Pet Sitters in Alloway, MD

Mark and his wife, Claudine, were phenomenal house and pet sitters. They were kind and loving toward our dogs, of course, which is the most important thing. They even fed our little frog, which is a challenge and takes a lot of patience, but they did it with good cheer. They sent us a daily update, including photos, to keep us informed about how things were going at home and shared funny and sweet anecdotes that really captured our dogs’ natures. We name home to a pristine house and a lovely and sweet surprise that couldn’t have been more thoughtful. zeewoi has connected us with some great people, and Mark and Claudine are truly that. If they should offer to sit for you, don’t hesitate a moment!

Carrie arrived on time and immediately connected with our two dogs. She took excellent care of the dogs. They went on walks around the neighborhood. She communicated with us every day, sent pictures, and left the house spotless. Highly recommend her.

Rachel was one of our favorite sitters! I was a little concerned as the communication wasnt the best prior to the sit (long delays in responding). She had Shannon over a few days and her best friend on different days. We permitted it after meeting them, and trusting her. She was good about letting us know when something was wrong or broken. She also did a lot of changing things around in our home to accommodate what was desired. I understand as there was a bit of clutter in places. However, things were not always put back where they were and we have struggled to find several things. In some instances, the place looked better! Rachel was easy going and friendly. She graciously accommodated our needs for flexibility in the travel times. The animals all seemed happy and well so that meant the most! And she sent pics as requested! If she lived closer, she’s the kind of woman I could hang out with! With all this said, We would love to have her and Shannon back for a future sit, and the animals would be delighted too!

Chelsea and her wonderful son Steven came to my home to care for Woolly Mammoth. Woolly fail immediately in love with them to the point he almost did not say bye to me. He really wanted to be playing with Steven! Chelsea kept me fully informed and also my family when there were a couple questions about my home. I got pictures and even one of Woolly trying to leave with them as he jumped into their car and needed to be coached out! The house was impeccable when they left. I would love to have them back!

Kim was a wonderful and very competent house sitter. We communicated easily and clearly from the beginning. She was easy going and took to the chores quickly, which is saying a LOT since we asked a lot of her with 20 sheep, 20 chickens, ducks, bunnies, a dog a a cat! She took our dog for long hikes and made sure to find backup care when she had to leave for a day so that the animals wouldn't be alone for too long. Upon our return, it was clear that all the animals were well cared for and she even weeded my garden!! The house was very tidy and clean. We really enjoyed having Kim stay in our home. She instantly felt like an old friend and she had a great sense of humor, too.

Kaitlin was amazing. She sent me daily updates and I loved seeing how affectionate our dog was with Kaitlin. Our neighbors also commented that they saw a lot of Fern and Kaitlin, and Fern's tail was always wagging. Kaitlin left the house neat and clean, and spent lots of quality time with Fern. I think Fern actually had some withdrawals when I got home and had to go back to work! I would definitely recommend Kaitlin to care for your pets.

I highly recommend Katie! We came home to happy cats and a clean house. She was friendly, helpful, organized, and great with communication and sending us updates. Besides going above and beyond to take care of our pets, she also seems to be a cat magnet - our grumpy older cat, who never likes anyone, was sitting in her lap daily - amazing! It was great to have someone who truly enjoys spending time with cats.

Joseph took care of our cat and house-sat for us for 2 weeks. In advance of our trip, we were able to do both a virtual and in-person meet and greet to ensure everyone felt comfortable and do a walk through of the house, which we really appreciated.While we were away, Joseph responded quickly to texts/any questions we sent and provided photo and text updates every 1-2 days. Upon our return, our cat seemed happy. Unfortunately, the day of our return, Joseph accidentally locked himself out of our house. He communicated with us and we were able to provide him access to a backup key. However, when we returned home about an hour and a quarter later, we were surprised to find that he was still there (he was supposed to have left much earlier in the day before we arrived home, and we knew he was running a little behind because of the lockout, but he didn’t tell us he would still be there when we walked in). He texted us that the house was clean and ready for us, but unfortunately the house was not clean and the cat litter boxes were quite smelly and appeared not to have been changed or scooped in many days. While we realize that getting locked out of the house created some delays in getting packed and tidying the house, we were upset to find the kitty litter in that state and for the clear disorganization, at least in the final day. We provided this feedback directly to Joseph and hope that this was a one-time experience. However, we would urge clear communication around any expectations for cleaning, communication, and care.

Sofia was an incredibly caring, clean, and communicative pet sitter. My dogs did great with her and she kept the home nice and tidy while I was away. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Ayanna was very reliable and responsible. She communicated well with us. She loved the dogs including playing ball and walking them. The house was very clean when she left. We appreciated her flexibility as our plans changed.

Kelsey was an incredible house sitter! She sent updates on the pets every few days, kept the house clean, and restocked everything that she used here. Highly recommend!

Catherine was great! She took Jake for long walks and he enjoyed her company enough to even start sleeping in the room with her. It made our vacation much more relaxing to know that our dog was in good hands. She managed things in our home well and we came home to a sweet gift. You would be fortunate to have Catherine stay with your pets.
