Adorable kitties in a beautifully renovated and decorated historic home in the heart of Bar Harbor. Neville is so cute with his solid black and white tuxedo fur coat, and his character matches the outfit. Petey is at first reserved about being touched, but soon he turns into Sweetey. Both express their needs, and enjoy company. Dixie was a pleasure. The lovely town is at the entrance to the stunning Acadia National Park. Wonderful sit.
We had a great time on our sit with Macchiato. Niamh and Philipp were very welcoming, great communication before and throughout the sit. Their home is beautiful and very comfortable in a wonderful London location.
Mandy was a great person to do a pet sit for. She bent over backwards in helping me out from picking me up from the train station to having me stay the night before the sit began. Mandy was very organised with all instructions before she left, leaving me feeling comfortable and happy her two pets Tess and Ben had every thing sorted out for their well being. Mandy lives in a delightful home very close to all amenities and lovely dog walks right at her door. Tess and Ben are absolutely gorgeous and a credit to Mandy. I really enjoyed myself and time flew. Looking after Crumble, Betsy and Bozo was a lot of fun. They are such happy dogs, tails always wagging, and they love human interaction. Caragh has them in a good routine, which makes looking after them very straightforward. Betsy is very fond of her food, but even she doesn't beg. Caragh's house is very spacious, beautifully designed and luxurious. It's sat within its own expansive grounds that the dogs can roam freely within. The en-suite bedroom provided for your sit is exceptional. Caragh and her family are all incredibly friendly and made me feel very welcome in their home. There are plenty of stunning country lane walks on the doorstep (be sure to bring your wellies if wet) and you're just 15 minutes drive from the lovely town of Marlborough which has plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes. I am already missing Crumble, Betsy and Bozo, and it would be lovely to be able to sit for them again sometime! Thank you Caragh!
Wow, what an amazing experience we had with sweet ol' Darby and the kitty crew! Darby is such a sweetheart. She adores her walks and will lead you to her favorite spots in the neighborhood. Aside from her walks and daily snoozes, she loved her food and treats, and family time - with snuggles! Kitties Hank, Dixie, and Larry are full of character. Dixie was a little shy at first but warmed up pretty quick for some rubs and meow meow talk. Larry is a purry loverboy, and Hank is hysterical - especially when it's time for his coolwhip (he'll let you know when!). Hanging out lakefront with the ducks and watching the birds was awesome. This is such a peaceful location, and a beautiful, and clean house. We appreciated our time with Mary and Rick who made us feel so comfortable and welcome. They are genuine kind-hearted people who make sure you feel at home and that you enjoy your time there. Thanks so much Mary and Rick. Please give Darby and the kitties cuddles from us :)
We loved everything about sitting for Lisa! She left a detailed guide which covered everything we needed to know about the home & pups. Henry & Lulu were a total delight from the moment we met them! They are both super friendly, easy going, and incredible with kids. Henry is the best nighttime cuddler, and Lulu loves playing fetch. Lisa's backyard opens up to a golf course, so we enjoyed taking Henry & Lulu there to play! Communication with Lisa was a breeze, and she is extremely hospitable. Her home is gorgeous and set up perfectly for house sitters. Amazing views from every window and plenty of balconies & patios to soak in all the beauty! It was truly hard for us to say goodbye to Henry & Lulu, which is why we are extra excited to already be coming back next month!!
