite bathroom. The location was within a car drive to anything we needed. For us it was a perfect sit and we look forward to sitting for Paul and Georgina again in the future and would highly recommend this sit to other sitters.
We loved our stay at Anna and Mike's house. It's a comfortable renovated farmhouse in a beautiful rural setting. Poppy and Kip are lovely affectionate dogs. Poppy doesn't come for walks, but Kip is easy to walk and very well behaved. We didn't see much of Donald except at meal times, when. he loved to have a cuddle. The guinea pigs were easy! Anna and Mike left clear instructions for the care of the animals and were easy to communicate with. Thiviers and Excideuil are an easy drive (or possibly cycle if it's not a heatwave!) and they have excellent markets. We also went to Perigueux on Anna and Mike's recommendation for the marché gourmand (in July and August) and that was a highlight of our trip. We would certainly return. Merci pour nous invitez!
Jackie was an absolutely amazing host. I highly recommend sitting for her and her lovely furry pets. Her and Andrew went above and beyond. I hope I can sit for them again in the future.
Sami and Tobi are sweet kitty siblings who were a delight to care for! Their human parents, Amy and Larry, are delightful and it was easy to communicate with them throughout the sit. Their lovely home is quiet and comfortable.
Deb was such a lovely host, welcoming us into her house. Tsu and Nami are such gorgeous cats. They take a while to warm up, but once they are, they slept next to us or under the bed. Both cats are so relaxed, just like the whole sit was. Such a pleasant time spent, in such a beautiful spot in Canada!
We had such a wonderful stay in Charlotte’s home which was perfect for working remotely and cooking your own meals. The house was tidy and clean and has a lovely backyard. Barney is the sweetest boy and is happiest chasing after his beloved tennis ball or when it’s dinner time. He is easy to love and a fantastic travel partner when exploring some of the other parks and places in London. Wish we could visit again soon!
